A lucid critique of the friction between outdated cultural mandates and the harsh economic realities of modern life. It successfully frames the childfree choice not as a rebellion, but as a rational act of self-preservation against a failing social contract.

Childfree, Single Filipinos Trigger Toxic Couples & Relatives (Unmarried Millennial Trentahin POV)Added:
I bet you guys noticed this really weird pattern.
The relatives pressuring you to get married are usually the exact same people constantly borrowing money from you.
Nothing triggers a miserable couple more than seeing a single guy just chilling.
Enjoying his peaceful weekend without the any screaming.
It seems like they want you to suffer with them.
Because misery absolutely needs some company here.
A happy single Filipino man is for them dangerous.
Because he threatens their traditional family illusion. Now, this might sound like a massive rant.
But millennials and elder Gen Z's can relate.
Let us clarify one thing right now.
We are not hating on actual parents. A lot of them are very lovely people.
And I have a lot of friends who are great great parents. And so that is I can say that I am glad this person is a parent. Like I'm glad for the children.
I know these people and I know they can raise this child right.
But I can say the same for other Filipinos out there.
So again, I am not we are not hating on parents.
Just do not spread your own mis- I mean, please stop annoying other people.
Especially those who chose a peaceful path.
Go to any typical Filipino gathering.
The neighborhood marites is waiting for you. Kailan ka mag-asawa? She will loudly ask for everyone to hear.
For my non-Tagalog speaking audience, for someone at the family reunions or just any self-side will ask you, "When are you getting When are you going to get married? When will you finally marry?"
But, look at her own life.
Her husband is always avoiding her completely.
We lack official statistics on this, especially here in this third world country, but I'm going to take a guess that many of these couples are coping.
Feel free to change my mind, though.
They are deeply angry at your freedom because you chose peace over societal rules.
Now, angry haters will try to argue.
They will throw this famous toxic line that's very basic, actually.
"Who's going to take care of you when you get old?"
Children are not your personal retirement fund.
This toxic culture needs to finally stop.
And why push me and other millennials and Gen Zs to have kids?
We already have too many people in this developing country, if it's actually developing.
The Philippines is so small, but it's so overpopulated.
And in my other video, I said that the population is around 115 million. It's actually about to be 118 million this 2026.
That number is insane to me.
The Philippines is in a very unique trap.
We have no legal divorce available.
Just a super expensive and dragging annulment process.
If you make one bad relationship choice, marry the wrong person, you are legally stuck there for life. And marriage here includes the entire bloodline, too.
You are adopting her entire excited family.
Suddenly, you are sponsoring cousins, uncles, distant relatives you don't know about. You bleed money just to keep the peace.
Now, let us be completely fair here.
Some Filipino marriages are actually very happy.
Good, loyal partners actually exist out there.
I am not attacking healthy, mutual love.
I am attacking the blind cultural pressure.
And we haven't even talked about the economy of the country.
You know, not just the country, the entire world right now is we are facing a severe global crisis.
Having kids in this economy, that line in this economy actually dated decades ago, but and sometimes it's it's kind of overused, but this year it's actually very valid to use that. It It's never been [music] the perfect time to use that line.
Philippine inflation is destroying the middle class.
Political corruption is draining our taxes, our hard-earned money, for some people literal blood, sweat, and tears.
And you add kids to that, raising kids will drain your savings almost completely.
If you even have savings right now, yet society calls single men and even women, we they call us selfish.
We are just doing the basic math.
And the math ain't mathing. It ain't looking good.
And you have guys now going their own way.
Men going their own way, focusing entirely on their own mental health and physical health.
And you've probably seen on the news the declining birth rate across the country.
I I I don't know about you, but I personally think uh that's not so bad of a news.
For sure economists and sociologists, the science nerds, they have reasons.
They'll give you reasons uh saying that that's actually that's actually bad for us long term, but for the Philippines, well, you can see the effect on developed countries like China, some part of China, then Japan, Korea.
For the Philippines, we kind of need Thanos to snap his fingers just one time.
So, some choose the modern DINK lifestyle today. These are steady rise of uh the DINK movement, d i n k, dual income, no kids. And some are dinky because maybe they're going to have kids in the future. Dinky means dual income, no kids yet.
And there's actually DINK wad, dual income, no kids with a dog.
Many will remain happily solo forever though.
After all, I believe your peace is one of your most valuable assets.
So, let the relatives stay mad forever until their last breath.
Let the Pinoy Karens complain on Facebook. They want you stressed out.
They want you looking haggard like them.
Your happiness makes them deeply uncomfortable.
Like it's unfair.
Guard your wallet and protect your peace. Guard your mental health.
Ignore them. It is your life after all.
Whether you want to bring another life in this world, it's up to you.
I have a lot to say in this topic. Maybe we can revisit this topic on future videos, but for now, that's it.
Your turn. Share your thoughts in the comments below. You might validate someone reading the comment section today.
