Robinson Crusoe: The Original Survival Story

[00:00:12]Robinson Crusoe is a young man from York, England. His father wants him to stay home, live [music] safely, and build a respectable life. But Crusoe does not want safety. He wants the sea.

Slowly, he begins to build a life. He digs into a cave, he makes a fenced [music] home, he marks the days on a wooden post so time does not disappear. He plants grain, [music] he raises goats, he learns to make pottery, he dries grapes into raisins, he turns the island into a strange little [music] kingdom of one.
