FULL Guide on the BEST Futures Prop Firm: Lucid Trading (#1)Added:
When it comes to pricing and easy payout rules, aka the only thing I care about as a prop firm trader, Lucid and specifically the Flex plan is currently my personal and clear number one pick.
So, here's a full guide and review of everything you need to know, starting with the excellent Flex plan that can be passed in as little as two days and has no daily loss limit or activation fee.
Here's a nice surprise, evaluations are a one-time purchase rather than a monthly subscription. Get the lowest possible price on every account at Lucid, guaranteed by using code Iman with the link in the video description.
That code updates to the best available sale, so you'll never miss out on any savings. Once funded and in order to request a payout, you just need to have five total days with profit of at least $150 on each day, and then you can request up to 50% of the balance.
There's no consistency rule, buffer to clear, specific payout windows, or anything else. Plus, payouts with Lucid are a 90% profit split, which is a huge advantage. And you can often get payouts approved and sent to you in just minutes. Let's do an example. Let's say your account balance is 54,000. You can request up to $2,000 since that's 50% of the balance. Let's say you do that, and now the account is at 52,000. After five more profitable days and as long as the account is net positive by at least $1, you can request 50% of the balance again. So, let's say the new balance is 52,000 and $2. You could request up to $1,001.
It's very simple, just keep requesting 50% of the balance. So, that means you can withdraw up to $10,000 total per account because the max payout request each time is $2,000, and you are transitioned to a live account after five payouts. Math. Keep that in mind.
Check the pinned comment or the review on imanrading.org for updates, and remember that the live account is not a punishment. For this 50k account, it's a free $2,000 account to continue trading.
If you want higher earnings potential in SIM funded as well as a higher live account starting balance, then choose the 100k or 150k account size. Almost all of you, including myself, are fine with the 10k earnings cap using the 50k account. It's only the big earners and experienced prop traders that should go with the bigger accounts. You can also save even more money by picking this excellent 25k account. Not all firms offer that. It's even cheaper and easier to pass and get payouts from than what we covered with the 50k account. Just use code Iman, it gets you the highest discount every time. It must be said that Lucid is a relatively newer firm, and so that comes with more risks. I have zero insight into the health of any firm, but I'm buying accounts here because one, I accept that risk, and because two, reviews have been overwhelmingly positive without any major issues. But, check the guide on my site for updates as well as to see all of the best firms, which includes the more established and safer/older ones if that's a priority. Join the free Prop Firm Center Discord for free account giveaways. There's one happening right now for Lucid, dedicated channels for firms, verified funded and paid out roles, up-to-date sales, and a great community exclusively for prop traders.
I'd love to have you join. The other account that Lucid offers is called Lucid Pro, which is catered towards the more aggressive traders. The reason that Pro costs more is because there's no scaling rule, which means you get immediate access to the maximum position sizing once funded rather than having to build your account up. Plus, the evaluation can be passed in one day.
However, there's a reason why Flex is by far the most popular option at Lucid, and that's because it's cheaper and far easier for payouts. And look, here's the truth because I actually care about you making the best decision. If you need the type of leverage the Pro plan offers and can actually take advantage of it for getting more payouts, then check the same-named Pro plan at MyFunded Futures.
It also has no scaling rule, but it's far easier for payouts and has less rules. And it has an extraordinarily high earnings cap before the live account promotion. Code Iman gets the highest discount here as well, and the quick guide on my site will simplify all the important rules. Also, reality check, a very small percentage of purchases at Lucid are even for the Pro plan. Most of you are like me, meaning you're better off with the cheap and easy Lucid Flex plan. Don't fall into instant gratification traps of being able to pass evaluations in one day unless you have proven to yourself that you can benefit from it. Be smart. You can do that testing for free on NinjaTrader on a free SIM account using the link in the description. Lucid also has a direct funding option that skips the evaluation, meaning you immediately start working towards payouts, and it's very difficult in order to be sustainable. As small as the audience for the Pro plan is, it's even smaller for the direct plan. Get the Flex plan and don't even look at this unless you really know what you're doing. A few important rules to cover. Lucid is relatively new, policies will probably change, check my review for updates. At least 50% of your profit must come from trades held for longer than 5 seconds. I do a fair bit of scalping myself, that rule doesn't concern me at all. You can have up to 10 accounts at once with a max of five SIM funded accounts.
Separate from that, you can also have up to five live accounts. As usual though, you can't trade SIM funded and live at the same time. Lucid's website says that all simulated accounts are closed when a trader is moved live. If you are not comfortable with that, do not keep accounts in reserve. So, be aware of this and plan your final payouts on eligible funded accounts accordingly.
This is something that will probably be adjusted as time goes on, so just check my site. The important thing to remember is that while the pricing for these accounts may go up, the core aspects should remain the same. Expect small changes and tweaks from here on out. At least that's what I hope because nothing is more sad than a perfect plan being deleted and replaced by something that has nothing to do with why the original plan was loved in the first place. Mm.
The only activity rule at Lucid is that you must take a trade uh take at least one trade every 30 days. I think we can manage that.
Also, remember the significance of how evaluations are a one-time purchase.
That means it does not re-bill you the next month, plus there's no activation fee when you pass the evaluation. I only trade through prop firms right now, and Lucid is my favorite pick, which is not a title I just toss around. That makes them the third firm ever for me to say that about. Don't use prop firms until you're ready. Get started with SIM trading for free with NinjaTrader by registering through the link in the description. That's the platform I learned to trade on, and I've recommended them since 2021. That's how you do your learning for free. Well, I guess it's not free cuz it's like $4 for market data. As always, the guides on my website have much more information.
These videos are just meant to be short for you low attention span people who don't want to read, which I get cuz I don't want to do that either. That's why I make it for you. Come here.
Woah, that's pretty close.
Thank you. Take care. Join the Discord.
I'm very active there and would love to have you join if you trade through firms like me. Bye-bye.
