[00:04:40]>> Yeah. Anyways, uh so we finished our April book for book club this month that is that was chosen by Dominique. Um our color of the month for read the rainbow is pink and we read Peril and Pink by Sydney Lee. Finished that one up.

[00:05:50]Uh, anyway, so how is everybody's two weeks? Last two weeks. We finished up April already. We're headed into May.

[00:06:12]Every time I do this, CJ tells me I sound like that TV show Romper Room, which does and I were too young for.

There's just like a kids show where it would kind of start off uh with someone saying looking through like a magnifying glass um at like all the kids that were kind of in the audience and stuff or like they're participating in like the show for the day. They'd be like, "I see Jessica and I see Rebecca and I see Desiree and I see you." Anyway, hilarious, right? She said, "You got to Google it."

[00:06:58]Yeah. So, anyways, every time we say hello, it makes me think of it even though I've never seen it. It's just it has been CJ has mentioned it about 8,000 times since I met him. So, I literally think he was talking about it at work the other day because I think it was for the exact same reason, just like saying hello to everyone as they enter.

[00:07:21]Anyway, what were you right about? Oh, you were right about the book. Okay, well, hold hold the phone on that one because I was I was Yeah. But I know I just gave some like rando answer two weeks ago. I was like, I don't know. I'll just pick a name.

[00:11:33]And then The Twins. Ah, it was a good book. It was really interesting uh to take a little break, do a little cozy mystery. I'm not sure exactly what we're getting into for next month, but I'm sure it'll just be another mystery.

[00:14:30]Um, okay, real quick. I didn't do anything, but we did do, like I said, uh, the independent bookstore. Yesterday was like indie bookstore day. So, we went out, did a little book crawl at the four participating um indie bookshops that were um >> Who did?

[00:14:54]>> CJ and the kids and I, the four of us went out and you know, spent too much money on books, but could you really do that?

[00:15:01]>> Whatever.

[00:15:02]>> So, anyway, um so we did. We went out and did all that. Things are falling. Whoops.

[00:15:12]um and went to the first one and there was a gal there signing her, you know, signing books, talking about her book, blah blah blah. And she's I'm going to tell you what the book is about first.

[00:15:27]Um, and you guys are going to be like, "What the fuck?"

[00:15:32]But I grabbed it because I want to see you. Well, you'll see. So basically she describes the book very quickly in like one sentence and she goes basically a girl has to move to Ireland for 6 months to help run I think a bookshop.

[00:15:56]So she moves to Ireland for 6 months to run a bookshop.

[00:16:00]um, of course gets to know the town's folk and in the meantime falls in love with the son of the shop owner. And I was like, h, this sounds like every book we've ever read set in Ireland, specifically the bookshop around the corner.

[00:16:22]And I was like, we literally just read this. So, I I bought the book uh just to see if it's any different, which I'm, you know, could it be any different with that kind of uh blurb? That was like her one sentence like, "Here, buy my book."

[00:16:37]And I was like, "Fuck it. I'll buy it.

[00:16:38]Sign it, bitch."

[00:16:40]So, anyway, we shall see. I'll read it.

[00:16:43]I'll give it a go. Thought it was super funny, right? Yeah, that one was Scotland. But still, like it just sounds exactly like every other like, oh, I have to move to a, you know, little countryside town and run a shop for however, you know, whatever time frame. Just insert time frame, one year, 6 months, or someone died and I got to take it over and sell it, you know, just like the same kind of setup for so many books.

[00:17:15]But yeah, I was like, well, we'll see.

[00:17:16]I'll give that one a quick read. It looks like short books. So, and I'll let you guys know if it was any good.

[00:20:05]Anyway, and then I definitely thought it was Nick, but then I was like, "No, it's the girls." And then we found out that it was like all of them. But anyways, um, a lot of red herrings in this one.

[00:20:18]A lot of them. They tried to tried to throw us off quite a bit, but we didn't fall for it, did we?

[00:20:33]But there wasn't anyone that I ever that I felt strongly about aside from them like as an actual possibility.

Uh, and she's like, I don't care. I'm a murderer, so I got to figure this out myself. But, uh, I was like, this has to be like the first in like a series. Sounds like it would be the first in like one of those cozy series, mystery series.

But I feel like if she were to write like a second, she would probably write it about cat >> and it would probably be like some kind of little love story or you know some kind of meat cute and we'd get a little bit more about um James the police officer.
