HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) is produced through a multi-stage process in the Mechanism mod: ethylene gas is first created from decondensation, then processed in pressurized reaction chambers with hydrogen to create pellets, which are further processed in enrichment chambers to produce HDPE sheets. The system requires quantum entanglers for gas transport, crushers for substrate production, and rotary condensers for gas-to-liquid conversion.

Project Infinity - Ep 27 - HDPE, Black Iron And Pressure Chamber!Added:
Hello everyone, this is Pilpo. Welcome back to Project Infinity.
Now, last episode we put together all of this plastic as one of the components of the Infinity ingot. We're going to need a lot of plastic, which is why we went and got the seed as well, which is awesome. We also no longer need to make the plastic from uh industrial for going, which is going to be great because it's kind of slow. Let's just say that.
Especially the way I've set it up.
There's easier ways to set it up, right?
But the the seeds give us the essence and I'm doing mystical. You guys are making me do mystical, but it's fine. Uh we need it anyway, right? So yeah.
Anyway, today the plan is we're going to do some new more pneumatic craft, but we're going to do that later. I want to get some black iron first. And for that, we are going to need to set up HGP. I have already set it up, but um obviously uh I set it up in one episode and it was ridiculously long, so I had to split it into two. So anyway, here's all of the footage from me setting up HDPE. So we need a pressure chamber wall and all of that sort of gubbins. Love it. I'm I'm going to use this place down here for pneumatic craft.
How do we get onto that? Oh, yeah, cuz we're doing the advanced crafting.
But those do require black iron. So we should probably look into making some black iron.
The wyvern cord doesn't actually look that difficult. I think we got some draconium.
Don't remember where we got it. That was how we got it. We got it from crushed endstone. I haven't automated endstone yet. I probably should, but we'll we'll come to that when we come to it. I think what I want to do then is Yeah, we could smell it up.
Why not? I'm just going to sm up all the stuff we have right now.

We're going to get a bunch of that. So, that actually helps us with the draconic core as well cuz we can get the woven cores and stuff. But yes. Okay. So, basically, we'll have cactus. Oh, yeah. You're jugging right now, which is giving us still a ton of power. So, HDPE. Let's uh let's bookmark it backwards. Right. So, the sheet is made with the pellets. The pellets is made with the pressurized reaction chamber and it uses liquid ethylene. Oh, is that ethane? Where do you get that from? Nuclear craft.
Okay, that looks like a pain to get.
Fine, we'll get it from liquid ethylene, which comes from ethylene. Ethylene comes from decondentrating. So we need need a decondentrator. And then this one is just another pressurized reaction chamber with hydrogen in it.
Seems to work. What are the quantum entangler porters like in this pack?
You look fine. All right. I'm actually going to program in quantum entangleorters because that way we only need the one set up for hydrogen and stuff, which is the one that we've got over here right now. It's voiding off all of its hydrogen and it's pushing all of its oxygen into here. No, sorry. It's voiding off all of its uh oxygen and it's pushing all the hydrogen into here.
But instead, what we can do is we can remove this or we can move it somewhere else.
Or we No, actually, we do need it like this, don't we? Yeah. So, we can remove this. We can make it so or we we can put a quantum entangler in. Maybe we don't do that. I'll make a new one. Why not?

It's part of mechanism, right? So, we might as well use them. And also, if you don't have applied mech in one of the packs you're playing, you can still use quantum entangleorters if you still got mechanism, if you know what I mean. Anyway, that's going to take its time because it's making stuff.
But there is three quantum entangleorters. I'm going to take two of them right now. One is going to go on this side like that.

Oh, you don't have a to click it on each one. Okay, there you can hold shift in the newer version and it will do it for everything. But we want this specifically for gases and we'll say input from the left. It's not going to do anything cuz we need to set a frequency. Now, if I have a look, I think the output is going to be for oxygen right here. So, what I'll do is I'll call this one ox yen.
That one is now oxygen. And you are not.
Oh, yeah. You've gone in there. So, you can see there's uh wow, 500 millib buckets right there of oxygen. And then on this side, I'm going to do the same thing. So, I'm going to go through each one of these and turn them off, including this one.
And we'll go back and we'll put the proper side on gases. That one. And then here we can call this hydrogen.
That is now the hydrogen one. And these two should be going. And what we can do is say dumping excess on both. So now we've got a hydrogen and an oxygen quantum entangleorter. Now the third quantum entangler. I can use this for the hydrogen. Do I want to do it down here? I kind of want to keep my mech stuff together, but it's kind of cramped over here, isn't it? So, maybe I do want to do it down here. Okay.
Oh. Uh, we needed that hydrogen, I believe, for ethylene, didn't we? So, if we have a look, hydrogen, water, and bofuel. So, let's make a crusher.
I've done this so many times recently, but I love mechanism. I think it's fantastic. So, I'm quite happy to do it every single time, if I'm honest. So, let's plunk that one there. We're going to do this the opposite direction just because So, you're going to make some stuff to go in the pressurized reaction chamber.
Oh, nice. I actually set up a craft for it. Nice.
Now, we need two because do we need two or is it just the one? We need one to make the ethylene.
And then we take that ethylene and the substrate.
Uh, we should only need the one actually, but oh well. Anyway. Anyway, that's not where I wanted to put you.
Thank you. I'm going to put this one here. So, you're going to push into this. We're going to put this quantum inputter on the top.
You are going to be for hydrogen. And before I set that, I'm going to configure all the sides again. Again, it's really nice having the shift click to clear all of these because I don't want to accidentally like send a bunch of power through when I don't need to or heat or something like that. So, gases, we're going to output to the bottom auto eject. And we're going to say this one is set to hydrogen. So, now this has got hydrogen.
And what I can do is aquous accumulator. Yeah, aquous accumulator. These are quite expensive because they've got the box of diamonds, but we got loads of diamonds, so it's all good.

One of the biggest comments I got, I think, at the beginning of the series was, uh, you can use leaves to do this.

You need to go into like you need to pipe out basically and go into another one right here. This one substrate needs to go into another pressurized reaction chamber. That's where the second one comes in, right? Cuz it's got the liquid ethylene.
And before it does that, it needs to be liquid. So this one is going to output some ethylene gas ethylene into a decondensator. Decondentrator.

Condensator just sounds right to me. I don't know why, but yeah. Anyway, one of those as well. And then we can just make it. There we go. I'm not going to put it directly against it because I'm actually going to get a tank and it's going to be one of these tanks right here.

We're going to again get rid of all of the sidedness on actually all of these. Why not? Input output auto eject on. There we go. So, you're going to output your ethylene, yeah, the gas ethylene into here. You're going to instantly output it into the rotary condenser or condensator.
And then you have liquid ethylene, which is going to go into our other uh reaction chamber, which is going to go right there. And then we just need water for both. So, pipe.
You should have just enough. One, two, three. You just got a bunch of water in there. No, we didn't. Good. Right.
There you go. Sweet. So, that is now filling up with water. Uh, was it water that we needed in there? I could be wrong. Pressurized reaction chamber.
Reaction chamber. We're going to make a new one. I know you can probably like use a gauge dropper to get all the water out of it, but less hassle just to make a new one if I'm honest.
It's going to be my mechanic right there. So, that one comes in and then uh our ah we do need another quantum entangleter. Lovely stuff.
And what is nice about this is if I need hydrogen I can just make a quantum entangleter. Job done. We got it. I can set up a bunch of this stuff later. I don't think it works with like, you know, nuclear waste and stuff like that. I don't think that works. It might do. I don't think it does, though.
So, this one is going to go right on top. And again, we're going to have to do all of the that right there. So, we can say output auto output and then oxygen. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Delete. There you go. Thank you. So, you're outputting oxygen and you have just got to get a bunch of stuff in you. Right. So, let's grab a cheeky little flux point again and I'll put the flux point underneath.

Okay. I want to make liquid ethylene. So it needs to be on condensating which is what it's on right now because the other one is called de condens centrating piping neck cannot talk today. So now all we need to do is modular routter it and I could always make the bigger version of this the better version.
And this thing can go cross dimensions and everything but it doesn't have like a a radius a range on it. So I could just do that and then we can pop it up here.

I very nearly forgot that we also need another machine right on the end, which is the enrichment chamber. So, we're just waiting on that one to come in. And there it is. Grab a quickie cable. We put that one underneath.
So, the enrichment chamber will turn that HDP pellets that we're getting right here into the sheets, which is what we're looking for. Uh, I don't know if we need these pellets for anything else. Don't think we're going to need this rod. We're not going to do any pigment stuff. So, let's just do this.

Someone did say I should probably make the um the glass passive. I like that idea. You know, the the clear glass. You can do that. You just slap it with a bunch of uh sand. How we doing, by the way, on the material stonework factories. I didn't look earlier, but yeah, about about 9k, 5k, and yeah.
Yeah, not bad. Um I'm not going to use that over there. That is purely for crafting. I'm not using it for the uh you know the sifter the the civ big civ things lead us all over the place don't they? So for that one it was black iron so we can now make black iron easy enough.

That's going to take its time because obviously we have automated blood magic but it's just slow. So it's going to do its thing over here. There's been loads of suggestions on other ways that we can do this. Did you know that this gives a observer redstone pulse whenever it does like a change to anything? I didn't know that. So, that is going to be the plan. Ideally, later on at new Maticcraft, what we do want to go for is we want to go for a better air compressor. The flux one's pretty good because you can literally just Oh, you can buy these off villagers usually from pneumatic. That's usually how I try to do it. Uh, instead of making the finished PCBs cuz it's kind of a pain in the bum, I will admit. But we're not going to go for that one today. There you go. There's no like controller or anything for this. Uh, let's do We need two interfaces. We need an in and an out. And then we also need one valve, which you get four out of, but that's because later on these can be used in the assembly thingy to make the advanced pressure tube. You need the advanced pressure tube specifically to get yourself a flux compressor. So, we'll we'll look at those later. But the way I like to do this is if you place the one at the back first and then you you know what? Actually, I'm going to do it the other way around because I actually want the input to be on this side. So, blue is input. Blue is input right there. And then you can see on the other side there's an output and there's an output on this side as well.
Hopefully that makes sense. And then finally, we need somewhere.
There we go. We need somewhere for the uh for the pressure to go. Now, what we do 1, two, three. Cuz there's three machines right here. If we right click on this thing, you can put a security upgrade in there. It can only go up to five.
And if I remember correctly, you place a way. Perfect. That's what we want to see. We can do that. And then I think the burnables we were using is we're going to make make use of this.
Yeah. Make use of some blaze blaze rods cuz we got, you know, blazes coming in as well. So, this thing is, as you can see, is on on jade. It tells you the pressure. It says it right here as well.
But it is going up. It is now 0.2 0.22 23 2 4 so on and so on. So the plan with this is you can actually uh you can set stuff into here and it will yeah use the pneumatic craft stuff. So you can put in a block of iron as long as you're above two not. But two bars of pressure, you can convert iron blocks into blocks of compressed iron.
And it's, as I said, lossless. Said that in the last episode. You can also uh it's a cheaper way of getting packed ice if you want to do that. Blue ice as well.

Oh, that's pretty cool. You can do the uh Yeah, you can do the compressed.
Although that's a higher higher level right there. You can make some compressed stone. This is how you get that etching acid and you need the etching acid. This stuff, this stuff right here, uh, you need it for the etching tank, which then gets used the unasssembled PCBs and stuff, but we we really don't need that because I'm going to try and get a villager. Um, sure there's a way of getting a villager in this pack. That's how you get the empty PCBs. I always try and cheese this bit because it just makes sense. You can also apply some enchantments onto your stuff.
Now, this is the one that we really want right there. The advanced crafting table. So, any other really decent Oh, you need it later on for the infinity infinity fives. You get 45 out of it. Oh, but you need flipping heck.
Wow. Okay. Uh, that one needs three tier twos. and make a tier two, you need these different ones right here, don't you? So that that's like one, two, three. So you need three. So basically, you need nine to get the infinity ingot mark three. And then that will get you the mark 4. And then to get the mark five, you need two stacks of those.
So that's nine 18 stacks of tier ones to get a tier five. Is this the only way to get the tier five multi-ervey?
