AGBOR IKA PEOPLE DON’T IDENTIFY AS IGBOAdded:
For the 1 million time, Agbor does not identify as Igbo.
I'm telling you categorically because I am from Agbor. I'm from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, and I can tell you that my name is Ondoku.
In fact, it's pronounced Ondoku in my own dialect, but when you go to the Igbos, they say na Onduka.
Do you understand? That doesn't make me an Igbo. I can tell you I am from Agbor.
We have an Igbo heritage. That is true.
We also have a Bini heritage cuz there are some names that our people bear that resemble sounds like Bini. Most names we bear sounds Igbo, but that doesn't make me an Igbo. Fine, there are people that if you start crossing from Issele-Uku going ahead like to nearing Asaba, you can Some of those people identify [music] as Igbos like they they [singing] they they are closer. But you see, when it comes to like my place, Agbor, we know we know we know say we no be Igbo. And it's so annoying and so crazy that another person go won't come to educate me. They tell me say your history your history. Are you crazy? I'm from the place.
And I'm telling you that I am not from Wait a WHAT IS GOING ON?
And then you you people now say we are confused. We don't know where we are from. It be like when Edo people go come claim us say, "Okay, you people are also Edo." We know our heritage. We are not from Igbo.
Calm down. What I want do all this una political toss. Una go start to dey draw tribal stupid nonsense una dey do.
For the 1 million time, an Agbor man does not identify as Igbo. I don't know any Agbor man that I do will tell you I'm from I'm an I'm an I'm Igbo. I don't know [music] any. He wake up from the place and they try educate you. You dey tell me say me no know where You people are You people are crazy.
Somebody comes out to say that his child does [music] not identify as Igbo. And all the Igbos in my comment section are crying.
>> [music] >> What is the crying for?
What do you people want to use us for?
What is the issue here? What are we fighting for? What are we here for?
The Abakaliki people born in states that they grouped you people together. I stayed in the East. You people still used to say they are not really Igbos.
You say you get them most of [music] the times to say I I am not from the Igbo.
Now, you people want to come all the way down to the South to come and claim us. I no understand.
And it's only the Igbo people that will tell you that you people Why you no want drag us? What is What is the What is the issue? This is not We are not even fighting. We are not doing anything. But I'm tired of when conversation comes up, people they will start telling you that you don't know your history. Easy easy It's annoying.
Can we rest?
