[00:05:21]So, whenever you go to like a barbecue place in the Philippines, they'll give you uh calamansi and chili pepper. And what you do is you mix it with this uh with soy sauce. And it's like a it's like a dipping sauce. It's really good. And it's spicy. I always crush the chili pepper so it's even spicier. I'm going to do it now before my food comes so I can eat right away.

[00:05:43]Okay. So, it's how it looks uh before I add the soy sauce in it. And I'll add the soy sauce now.

[00:05:54]And this is how it looks once it's done.

[00:05:56]The uh perfect dipping sauce for barbecue. And I usually get pork barbecue, but I wanted to try uh the chicken pa atchu. Whenever I come here, I would always just get spicy pork barbecue, but might as well try something new. I'm really hungry here, so All right, and my my durian shake came. Since I'm here in Davao, you got to got to have some durian. I never had a durian shake. I did try durian at um Magsaysay uh long time ago.

[00:06:27]Definitely tastes like durian.

[00:06:31]Mhm. Now, if you never had durian before, it has a really strong scent to it. Um I don't even know how to describe it. It's almost like garlic or something, but more pungent. And when it's in a fruit, which is sweet, it's like kind of a weird combo, but once you taste it, it's good. It's got like a custardy texture, too, but the flavor is really good for me, at least.

[00:06:53]It's hard to describe the flavor of durian even, but it is really good. If you come to Davao, you have to try durian, or even anywhere in the Philippines, you should try durian cuz back in the US, it's extremely difficult to find.

[00:07:05]And maybe it's because it smells so strong, I don't know. But it's not an easy fruit to find in the US, so come here to Davao, try some durian, whether it's the fresh durian or a durian shake.

[00:07:15]I recommend it. And I know some people can't get over the smell. I've even met some people from here in Davao who don't like it, so it's not for everyone, but I like balut, too, so I guess uh I'm just different. I don't know.
