Successful trading requires understanding two fundamental pillars: time (market sessions) and price (market structure). The three major trading sessions are Asian (3:00 AM), London (10:00 AM), and New York (3:00 PM), with the first 2 hours of London and first 3 hours of New York being optimal trading windows. Market structure analysis involves identifying bullish patterns (higher highs and higher lows) or bearish patterns (lower highs and lower lows) using the 4-hour time frame as the baseline. For optimal entry points, traders use Fibonacci retracement levels (61.8%, 78%, and 100%) to identify discount zones for buying and premium zones for selling. Consistency in showing up for trading sessions and executing according to plans, rather than trying to predict market movements, is essential for long-term profitability.

I've already done my introduction.
Uh so uh welcome everyone.
have a very good trade hopper on gold.
We may focus more on Euro USD, GBUSD and XY but is a gentleman also with a leather jacket profitable.
So this guy is doing a very good job in our community on gold.
If you look at some of the trades that uh he has been given there very informed man I'm a specialized gold so such people uh we really appreciate you know the efforts and you're going to be learning more we would love more even to learn on uh on your approach on gold everything that's why you even have a board here today uh we going to be using that to of course trade. Uh so guess uh if you have not ordered something please know the events very consistent man and then we have of course our brothers and some few guys who are just getting started from the experiences for 3 years, some 2 years markets for 3 years something to work with and they good to go. So there are those stages that you have to go through as a trader. You have first to start learning most people because if you look at the learning phase most people don't know where to start learning from or who to look up to. That's why we have like such events.
We come we learn from people who are at least are doing great in the financial markets. So uh the learning phase is the most important but people try to bypass that. Africans, but we never want to invest in education especially men at least, you know. But for men aggressive, you want to strategy and tomorrow and you end up like losing money. So, uh sometimes aggressive is good because it pushes you but aggressive uh without without a good risk then it might end up messing you up. That we are going to be focusing on today is a a system. A system a working system.
A working system. If you are able to analyze your charts well for markets uh then you increase your probabilities of winning. But how do you increase your probabilities without a system that you follow every single day and something that we talk mostly even in our podcast?
We talk about consistency.
So consistency in a in so many ways.
First, are you consistent like showing up for chats every single day? Because you can't fail if you try every day.
But whatever you're doing, there is that one that you will win. But if you don't show up, so consistency first in terms of do you show up like every single day?
H that now a question that you can answer on and off on and off now that you just stagnant but the moment I would say to lock in and do something that's when you see progress so first you need to be consistent in showing up for trading it's not easy but with time it's a habit to you show up without even nobody pushing you Now second thing you can be consistent but you're doing the wrong thing right. So are you consistent uh doing the right thing and now doing the right thing trading is not only about uh it's not only about having trades or making money.
It's about the habits. Habits they are really going to contribute a lot to your profitability.
a graph of time against price.
So, uh the scale on this time and then the scale on this price this looks inverted. You trade in trading view not this but this. So, you have a graph of time against price. Now, now something that most traders don't consider is this time here.
We start talking of strategies, different trading strategies.
For example, trade strategic.
>> ICT.
>> Mhm.
>> So, it's a mixture of ICT and SMC.
>> Yes. Uhhuh.
Made >> support and resistance. Neo Max strategy.
>> Now that's good name of the strategy but we know what we are doing. That's what really matters a lot. I call my refin but it's more of a selling point this is one shot one kill one kill so one thing that we really need to consider some high impact news on the US I have something that I'm looking at by the end of the day points of interest. So something that I need us to really be keen on before the foundation of every strategy is the foundation of every every strategy as a hypocr because we have people who are having different strategies that's now when it comes to price. So price is equals to strategies.
Don't worry about my handwriting. And then time is going to equal to what?
Time is time. Time is time. New York Kenya whatever time is time. Now here time is going to equal to sessions.
So the foundation of every strategy should be on these two things the time and the price.
So we can when you talk about time we are talking about sessions.
In this case we have how many major sessions?
Three new we have Asian which is the first station we have London and we have New Yorkh when does this session open and the opening of the session is the most important thing to you as a trader the close does not really matter but the open that's the most the most important thing Now Asian session the current time 3:00 a.m.
3:00 a.m. The close we don't really care about the clothes. London session.
Yes. Time 10:00 a.m. Now this is in Kenyan time.
Then you have New York session. New York session time.
Yes. 3 p.m. new. So you have 3 p.m.
SA we are going to base our strategies based on this first.
Now the most important thing happen whenever you are trading uh please make sure please make sure that you are considering now this one we repeat during all our sessions. Consider the first two hours.
Now in this case we are going to be looking at uh that guy is a good trader in our discord. A very young a very young guy but doing amazing job.
So we are saying we want to consider the first 2 hours of London and then the first 3 hours of New York what's happened our timing now this is mostly for currencies but we gold 3 a.m. gold is doing uh good and it has been doing that for the last like 3 years. So uh especially now on currencies we're talking about this we need to consider the first 2 hours of London and the first 3 hours of New York.
I talk this out of experience. Trade trade London.
How do you have guys here who trade London like full time? Every time you are in for a trade for London session now from you William for London session when what time do you trade and at the same time when do you close your trades the London when do you close them?
>> I see. So London session what happens?
Um, usually normally between >> can you can you maybe explain >> between your strategy in London how you trade?
>> Hey Jesus on the spot.
>> Yes. But what happens between >> just a simple illustration to >> what what normally happens is as London is opening I'm already in a most likely in a trade right so between your model value whatever >> I see.
>> Yes.
>> Okay. So to keep but to keep it very simple so what I'm looking at is key levels or POIs on um 1 hour and 15 minutes right then my entries are on the 5 minute or the 2 minute lower time frame. So every single day I'd potentially find a setup.
So before London opens, I'll be looking for where price is currently at. If price is almost or in a key level of mine, a 15 minute or a 1 hour zone. I'm waiting for a sweep of liquidity and an entry on that sweep, right? Is what I'm looking at. Then I'm targeting the opposite side of it. So what usually happens every day, Asia, as Nick has said, Asia now is very aggressive and moves a lot. So by the time we're waking up, maybe 6:00 7:00 a.m. I'm on the charts. price is potentially at a key key level of mine right so if this is a key level potentially okay my handwriting is worse than nicks so bear with me so if price has been coming here assuming this is Asia session okay this could be maybe let's call it Asia high potentially and this the the box that I have here is the the price range between the open of Asia to the close of Asia it's potent essentially that box right then that is where price is so as Frankfurt transitions into London session I'll be looking for price to potentially come and take out the liquidity that is sitting up here which is Asia liquidity right so then this is maybe London is opening at 10:00 a.m. So maybe we're in the charts at 7:38 we're watching price action between 9 and 10:00 a.m. A lot of uh volume is coming into the market. So price will be a bit aggressive. So as price starts moving faster, I'll be looking for price to sweep Asia highs here. Okay, assuming today is a selling day. Once price takes out this liquidity, I know there's with the volume that's there, price might want to again reverse now to to the opposite side. Okay, so that's kind of what I'm looking for. Of course, with confirmations and all that jazz. So once that liquidity has been taken, if I have a POI potentially that's sitting over here or is within that zone, okay, price sweeps, that liquidity takes out any early sellers and I'm looking to jump in aggressively cuz I'm an aggressive trader in that. Once that liquidity is taken out, I wait for my confirmations and then I take in a sell entry and target the opposite side. opposite side being could be Asia low or another higher time frame POI on the downside.
So that's a sell version of kind of the strategy I'm looking at. Nick asked the question on when I'm in the when am I taking my entries most of the time what I like about London session because it's early in the morning for us. So by 910 p.m. I'm already in a trade. Okay?
Because I'm taking my entries in the lower time frame, 2 minute, 5 minute.
In 2 hours, by midday, I'm either at stop loss or TP. So, it's quite fast cuz what works for me is quick feedback, right? Um, so by midday, I'm done. On a day like maybe today or on some days when there's high impact news, sometimes once I've taken my entry, because again, two things would three things could happen. one instant stop loss potentially price is heading towards my stop. The other thing is price could be heading towards my TP. The third thing could be price now starts ranging as we progress throughout the day.
If price is ranging, if it's midday, maybe 1 p.m., 2 p.m., I haven't hit stop loss or TP, then the other next best thing of which I like about trading London is that New York open, the volatility that comes in with New York will now drive price towards whichever one of those directions. Again, my job here or our job here as traders is not to be correct or right, is to execute according to our plans and then let the market do its thing.
So if we sat through out the day, New York open I know will push my will push my trade towards my stop loss or my TP sometimes usually TP sometimes stop loss but what I love about it again is that because of the high volatility that's coming in at New York if price is going towards my TP if I was targeting a 1 is to three now I can have an open TP if not I can still push my TP to maybe a four or five or six and then maximize on the potential of New York open pushing price even further towards TP and you know have a big winning uh run.
Nick, have I answered your question?
Potentially. Yes. That's amazing. It's amazing.
I see profits. I take screenshots especially I love holding my trades. So the average trade length of my trading account around 6 hours uh or 4 hours. So London opens at 10. If I hold this trade for 6 4 hours that means I'm jumping over to New York session. So every time I try holding you in a reverse and you end up like messing your day. So that's why I no longer like focus so much on London and the fact that I focus only on USD pairs. USDPS will perform best during New York time.
So based on this that you are learning time and the price. But now before we go to that we need to to get just one basic one basic thing.
So to sha you consider the first two hours for London that is according to this system and consider the first 3 hours for New York session and which strategies can you use to be able to come up with a very good price uh to buy or to be selling from because either buying or you're selling.
So we have a scale here. Let's say we have we have a market which is buying.
So uh when you have a market who is buying this is now what we referring to as structure you are able to understand read and understand the structure. So for example in this case this is a bullish structure whenever you see a bullish structure a high another high comes down another high another high come a year. So these are high highs and on the low you have lower highs. That's a bullish structure. very simple things some classes last week. So we sh most of these things but now we want to come up with a way of uh getting the best prices to be buying from and the best prices to be selling from.
Basic economics in a buyers want to buy at a lower price sellers want to sell at a higher price. That's how every business works. You buy low so that you can sell when prices are high.
So we take a a very good example of we want to buy into a market. So we have already identified the structure. This is a bullish structure. Yes.
Yes. We understand. So uh we are learning on how to read price and time and price. We have already done time. your time simply to me. You you have to understand the sessions which session that you are trading and you're considering the first two or 3 hours of when the session has opened come you want to consider trading during that particular that particular time and the reason for that actually is when the sessions open that's when you see volume kicking in London I mean volume will kick in during those sessions when they are opening. So that's why we want to take advantage of that because sometimes you're going to take a trade I have to trade in a car before it's long in a car for hours at your entry point between your entry and your stop loss. Now that is not good for your psychology. So the best thing is trade it's either you taken out or you make money. Now that way it makes your trading very easy and the best way to do that is now to consider trading during the right time. So you have to know what you're trading and the best time to be trading that particular asset that you're trading. So now coming to price you have to understand the structure of the market and just by the look of the eyes told you if this thing is selling or I'm buying in this case use the 4 hours 4 hours time frame it will ever give it will always give you the the best uh or the the correct structure of that market.
If you lower time frame but for structure start with 4 hour then I can go down refining on lower time frames. 4 is our basic uh is our basic time frame for starting our analysis.
Ah now coming down to this about structure bullish. Now bullish structure means you're simply going to be looking to buy for your market. You're simply looking to buy from uh uh a good point of interest. So how do you come up with these areas where you're going to be buying from?
Now here we use a very good tool from this low to this high. We going to put a tool trading view. So we have to set it kilome uh from from their sides. We have to use a tool which is known as a fib tool fibonaci levels.
So you're using our fib tool to identify the best areas to be buying from.
So the fib tool runs from uh zero all the way to 100. Runs from 0 to 100. So we want to put our fib tool from down here to this high.
It will be something like this.
Then we have one. So search levels.
So uh let's say this is zero. This is uh like 50%.
This is 61.8%.
We have another another one here which is 78% and we have 100%.
So we want to set our level trading view. Uh and then we want to set it levels 0 50 to 50 we want to remain with 61 78 and 100%.
Now we going to do that practically what you are saying. So for us to buy we want to see prices come at a discount. In this discount the 61 to 78% that's a zone 78 to 100% that's another zone. So instead buying between zone zone this zone between 61 78 we refer to this as a discount optimal trade entry. This is the zone.
And then here we have what he refer to as the extreme level extreme here 78 to 100%.
So it's either you're buying here or you're buying right in most price are going to be buying 761 78 that's the best zone for you to be buying.
Now laptop if you have a laptop close to you then uh make sure that you can see it and then we are going to set that tool.
So by the time you come out of this place you have a system it's a simple one then you go try using that.
Do you have an empty seat? No empty seat.
Mhm.
We set our fib tools.
We set the fib tools back in levels 61, 78, and 100%.
Yes.
So, it's something like this one here.
reta.
So now you need to set it.
So you set it like this and then you remove you remove this one.
remove this one.
So from the back there are two levels uh prices as a percentage like that.
So you have 0 61 78 and 100.
>> Okay.
Bakuna 0.61 1 0.7 5ini we are going to remove the prices then the level you put it as a percentage then you press okay. So there you go.
>> You have your popping burning like this. Checking my wrist is my shing all night like flex.
Look at the clips. These credits are lit. Stacking miles. I'm far away from home. I got what I wish for. Taking that risk. I'm checking my list. Marathon man is legit. Can't let it slip when it's all in my grip. Talking too much. He probably not all that I did. Calls I miss time I spent. Yeah, that's that blood swe out of the mud. Roughly get picked up like a truck when in the clutch that is a must. Wake up, get to it. Ain't nothing about it. The only way to it is to no way around it. We cruising like the Caribbean with mileage. I'mma always be solid. I'm a young brother with knowledge. Go do the science dog. Always I'm like a pilot dog. Look at my eyes.
I'm tired. The time that it takes, I made for the space. Got to build my empire. I make sales, not a buy. You don't compare.
Oh, stack it up till it can't f in a row. Huh? I just did 10 in a row.
Huh? I just did 10. Got to go. Huh?
Stack it up till it can't f in a row. Huh? I just did 10 in a row.
Huh? I just did.
I'm sure you have all been there.
Maybe should it be Asian? You find maybe Asia is not moving. Maybe it's London for you. Maybe it's New York for you. Um maybe it's January, maybe it's um December for you.
Um so market seasonality.
Um I want to I'm so bad at this.
Uh okay. So this is the right definition of market seasonality. Um it refers to the tendency of financial markets to to move in certain patterns during specific times of the year, quarter, month, week, day or session.
Um so for those who have been trading long enough you understand that the markets are very volatile and sometimes times they are not volatile. For example someone who has been in the market for long. There is an event that usually happens each and every year around August and baby pips. um they classify they classify that like maybe uh January to uh March they give the volatility for that April they say it's a bad month to trade um the volatility for May maybe up to July is mid um August bad month and then uh September to October it's also a good month and then December they call it the profit taking season uh and holiday season so people usually parent on their trading desk. So things are a bit calm. So no much volatility in the market. Um I don't know if someone has ever traded through August and can tell me how the price action of August looks like. There is usually um an event that happens in August. Um it's called the Jackson Hall Symposium. Um it's whereby the um chairmans of all the central banks um meet and discuss about monetary monetary policies. Has anyone of you ever heard of that?
Oh, thank you. Um so especially during that time because it's not a one day event.
um it's usually prolonged for 2 weeks and then from there upon if the Fed will cut the rates from September um it gives a a good definition of what is going to be happening um with the central banks.
So during that seasonal the markets in Akuanga it's like it's at a at a hold high move it's just there it's accumulating and when we were I there was a time we gave a lecture to Kipiana how the market um moves um it's a MD Um so I guess we have had this lecture those who have been joining Nick um to me all the other strate strategies involved um this is uh for ICT this is this is how price distributes um accumulation manipulation distribution continuation or reversal um continuation or reversal it's or vice versa Sir, continuation or reversal, accumulation, manipulation, distribution. True, sir.
>> Michael was a good teacher.
>> I um when you get when you distribute there must some something else must happen. Um either the price will retrace or will continue. So that's the X find X.
So usually you are finding eggs most of the times but uh you can you can you don't want to be trading here at the accumulation levels because where are you trading and the market is accumulating um so this market seasonality it's not a guide I I wouldn't much about it I would love you to go and do your own research on it so that at least um you do your own due diligence. Um it is not out of randomness that I chose to talk about this. So please go and look about it's everywhere. It's in baby pips because if you being spoonfed you will never get things important to note down those things. Who is the new ched? Who is the new fed chair?
Who is the new fed chair?
Huh?
Thank you. By the way, it's important.
Come. It's important to be engaged with the environment you are working with.
What are you doing? Because if you meet a doctor within 1 minute. So it is important to familiarize yourself with this environment.
It's not something out of the blue and to take your time read invest in education into our boot camp. I I hope they would tell us how it go how how they uh you on day one.
I'm not trying to scare you.
Um I'm just telling you that you're in the right environment.
um you will be taken care of with a fundual risk management, trade executions, um psychology.
It takes a lot to be a trader. It's not just about pressing a buy and a sell button. It takes a lot.
We want to check.
So it's um time a very important factor um time is it time against price I don't want to talk about this P I want to talk about this time and time me no action but IC you let time do all the heavy lifting And that is a very strong statement because it won't work eventually. It won't work out next week. You think it will work out next week?
Might but. But probabilities probabilities.
It is not always guaranteed. That's the point. So time in the market is an important factor. Time for yourself, how you structure your time as a trader.
um time in terms of in terms of the market and the price general it's important. You could have been anywhere but you chose to be here with you with us. That is very important. So you're in profit. can see how happy you are.
Uh so thank you very much. Um and just to say it's not a brag. Um by the way I've had a couple of coffee and trades.
Um we are so much humbled.
Have you noticed that in most of our coffee and trades?
So at least but also losses are guaranteed. So it's also important to know that um don't video me.
So, hello. My name is We have been We've been taught a lot of things today. We've learned just about enough. know for a day I would encourage people who are new to this FX thing you can come and learn more come and connect with people come and get to know from the people who have understood the charts well personally I have gained something in fact I've even gained money because we left a trade and it has gone to our direction so we appreciate such events and I would welcome everyone to take their time, great time, come and connect with people who understand well.
>> Hi. Um, so the event was fantastic. Um, it was very nice to connect and socialize with a group and uh it's very homely because uh we are we are likeminded all of us.
