The trading card industry operates on a complex allocation system where distributors assign limited product quantities to stores, creating scarcity that drives up prices. When products become highly demanded, stores must pay higher rebuy prices to replenish their inventory, which forces them to increase retail prices to maintain profit margins. This creates a cycle where popular products become increasingly expensive over time, and stores must balance customer satisfaction with business survival by making calculated pricing decisions.

CNC BREAKSAdded:
What is up everybody?
How is everyone doing tonight?
How is everyone doing?
All right. So ladies and gentlemen, we have quite a few breaks that are very very close.
That will be very exciting.
So hopefully we can get a few of them uh moving nicely.
All right. So, it looks like we have two left in the Fanatics. That'll be the closest one as of right now.
So hopefully we can get that bad boy rolling and hopefully everyone's doing well today.
So let me know.
All right. So, the Fanatics is down to two. That's probably the closest one.
So, let me know.
We want to get the ball rolling on that.
and hopefully we can get a couple more going after that.
So, we got we got quite a few breaks that are uh 10 and under or very close to 10.
So, that'll be interesting.
So let me know.
All right.
So once again, just let me know which break you guys would like to get going first. Obviously, the Fanatics is by far the closest.
Uh hoping we can have a fun evening.
All right.
All right.
Looks like it's down to one left.
Only one.
All right, there we go. One to go.
All right, there we go. Down to one.
And it looks like we might be down to none.
So I think 336 will be the first break.
There we go. Thank you guys and girls for getting that one uh filled up.
All right. So, I think we will be good to go. Give me a few minutes.
All right.
All right, let me get the show rolling, ladies and gentlemen. I appreciate you guys uh getting this one done. Here we go. 25,336 three times. One, two, big three.
One, two, three.
Copy paste. Copy paste.
And we'll see what we get out of this bad boy.
Also, as I said, we do have the uh the fun premiere break that if we don't get the mega patch, I will drop the price on the next one.
So, the whole point of that one, guys, is to have a little fun and maybe we can save some dollars in the next few.
And also, let's not be oblivious to the fact that it is one of the better products of 2425.
So that alone is a big plus factor.
So if we can get a few more spots in there going, that would be beautiful.
All right, but let's get this one rolling, ladies and gentlemen. Wish you guys all the best of luck. Here we go.
25,336 the jersey volume number two.
All right.
Whoa.
Sweet. Well, I think we know who this guy is.
I think we know who this guy is.
We've got an autographed jersey for the Chicago Blackhawks.
Conor Bard.
Well, then that is a great one to get. Congrats, Chicago.
Don't know if anyone in the room has Chicago, but uh that is a phenomenal way to start your evening.
Not bad to get up a dark jersey.
for $49.
Wow.
Bard, baby.
Probably save the best one so far. We still have more coming in. So, At least we're hoping the more comes in.
But congratulations whoever had Chicago.
That is a pretty sizable win. So, all right. So, ladies and gentlemen, let's keep that uh hitting streak going.
This premiere has a very fun game attached to it.
If we don't hit a mega patch, I will be posting another one at $2 cheaper.
So let me know.
>> Who would like to get the ball going?
So, let me know which other break you would like to get going.
All right.
So once again, let me know, ladies and gentlemen, which other break you would like to get going.
So again let me know ladies and gentlemen Happy to do the premiere. Happy to do the ultimate. Happy to do platinum.
All right.
As I say, Clear Cuts under 10, Premier's at 10, ultimate at 10, Platinum's at 10.
We have quite a few.
All right.
>> Uh, they're going up tomorrow.
I'll, uh, Uh, I actually I'll talk to Dan. Maybe I'll get him up tonight, but I think it's going to be tomorrow.
So, by the way, Platinum is now down to nine left.
Looks like we're moving nicely on that one.
Yeah, no worries.
I feel like uh PL or extended is going to be interesting because the hype around it is by far the most I've seen on an extended product ever and the hype around the product in general is argu arguably the biggest I've seen.
>> So it will be interesting.
to be honest how well it performs. I hope it does phenomenal.
>> By the way, Platinum is at nine left.
So, who else would like to close that one down?
And the series 1, series 2 dual break is down to 12 left.
So that one's also getting mighty close.
So again, just let me know.
All right.
>> So, once again, ladies and gentlemen, only nine left in the platinum.
>> If we can get a few more people ready to rock and roll on that, that would be phenomenal.
We'll see how the day goes today. But, uh, I'm hoping we can get a few more going.
All right. So, once again, let me know.
Happy to try to get the platinum going, the ultimate going, the premiere going.
Any and all those brakes will be great.
So easily you can get a couple more going.
All right.
All right. So, let me know once again.
Out of curiosity, for those who are actually listening right now, the uh the big Schaefer Emerald PMG is ending in 1 hour and 10 minutes. What do you guys think that's actually going to go for?
Uh what's it at now? Let me see.
It looks like uh US 4451, but I don't think it's moved in like 3 4 days.
the snipers. Yeah, I'm just very anxious to see what that's going to go for because that's a pretty sizable card.
Is the price of extended going up? Oh, yeah.
Super. It's It's already pretty much at at most places that we've seen.
>> The low that we've seen roughly is around two. The majority is around 220 and I've seen some in Canada around 240.
The US is a different animal. I don't know what they're doing, but they're at like 300 or 350.
So, realistically, you're you're probably 2 to 220 is going to be where you're going to see this pretty commonly, I think, in Canada, which is a hell of a lot better than US.
That's really Sorry. What's really annoying, Abby?
And guys, just so you guys know, and girls obviously when I ask you like what you're saying, for example, >> it's because like sometimes it's delayed on the writing. So, I do apologize if I'm asking questions that seems obvious.
Um, Abby, honestly, the way unfortunately I can tell you a way it works for us. We actually had um I can't remember a decent amount of it.
A decent amount of it for pre-sale at 150.
>> The thing is, we just blew through our allocation. It literally took, I think, two days.
But that's the issue that uh and again this is just an ongoing issue with every store is the ongoing issue that every single store pretty much deals with right now is that they're getting allocated on products.
Yeah, you like to have a day of Oh, I agree with you. Definitely. Uh definitely better.
The thing is though, and and this is what should not be surprising to a lot of people.
And don't get me wrong, guys, I was a collector myself for 15 years before I open a store. So, I've seen both sides of this.
Dan, did the other guy buy a graded card or did he buy the uh Allure?
Oh. anyone there.
>> Oh, did he?
>> Nice.
>> Okay, nice.
>> It It's just funny though because it always seems like people have the biggest unhappiness on products that are the most like I've honestly I don't think I've seen this much demand or this many people asking about a product in a very long time.
Like extended's been a different animal like that.
>> Your LC is at 200. There you go. See, I'm not just blowing smoke, Abby.
And I can tell you, I'll tell you why, Abby, and I'll tell everyone else this.
And again, this is not uh an unfair thing. This is just a because every store has the ability to buy or not to buy, right? On on the next value, but what ends up happening is like we'll get a certain amount and then once it goes through, then we have to reby it. And the problem is if the reby price is $50 higher, then you have to jack it up a bit more.
Oh, no. I agree. It's It's It's funny though, Abby, because also as a store, I see how many the differences between, for example, hockey and the differences between like other sports.
Apparently Dan doesn't close my door.
>> Thanks Dan.
>> Um, you know what, Abby, the thing is, yeah, you're definitely right, Abby.
Most people do. Actually, sorry, I won't say most. I'll say about 30%. 30% do blame us. But here's the realistic thing and here's where I want everyone to maybe think differently for future is let's not look at extended or series 2 where it's a little more deeper of a product. Let's look at something like SPX.
>> There's a lot of dealers and this is I want you to hopefully change the way you guys think about this and I'm giving sympathy to dealers. There's a lot of dealers, for example, on something like 25 26 SPX that genuinely might only get one or two cases.
And again, I'm going to throw out random numbers, guys. So, do not these mean nothing. They're not quoted. I'm just I'm explaining how it goes. So, let's say he gets the two cases and he pays $150 a box. He's probably going to sell it about$1701 180 somewhere around there. Okay.
The problem is is to some stores they're going you know what I only Dan >> like one of these guys might go in and be like I only have two cases. So let's just say it's 20 boxes total that he can make 20 bucks a box on.
>> So he's going to make $400.
And on average, a product comes out every two weeks for hockey.
>> So, I hope you guys realize when stores need to do well, like sometimes those stores go, "Well, you know what? I only have two cases of this. Sorry, I'm going to charge $1.99 because I need to make a bit more >> to survive essentially."
And then I can tell you what happens is when that store inevitably sells his two cases >> and just say his original cost is 150, he'll go back. The distributor might have moved it up because maybe he bought more, maybe he had to buy other stuff, but maybe he's now paying 185.
So the store has a decision. Does he want to buy more at 185? Or does he not?
And the thing is then that 199 price goes out of the window. So now he's got to sell for just say 209 or 219.
>> Like I can tell you right now very bluntly our distributor in Canada is by far the distri biggest distributor in the world.
The only 24 25 products he has are Synergy Metal Parker Champions I believe. That's it.
So, I literally cannot get any more cup premiere ultimate. Uh I'm trying to think of any other stuff. Platinum uh stature diamond SBA series 2.
So, >> it's it's one of those things that uh that's why some stores you see a massive variety of pricing nowadays because you're not getting a lot.
So cabin right now in Canada for the most part it's pretty allocated.
So pretty much every store gets an allocated amount and we just get told what we get and then we we get what we get. You can obviously move the number down if you don't like the number.
But very rarely can you move it up. And if you can move it up, it's not a big move up. It's just like let's say you get, for example, two cases, maybe you can get like five extra boxes type thing. It's not like you can go from two cases to like 10.
But the way we do it, for example, where it does benefit to be honest is we have three different arms of sales, right? We have online, we have in store, and we have group breaks.
And for sake of easy numbers, so for example, let's just say for example, we have 30 cases of product. I'll put 10 10 10 across the board. Where that's nice is for example like things like Premiere. Premiere, you know, we have some available group breaks at a pretty aggressive rate.
Like I I would encourage you guys, for example, on Premiere is a great example.
I am doing the Premiere boxes at $630 a box.
We have them on our site, I believe, for seven or 750.
Let me double check just to make sure I'm not spewing it.
Yeah, we have it.
We had it on our site for 750.
So, uh is a distributor creating artificial supply? No. Cavin, you know what ended up happening? The problem is is that when you have, let's just say, 500 stores in Canada for sake of conversation again, just random numbers.
And by the way, if I ever tell you guys random like if I say numbers, always presume it's just random numbers unless you directly ask me. So that way it's easy for you guys to understand. But let's say there's 500 stores. The problem is is when stuff gets hot, let's just say the first five products of the year, artifacts, OPG came out really, really hot. You'll get a ton of stores going, you know what? Instead of two cases, I want seven.
But what you guys don't realize is if every store lifted up five cases and there's 500 stores, that's two and a half thousand cases more in just Canada.
Now the other fun game that we have to play, Upper Deck normally builds a product 9 months to 12 months in advance.
So what happens is when a product gets uh a year gets super hot, they can't correct the numbers.
So if there was only 3,000 SPX cases produced, it's not like they can magically two months before the release go, let's produce 6,000.
So the issue is if everyone got what they wanted, it genuinely would be sold out and like there would be stores who would get zero.
So that is what you see is that's why there's not much movement.
And honestly, I will tell you, I know there's positive, negatives, it's it's a healthier system right now than it's ever been in my opinion, but there's definitely like it's hard to move up. Like, if you're a brand new store, it's hard to move up.
But I can tell you the way that you do find ways to move up is that you have to buy from your distributor and help them out, too. buy stuff that they can't move very well. Because if all everyone's after is only the hottest stuff, why would you like and you don't want a lot of the small stuff? Like you get a lot of dealers, I'll tell you this straight up. You get a lot of dealers who will straight up be like, "I'll take three boxes of MVP, but I would like 100 cases of cup." It's like, well, yeah, but that's not how it works.
like where we made our big stand and this is like a decade ago is I used to I always called myself like the garbage cleanup guy like the garbage man for my distributor is I was never one of those guys who would just be Hey, I need more cup. Please ship it to me. What it literally would be is, hey, if you can give me five more cases of cup, I will take, and again, hypothetical products. I will take 10 cases of your synergy. Can we make this work? And I'll pay you both at full price. Can we make this work?
Mhm.
Golden. It blows my mind, man.
It genuinely blows my mind.
Like, here's the thing, and I'm going to give you guys some fun facts, okay?
Like, no BS fun facts.
Let's say a dealer got three cases of SPX. So, let's say it's uh 20 boxes for sake conversation.
That's 60. Okay.
Let's just say he makes $40 a box.
So, he made $25,000 on a product that let's say he sold out in a day.
Now, let's say that said dealer does not get any more in. So, he's made his 2 and a half grand on SPX.
Most people pay two to three,000 uh a month on rent most if not more. Okay, so that's already gone.
Generally, there's two products a month that comes out. So, let's just say for the sake of conversation that person did that twice. So, he made 5,000. Let's say he paid 3,000 on rent. He's now down to 2,000. He hasn't paid himself. And let's be honest, a thousand bucks every two weeks, let's just say that's very reasonable, which it would be like un like that's ridiculously low. But there's your five grand gone. And now he hasn't even bought anything else for his store. He hasn't done anything else.
He's got no other staff.
So what you have to understand is that when you run a business is sometimes stores have to make the calculated decision to charge more. It always aggravates me why people get so mad when a store wants to charge a bit more for a single or something. It's like they have bills to pay.
You know, other places don't.
And then what you hear, you hear collectors kind of get upset because there's no stores locally to them. And you wonder why. It's because it's not easy to run a business because a you need a lot of upfront money. Because if you want a lot of product, you need a lot of money to start.
And B, it's not like right now a guy can come in and get 30 cases of everything.
He's got to he's got to play it slow in the beginning, which is super tough.
So, it's a vicious cycle.
But I agree. Let's get lumber or platinum or something else going, ladies and gentlemen.
We don't have a lot of spots left in platinum.
See, and this is why I've always said you should always support your local stores or your local breakers that have stores.
Anyone who has a store behind them, you should always support and I stand by that. And I also don't mind if someone starts without a store.
We did that. So that's not I'm not opposed to that.
But their objective should always be to open a store, not to just sell without a store.
Oh, super. There's so much that goes on behind the scenes. Exactly what Golden said. There's so much that happens that unfortunately Unfortunately, you know, sometimes we have to keep our mouth shut and not burn any bridges, right?
So sometimes we'll uh if things don't go our way, we have to just kind of take the licking that we get and then move on.
And it's not always, you know, the fault. That's why I'm always pretty uh that's why I'm always pretty lenient towards a lot of dealers because until you know the whole scenario, do we own our space or rent? So the case that we're on is attached to a building that my dad owns. We do pay a decent amount of rent, but it's significantly better than 90% of the people who would be around here. So, and I like being close to my family.
And that's why Abby, it's funny because like a lot of people say to me, you know, oh, you guys are way cheaper than this one store in Toronto. I'm like, guys, that store in Toronto is probably paying four times the rent.
Like, I understand why he's charging more.
Is it possible to buy from smaller shops and gain? So super are you saying is it is it like if I buy from smaller stores anything is possible. Yes. Um you're not technically allowed to buy from other stores.
It's a part of our agreement so that way we don't just like sell to each other all the time. Um, but let's say a product's been out for one year. Yeah, I can buy most times it's the small stores contact us to buy uh to buy quantity.
Um, and in our end, we generally, unless it's exceptional circumstances, we generally only buy cases, not individuals. I hate buying individuals.
So yeah, now don't get me wrong, Super, there's definitely some dealers that I I definitely know and I trust very well that if they had three or four single boxes they just want to kind of get rid of, I'm not opposed to it.
But you would not believe how many times we've gotten emails from either customers or other dealers who are like, I have 10 boxes of, and I'm going to give a hypothetical, 24 25 series 2 Cellrini year. Would you like to buy them at a discounted price? It's like, well, why do you only have 10? What happened to the other two?
Because I can tell you, I think I know what happened to the other two.
So, those ones are generally very easy. But here's the thing, super. If you go on eBay right now and you buy individual boxes, right? What do you think? Like, and I'm talking individual boxes from a random person, not a big store or an AIR. Okay.
But what do you think happens, right? Like, let's be honest. If I opened a platinum case and I'm the one selling that Schaefer Emerald P uh not PMG, Emerald Auto, right? And the first box I got that Schaefer and I can make good money on the other seven. I'm going to sell the other seven, right? Well, where do you think who do you think's buying those?
I guarantee you, I would say a good 80% of the single boxes on eBay are probably ones from people buying cases, getting the case hit, and then trying to make as much back as possible.
And you are correct. Lumber is down to five. We can easily get that one going.
Like it's a sad reality honestly floor and and I learned it the hard way when I first started in the business is that the amount of dealers that are very shortsighted and do that is is very big like genuinely. Dan, do you have the blast ready for extended tomorrow then?
>> Friday. I told you Friday.
Well, do you want me to launch it tonight then or tomorrow?
>> I have it ready. So, >> okay, I'll do it tonight.
There you go, guys.
Um, well, so Abby, I will again since we're not doing a lot of breaks, I enjoy having conversation and I hope you guys can join some other breaks so that way we can do it. But I'll explain how that works, Abby, on that. But I always remember, by the way, there's like 15 years ago or whatever it was, I went to a store in Toronto. I'm not going to say who. And one of my funniest stories I ever had because I was well aware of how it all works as those dealers doing the stuff.
And at the time, because I was a set builder, and I still am a set builder, I was doing the future watch auto set.
Okay? So SBA came out. Let's just say it was on the Wednesday. I went up there Thursday.
No word of a lie, in the display case there was about 15 to 20 future watch auto patches.
Beautiful cards. I was like, "Oh man, this guy crushed it." Like, so then I'm thinking in my head, gold mine, right? Because I should be able to pick up a lot of singles from him for my set. So, I asked the person, I go, "Hey, out of curiosity, do you have any future watch autos or any of the inserts because I'm building the set of SBA?" And they said, "Well, we don't have any." And I was like, "You don't have any future watch autos?" And he's like, "Well, no, we have like these patches up here. You can buy these ones." I was like, "But you have no regular autographs from this." He's like, "No, unfortunately don't." Now, anyone with a brain can tell you how is it possible that they could have 15 to 20 patch autos but not a single regular auto.
So, stuff like that is if you use your brain, it's a lot easier to understand what is going on. And I'll be honest, I've never returned to that dealer once again.
>> Yeah.
It it's it stuff like that. Unfortunately, dealers think it's beneficial. What they don't realize, and to me, it's the dumbest thing in the world, and I I'm lucky that I have this mentality, the way I always equate this to anything.
If I walk into a casino and I win money, generally my mindset walking out is I can't wait to do this again.
Right? If I walk out of that casino and got smashed, like I just lost all my money, generally I'm walking out going, I don't want to do that again for a while.
It blows my mind how dealers are so shortsighted that you might get a $100 card and take it away from a customer.
And yes, you got the $100. Good for you.
But if that customer never wins, why would he come back to you?
Now, it's funny because on YouTube, a lot of people always comment about how I'm always so like excited when I get polls and all this stuff. It's because in my eyes, I know how it'll make me feel if I won something. Like that person who got that Yoger 101 patch, I am absolutely thrilled for that person.
That is a huge hit. Not one part of me sits there and goes, "Oh man, you know, I I wish I wish I weighed that pack and somehow got that card and I got that $5,000." No, you need people to win.
That's the whole point of the hobby.
It It just so shortsighted and it blows my mind.
Like, don't get me wrong, I understand why they're taking the hundred bucks because in their pocket it's $100, but man oh man, it's just like the more you can make people win, the better it is.
Like, if I was to ever try to rig things, I would rig it in your favor. I would want and I remember a long time ago we used to like back in the day when cases were crazy with Panini.
People always used to get so upset with me because they're like, "You guys always open the best cards." And like number one, we open the most products.
So that makes sense. But I literally changed my mentality.
You know, I remember talking to my distributor about that. I was like, "It kind of annoys me because a lot of people get mad at this."
And it's funny. He's like, "But use that." He's like, "If people think you have the best hits, isn't that good for you?" Like, isn't that great that your stuff is the best stuff?
So, from then on in, it was hilarious because I literally just constantly was always like, "Yep, our stuff is the best. We have specially marked cases.
Here you go, everyone. Join our breaks."
Uh, if I were to guess a price, how much do you think extended series in Canada?
200 bucks.
Yeah, it should be 200. Now, Abby, what you were saying about the um Upper Deck puts the autos in the same pack. So, I'll tell you why. Upper deck is different than panini. Okay.
If you can get a box less than 200, should well floor, that's a loaded question. If you can, I would say at this point, yes.
The problem is we haven't seen other products built.
But I do think right now that's a fair price if you can get under two. Yes.
So Abby, what I was saying to you is so Upper Deck and Panini had two different models of the way they do it. So keep in mind guys, a lot of people always have this uh misconception that Upper Deck packs all the boxes and all this fun stuff.
Upper Deck will send this out to like a machine company and then they just slot all the cards in. It's just a machine operated thing.
If you want to make sure for the most part you have the right collated thing, you have to build an algorithm that puts the boxes properly in every single time.
If you want the same consistency panini, for the most part, was a bit different. They didn't mind having super loaded boxes and then some absolute garbage boxes.
It's a different mindset.
So, there is a positive and there's a negative to it.
Anytime we ever notice a trend like that, we always in store, we mix around the packs for people because you will not believe how many times people come in, they try to be all cool like, "Oh, I'm just going to take the second on the left pack, please."
It's just hilarious because you know exactly what they're doing. It's like, h I just broke like 10 cases this last night. It's funny how the second from the left is always the box hit.
It is. Yeah, Abby, you're right.
But it's designed that way to make sure there's consistency.
It has to be that way if you want consistency.
Um, so you know what I can tell you, Abby? We've had countless amount of discussions, and I'm not even exaggerating this on that specific scenario. So, here's the honest truth, and you can tell me your opinion, and here's the beautiful thing. No one is going to have the same opinion as everyone else, right? It's not going to be possible. Here's my honest opinion, Abby.
Would you be comfortable buying a case for example of Celerrini series 2 where you might get four Celeries but you also could get zero if you don't like that because case buyers I can tell you would certainly not appreciate knowing that they could get zero of that rookie. That is a big big issue for a lot of them.
No. No. But Abby, hear me out. When the machine puts it out there to ensure that there is one of every young gun in the in the case, it has to cycle through a proper rhythm.
So, it has to be that way if you want consistency because the way it should work.
No other series has been that. Uh, no, it has been, Abby.
It It has been, you might not not have noticed it as much. McDavid was super easy. Matthews was super easy. If you had I can't remember with McDavid. There was one guy who always came with McDavid and one guy always came with Matthews.
It's the problem is people probably didn't really pay attention too much in other years because their rookie wasn't as dramatically big, but it is the same for the most part most years because it has to be.
But either way, that's basically the algorithm that they build. It has to be built in a certain way. I know it's not going to make everyone happy. I agree with you. The same six sucks. I absolutely 100% agree with you. But if you want it to be insanely consistent that you will get one or two of every rookie in every case, sadly that is what you kind of almost have to deal with.
So, by the way, Platinum just had a couple spots taken. Lumber's at five. Let's see if we can at least get lumber or platinum going or both of them.
So, Abby, I I see you like it that way.
See, here's the difference. 12 boxes from 12 different cases theoretically could get you 12 cerinis. It also could get you zero. So that's how some people look at it. But yeah, it's there's no right or wrong scenario in that one.
But it shows you like I would probably Abby if I was I would lean more towards your way because I'm more of a gambler that way too. So like in my head I'm going If I buy a case, I'm pretty much maxed at two. But if I do buy 12, I could get five or six or seven.
Um, well, to be fair though, Abby, 17 is two is not bad odds. So, I'm going to give you some positive news.
The way it works, so I want you to keep this in mind. I mean, there's 50 young guns in the set, right?
There's 72 that come in a case. So, you're only going to get 22 that are doubles in a case.
So, on a theoretical basis, I believe the exact number is once every 16 like seven boxes, you should see two So yours at two and one 17 is actually pretty damn accurate.
So good for you for getting the exact odds. But yes, I understand what you're saying. I agree, guys. Lumber and platinum If anyone wants to get those going.
Lumber's at five left. Platinum is very close.
You'll buy one more platinum if others do. There we go. So guys, let's use that as our ammunition to get platinum rocking out. I would love that.
So there you go. And Abby, I think someone did match you already on that.
So who else is going to be next, guys?
It looks like Lumber is down to four.
Platinum is down to six. All right, who's next? Lumber is slowly but surely getting chopped down. You get that one, guys?
Like, come on. That was pretty good.
Bad pun. Come on. That was good.
That was a good one.
All right. Four and six.
Who is next?
I agree with Wingnut. I don't like an empty uh wall. We did do a jersey. Oh, by the way, Wingnut, I don't know if you saw the jersey.
It was a pretty cool one.
As a fellow dad, I appreciate it. Sorry, Kevin. What are you appreciating again today? I'm trying to look at where you posted last you appreciating the brakes moving.
What? What? What part?
So, lumber at four, platinum at six. Who wants to close it out? Anyone who want to grab a few more spots?
Lumber at four, platinum at six.
A couple more spots, guys. We'll be good.
So, who is next? I don't want to end today with only one break.
That would not be a super sexy evening.
All right, it looks like Platinum's down to five left.
There we go. I appreciate that. Thank you.
All right. Anyone else?
only five.
So, who else would like to get it going?
Five left in platinum.
Four left in platinum.
Who's next?
I should just go get the boxes and put them on the table. I don't disagree with you.
I'm going to go do that. I also got to get my uh Oh, the joke. Yeah. See, no worries. I have to That's why some you got to figure out what what people are referring to. But yes, I like that one.
It's a good dad joke.
Yeah. I'll be right back, guys.
using a break. All right, what do we got left?
All right, two more lumbers going. You guys didn't tell me to grab lumber. You told me to go grab uh platinum.
Why are you fooling me?
Well, looks like lumber is down to two left. Anyone want to close that one out?
Go grab lumber. Well, lumber is a lot closer.
Down to two left on lumber. We can close that one out.
24 minutes left for that Schaefer on auction by the way. Do we think it's going to get to 10,000 Canadians at 6,100 right now? What do you guys think?
Abby said there's going to be a lot of snipers. I absolutely agree with her on that.
But do we think it goes up to 10 from six?
So guys, three, sorry, two left in the lumber. You think? Probably that high.
Wow, that'll be pretty sweet if it does.
Again, anything that can help lift up uh a product and throwing it out there, guys, that card could be in these boxes.
Well, not that exact one, but a version of that. Like a different number of it.
Maybe nine. I want the exact number.
Abby, I'm going to say I'm going to actually go crazy on this one. I'm going to say 11,340.
So, I'm putting this in there. 11,340 is my number. I'm just putting it there.
So that way we know.
I always hope on cards they go higher, right? Not lower.
Yours is probably going to be more accurate.
But guys and girls, two left. Who wants them?
Uh, what card? I don't know if I can link it. I hope the link Oh, no. The link does not work there. Um, I don't know if this will work on the link.
I know sometimes it's a length thing.
That one. Does that work, guys?
So, does anyone else have guesses on that one?
Lumber looks like it's down to one left.
So, there we go. Who wants that lumber?
Yeah, I'm 99% sure that thing has not moved in like six days, which is crazy.
And I just looked at the bid time. Yeah, the last actual bid on that was 10:00 a.m.
May 22nd. So literally 6 days is not moved at all.
Now Wingnut, I'm talking about Canadian dollars. I don't know if you're talking about US. So right now, Canadian, it's at 6,100 and 4,400 US. So I'm saying Canadian, 1100 and 11,340. That's what my guess was.
So one left only in lumber if anyone wants to close that out.
So, there's nine more left on the wild.
Exactly. See, tons of them.
7,400 US. All right, guys. Lumber is just down to one.
How are we leaving that bad boy at one left? All right, so lumber looks like it's filled. Grab that then.
We'll we'll get the platinum going.
There could be there could be one in that box. I hope so. Trust me, I would love it. Age is the exposure. That's the thing that people don't realize is I would love I know people are gonna hate it too, but it helps our business if we can open up like the one gold auto shafer. It's great for us.
I know a ton of people would absolutely despise that, but hey, not my problem.
All right. So 338. Thank you guys very much for getting it filled.
Oh floor. My god. There is an ongoing thing. I don't know what it is with Reddit that they hate breakers. I don't like I understand certain parts of it.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not oblivious, but man, do they ever hate uh breakers, but they it is amazing how many times it's like they'll ignore the 999 boxes that we didn't get good hits and it's like, "Oh, of course they got that one."
Well, yes, they open more. That's how it works. The odds are technically better for breakers. Sorry that you don't like that, but that is the truth.
25,338 three times. One, two, three.
One, two, three.
All right, here's your numbers, folks.
Of course, they hit the yogurt patch five years later. It had to be them.
Wow.
Wow. Wing nut. All right. All right.
That's fair.
Can't say uh it's not fair, but a little kicking me when I'm down, but that's okay. You know, it happens to all of us.
Here we go. 29,338.
We've got the lumber box break uh floor. I essentially, if you remember, I can't remember the who it was, it was a Twigs stick auto. I think I read it eight of nine and it was actually six of eight. I read it in reverse.
Eric when he was doing shipping, he's like, I'm pretty sure. See, that's why it's good that he double checks these things. So there you go. Proves to proves you guys that we do our best to double check as much as we can to make sure. Right.
So I blame that on Wingnut personally.
He tried to uh pay me a ton of money to give him that card and then uh it just didn't work out. So So I kept the money and he didn't get the card. We've got numbered two of three.
N B the number two spot.
Evani Nebachov number four.
of five dual stick rack that is jerseyn numbered and holy moly floor if you have this number this is your team I don't know what is going on Jean Bo and Giller Belo Laughler dual stick rack number four of five.
Number four of seven.
Complete stick blade and tape armor.
Yogger four of seven.
Are we going to go three fours?
Numbered 14.
of 40 stick auto. So the number four spot, Dominic Hashek.
There we go.
All right, you guys are all allowed to be very upset with floor on that one.
He has promised me he will take quite a few spots on the next one to uh to steal all those ones as well.
The dominator dominating the break with a dominator.
Well, floor congrats.
That is what can happen on these which is great.
So congrats on uh on that end.
Everyone else, my apologies that I couldn't get a different number for you guys.
I semi failed.
You're not helping out anymore.
I'm done.
And by the way, platinum is very, very close, just so you guys know. So, if you guys would like to finish off the platinums, I think we're down to one or two.
We are down to two.
So, who wants to close out platinum, guys?
11 minutes left in the Schaefer. Still not moving.
Do you think the person who owns that card is absolutely panicking right now?
Like Abby, do you think that person genuinely is sitting there going, "Why is it not moving?" Move, move, move.
They couldn't miss it.
They would know. I imagine. Yeah, I hope so.
Now, I will say though, Abby, when we do consignments for some people, the amount of times that they will message us two days into it and be like, "It's still at a dollar. Can you pull it?" I'm like, "It's still got five days left. Relax.
and they genuinely think like it won't move after a dollar. Like, so I don't know how people actually know that.
Nine minutes left. See, I'm going to miss it now with platinum.
We're going to miss the fun ending, maybe.
Uh yeah, I'm just waiting for that last payment to come in.
So once that last payment makes its way in, I can get the randoms ready.
And I'm going to issue out a deal again because it never hurts to try to do the other. I'm going to grab some water, too, because I need it for platinum especially.
But I'm going to make a fun deal. If you guys remember last week, I tried to do this. And again, I'm always candid.
There's a bit of a damage on the one corner, but it's still a very large rookie auto. It is a Nazar rookie auto.
The damage is right there. You guys can see the corner.
So, the corner is pretty damaged.
But uh this card normally sold I think for about 150 bucks Canadian.
So here's my fun deal.
Here's my fun deal. I'm going to make this very simple. If we fill the ultimate 333 and the premiere 332, I will give away that Nazar to one person in one of those two breaks.
And both those breaks, by the way, are only 16 spots.
So considering the odds on that, that is not too shabby to get that going. So if we get both of those filled, I will give away that Nazar.
Yeah, that was uh that is nuts by the way that news.
Yeah, sadly uh he decided to off himself which was really sad to hear.
So, yeah, it was ruled a I don't even know what you can say on uh YouTube sometimes. Yeah, it was a self-inflicted, we'll say it that way.
And if you even want to get more in depth of how sad it is, he apparently was I guess they have a furniture store.
I guess the family owns a furniture store and his family realized he didn't come home that night. So his son, and keep in mind he's 60, so his son's probably what, 40, son went to the store to go uh see if he's there and he was.
And yeah, what a horrific horrific thing.
Yeah, like absolutely nuts. What was it two days ago? Three days ago, you see him carry the torch and then then that that's it's insane.
You didn't know? Oh, yeah. No worries, Golden. I said I I just found that out.
I don't know, right before I went on blog type thing.
Apparently, that's what it was. So yeah, obviously more information I'm sure is going to come out as time goes on, but devastating.
All right, I'm going to get the randoms ready now and get some water. 25,337.
One, two, three.
One, two, three.
I'll be right back. And then we'll get into the platinum.
All right. All right.
Well, have a good night.
You're not holding your breath. All right, Abby with the Islanders.
You got a bunch of ant teams and Anaheim. Oh, come on. And Anaheim like it's nothing. Anaheim's arguably one of the biggest teams in this. Come on, man.
All right, guys. So, if you're okay with this, I'm going to start the break in like three minutes because I'm really excited to see what that emerald goes for if that's okay.
And that way we can have fun with it.
Literally ends in like three minutes, guys. Or two two minutes and 40 seconds.
So, just so you guys know.
I do have the deal on the ultimate and the premiere. Also, if you guys want to get SPX or Diamond going, that would be great.
Florida, Anaheim, Tampa, Columbus, Minnesota, LA, Vancouver. You have some decent ones.
Wingno, what teams do you got?
That would be crazy pissed.
Well, we'll find out the action. I'm I'm hoping for 10,000 plus. That would be great to see even just for the hype of that product. As I said, as a breaker, as a store, you know, this is a benchmark that I'm going to be talking to uh to a lot of customers, right?
Like, hey, look, did you see that? That shaper went for 10,000 or 6,000.
And this is obviously arguably the hardest the most realistic hardest card to obtain because a one of one is just there's only one. There's at least nine more people in the world who can get this.
We are down to the final minute. It's moving. I didn't see it move.
How are you getting movement and I'm not seeing it move?
I see zero movement on my end.
I see the conversion thing moving up a bit. 4451 4414. That thing keeps jumping up.
It's ahead of us. Yeah, he already knows what it ends for. 25 seconds left.
For those that want to watch, I can just bring it up here.
13 12 11 10 Okay, now it's got to get going. That guy's panicking.
7,000 9,000.
Did it finish at 9?
9,100.
Hold on. What was What was Aby's guess?
I think Abby bought it.
Abby guessed 93.
Wow.
Good for you. Good guess. My gosh. I was really hoping for the uh 10,000 so I could tell people 10,000 is doable, but hey.
Oh, that person's got me thrilled. Yeah, like they're probably going to walk away with realistically after all the fees from the uh slab sharks and whatever and eBay. I don't know, 7 and a half thousand. Yeah, that's huge. Here we go. 25,337.
We've got the platinum two box break.
Uh it would be around that. Yeah, I went for 9100. So, whatever fees would be and then the conversion, right? So less that I'm saying that's what they would clear.
It obviously went for 91.

Maybe in the next one.
All right. So, does anyone want to get the ball rolling on the ultimate and the premiere?
Remember, the premiere has the fun game attached. If not, no biggie. And those will go tomorrow. But, let me know.
I thought we'd be able to get that premiere going no problem, but maybe it's tomorrow.
Let me know, ladies and gentlemen.
We need our revenge.
You getting choppy feed. That's not good.
Well, floor probably I'm guessing like a lot of the other breaks are a little harder to move right now. So, I'm guessing that might be the end of the night.
Um, just a quick heads up guys, you are going to be the first to know this. So, if you guys are team oriented or team random, I am posting extended right when I'm done. So, you guys will have the first shot at your teams.
And I highly recommend you guys take a good look at them and grab what you want.
because there's some really good teams in there.
I am posting floor. I am posting three team selects. So, so however you and Wingnut want to deal with the teams, you can. But the Detroit actually got some, you know, Nate Danielson. He should be uh I know he's pretty hyped.
He might be like the top in the top three or four rookies in that product.
So, I do think he's going to go quickly regardless.
All right. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to get the brakes up for you guys very shortly. I do very much appreciate all the conversation today and getting at least three breaks done.
That was nice.
Extended is going to go up very shortly, so pay attention. So, with that being said, enjoy the rest of your guys' evenings and we will see you guys tomorrow. It will be 7:45 tomorrow night, guys. So, have yourselves a beautiful rest of the night and see you guys then. Have a good one, everyone.
