The FDA's 1999 ban on turkey tail (chofi) due to its high fat content (exceeding 15%) and associated health risks like obesity, high cholesterol, and heart disease illustrates the ongoing challenge between food safety regulations and cultural food practices, as the product continues to be sold in Ghanaian markets despite the ban.

FDA Renews Warning Over Banned ‘Chofi’ as Turkey Tail Stays on Markets | Breakfast DailyAdded:
No.
>> [laughter] >> People are not excited about this. This is quite an interesting one because it didn't actually start today. You know, this trend didn't actually start today. I actually sent it to you over the weekend.
>> Yeah, you did. You did.
>> weekend and then you gave me a sad face emoji. Yeah, why would this kind of happen to us?
>> kind of happen to us? Yeah, something that we've been enjoying for a very long time.
>> we're talking about. Well, the FDA is renewing its warning when it comes to turkey tail, popularly known as chofi.
Chofi, chofi, chofi.
>> I'm talking about. The oiliness that you see in there. If it's if it's fried hot hot like that.
>> Yeah. So, Ghana's Food and Drug [clears throat] Authority issued a public notice on May 11, 2026 renewing its ban on turkey tail or chofi. And it's been banned since 1999 for exceeding 15% fat content linked to obesity, Mhm. high cholesterol, heart disease, [clears throat] and certain cancers. Mhm. The fatty poultry parts exported cheaply from the US after rejection there continues selling in markets like in Sawam, Wenchi Junction, Suhum, and Nkrumah Circle despite Which which Nkrumah Circle is it you say?
Kwame Nkrumah Circle? Yeah. In Accra?
Yeah. Oh, no. I don't I don't see it in Kwame Nkrumah Circle. May I see it at I see it in in Sawam and in Sawam I can tell you exactly what they they sell.
They sell it with either yam or hot sugar bread.
And also, Winneba Junction.
Oh, no. Sometimes when I'm when I'm traveling, I see them. It's not like I eat it, but I see them. And >> [laughter] >> Winneba Junction. I know Winneba Junction. And even Mankessim And even Mankessim Junction. Hey, it See, this Mankessim that you just mentioned is not inside here. Oh, yeah.
>> [laughter] >> Even Mankessim Junction, I know they sell it with yam. And the yam is actually well colored. So, you see it's all yellowish yam like that.
>> And there's also one place where sell let me add >> at Atimpoku Oh, there's also another place. There's another place that they also sell it. But, they don't sell it like in like like a lot like how you were talking about. Cuz I'm sure all these places you're calling like they have it all over the place. But, this place they sell yam in not legon, you know? Oh, they sell this. I beg don't mention the name of this other place.
So, >> [laughter] >> when you go to Atimpoku, too, it's sold there.
>> Oh, wow.
Sogakope Yeah.
>> Oh, yeah. Sogakope >> Sogakope on uh other popular Yes, yes, yes. That that that that junction. that place So, 1999 people have banned this thing long ago. And we still see it in town. Yeah, I don't eat it, though. I'm innocent. Go ahead. Well, Ghanaians have shared mixed feelings. And of course, if you can see from our reaction here, you know that okay, it's a bit of mixed feelings right here for us, too. But, >> Also, so wait. There there is a mess There is a a particular statement here you you did read. Ghanaians shared mixed reactions online with some jokingly saying, "Chofi sweet pass all meat."
While others called for stronger action against importers um [snorts] in places like Mankessim. So, we see I mentioned. All right. So, Clement from our customer board just sent us a message. [clears throat] And this message is uh right on our WhatsApp platform. So, yeah, the WhatsApp platform are open. So, if you want to just send your messages, you can also send it. As we read through the messages that people actually have online. So, um Clement is saying, "Chofi is part of the Ghanaian culture." Banned >> [clears throat] >> as in how? But, how But, but the big question I keep asking myself is How it keeps coming back?
>> if you ban it for Since 1999, that should be some 27 years. How is it >> How is it still in the system? And now, the ones that are coming into the system are fresh. When you When you fry it, looks very very chunky. And you see And I really don't know. People enjoy it with kenkey, banku, and I I I really don't understand why FDA would want to wait. They are reiterating their comments. So Yeah. Chris, we have comments.
>> All right. So, we have comments.
>> But keep your messages coming. Shofi and gankeke. Oh, yeah. And they said that we kinkeke a lot.
>> Yeah. Oh my goodness.
Please, we haven't eaten yet. It's early morning. Give us the next comment.
How does it keep coming?
>> coming here if it is banned? That's the real question here. Mhm. Real question.
All right. This is a thesis. Here's what nobody's saying. Turkey [clears throat] tail is rejected by American processors, too fatty, too low grade, not fit for the American consumption. So, what happens to it? It gets packaged, exported, and sold to West Africa at a fraction of the cost. Ghana bans it, Ghana still imports it, and Ghanaians still eats it. And it's And 27 years later, the FDA releases a presser on It's like it's always does. This is not food safety story. This is a trade story. I think it's I I agree because if it's food >> That's somebody's business.
>> Yeah, because also if it's if it's it's a food safety thingy, I think they should be in the market by now. Mhm.
They should be everywhere by now. Do you understand? Trying to collect possibly collect the ones that are available here.
So, um I know someone working at FDA who likes them all.
>> [laughter] >> But I won't say anything. You FDA people, if you come you will come to the office and also come and check.
>> [screaming] >> I'll say is the FDA serious at all? How has it been banned for 27 years and it's still on the market? That's a big question we all asking.
Oh, uh chop Oh, I chopped some serve like 30 minutes Oh, boy. You Like you want You ate some 30 minutes ago? Zikret are banned, but shofi is as are not banned, but shofi is banned. Like how?
Okay. All right. So, we actually have another um >> Someone says, "So, what if I want to gain weight?"
Well, you know So, you want to eat it and gain weight? All right. Wow.
So, we have one here. Um I remember some years ago I was driving from a flower back to Accra and I got some chofi. My father found out and overtook my car, stopped me, and snatched it from me. He went to the bush and threw it away. I wanted to cry. And this is Steve from Adenta. Wow.
So, yeah, so that means so >> and and that means some parents have already heard about it since it had been banned. And you know this is not the first time I'm hearing that it's it's actually happened and banned.
>> I've I've also actually heard heard of it so long ago that it's actually been banned. But, the question we are all asking is if you've banned it and it's not supposed to be in the country, how do we get it here? Yeah.
>> You understand? If you say something is no good and it's not supposed to be in the country. Look at the places I have mentioned. Mankessim um Sugarcane Essawan um Atonsu Kumasi um other places Suhum and all the places that we've mentioned, Winneba Junction and all the places that we've mentioned. How are we able to get the tekye till to these places? Yeah.
For to the extent that these tekye tills are being fried and eventually are sold for consumption. We were here when the the FDA also issued a statement and said that that the same that the same wasn't good. Yeah.
>> And they even said mɔre kooko. Do you know mɔre kooko? Mɔre kooko?
>> Yeah. Yeah, I know mɔre kooko. Yeah, you know mɔre. I know mɔre kooko, but I don't know what's made up of it.
>> Okay, so so that's porridge. So, that's the corn. Yeah, the corn one, right?
>> It's sloppy. It's a food for children.
>> and nice.
>> It's a food for children. Yeah. So, there are there are statements that the FDA will issue and that the information should go down well for people to really understand what the ramification or the side effect of these things are.
But, if you keep making these things available to us, Yeah. people who have stayed for 30, 40, 50 years, and they have the cravings for this particular product, will keep will keep taking it.
>> Right. So, um um I actually just came across a a little article here um because I'm trying to really understand, you know, the problem when it comes to turkey tail. And there's a little article here that says um turkey tail is marketed selectively to Pacific Island communities throughout in the I mean throughout the US. So, basically some people in the US do not eat it, and it's only mostly the Pacific Island territories and as well as independent nations, said a University of Michigan researcher. And she said many islanders think the turkey tail is delicious. And basically I think islanders think like Africans. They think the turkey tail is delicious. It's also cheap, but far from nutritious. It's full of fat and cholesterol and contributes to one of the major health problems facing Pacific Islanders, and that is obesity.
So, So, so I think there's a point. So, another big question I also want to ask.
I'm not saying that this particular one has been banned, but will it Yeah. Leda. Leda? With the chop leda.
And and I can say about 70 to 80 people, I don't have the statistics, I've not done any research, but 70 to 80 people who buy willy will definitely buy willy in there because they need to see the willy dancing somewhere in there. But, what is the nutritional value?
Well, that one is nothing, but this one causes problems.
Well, That one and that one has no nutritional value, but this one causes problems. They said some Pacific island nations have also attempted to ban the importation of turkey tails and other high-fat food products, but the bans have been lifted in other for these nations to join the World Trade Organization."
>> So, does he also say that this turkey tail business is a big business for people?
>> it's a very big business for people because of the same like this actually takes me back to when I was a kid. I think the same thing happened in Togo.
Mhm. You understand? Like when Togo like the same Oh, Togo they they consume a lot of turkey tail.
>> Oh my lord. All the the holy trinity Oh, they eat a lot of turkey tail.
>> In Togo?
>> Yes. Yam yams got to go with turkey tail. Um um They have They have this thing they call akple, agidi. Okay.
>> has to go with um Nigerians call it agidi. Togolese call it akple. It's white they eat it with pepper. That one has to go with turkey tail.
Um sandwiches go with turkey tail.
>> Sandwich?
>> Yes. Like we have side They are street foods. Open the bread like this. The hot bread. Cut the chofi put it inside.
>> And put it inside. And then put the sauce.
And then put some onions. So, that's a >> press it. Wait, let me tell you something. You press it. You press it like this. And then if the oil doesn't drip, you know it's not a good chofi.
But the oil has to drip for you, you know? Ah.
>> So, that's chofi bread.
>> [laughter] >> So, they eat a lot of chofi there too.
So, they also had the same thing um I I remember when I was a kid. But it's still happening like Ghana here. They still chofi. Nobody stopping it.
>> Mhm. But the government is still trying to push back. [snorts] >> Interesting. We are we are getting a lot of messages. So, you can also join us with your message as well. Um what do you make of the FDA's move to say that well, a statement has been issued and since 1999 uh chofi has actually been banned, but I'm not sure how that is going down well with people. And the fact that people are still consuming the big question is how is it getting into the country. So, some comments that are coming in here. Remember some years.
Okay, that's uh coming from Steve here.
We've already read that one. Someone said, "For me, it's either chofi or pork for me. What at all do you want us to eat at this point? Ban it properly then." Ben saying from Dansoman DC here in Accra. This one said, "Right now, dear, everything can kill you. I'm I'm even tired self." This is coming from uh Gertrude in in Sowuam. Hey, Gertrude, I'm sure you've been consuming a lot of chofi where Where where you staying? In Sowuam, [laughter] check.
Red paint. This one says that, "I think FDA is at its uh wit's end uh because I'm sure they are aware that they have lost the handle on chofi and their approach. Uh they should adjust their strategy and do things differently. This is not a good look." Okay, this coming from Miriam from Amrahia. Another one too says from Chado says that, "How can you ban turkey tail and leave pork? Chofi for life, 100%." Bill from Chado. Hey, Chado, what are you eating chofi for? But But why would you want to bring pork into the into into into the picture?
No, you know you know, for me >> Pork is on its own. Please, don't don't don't don't For me, all I would say is yes, with like the FDA is actually doing their job by the >> Chris, there is a lengthy one here says that the FDA reminded on reminder on take on the ban on turkey tail that is chofi does not only baffle my mind, but also goes uh question why this very product, which was banned way back in 1999, seems um finds its way onto the market. Who import this product? Yeah.
>> The who authorizes its importation and who is to blame?
It's Isn't it obvious we've been sleeping on our job as a country? Yeah.
>> Ghana's emanate from system failure and nothing else. This is uh from Jumbo Pokuase Festus. Well, you say. So, I think um the chofi conversation has gone down well.
Uh we'll still be monitoring how things will actually be unfolding in the coming days. I don't know if there is an association um association of chofi eaters or association of chofi importers or association or something. But, you know, I I want us to do this. I want us to do this. I want us to do this. I think people would want to share their opinion on this, right? Uh we we are receiving a number of messages. Uh we would enter our communities, but we want to give about five or six or 10 of our viewers to share their their views on on this chofi thing. So, uh let's open the phone lines. Yeah. Let's open the phone lines.
Let's receive your comments. And uh what you make of the FDA statement actually re hashing that you are not supposed to consume the uh chofi. So, the number is on the screen. And also, where you've actually been buying it. And uh what you've been eating it with. We've seen messages coming through. People are saying that >> we we actually have a message here from Joseph. Joseph is our neighbor here in Tesano.
>> [laughter] >> I don't know you but obviously because you live in Tesano, yeah.
He's our neighbor here.
Please, it is not your health way. Nah, we won't stop eating chofi. Oh, Joseph. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, Joseph, we want you alive. Yeah, we we we we want you alive. We we want you alive.
So, uh if if if you are consuming it, the FDA says that it's not good. You know what? I I I think that You you would want to stop consuming. It has become a part of people's palate and something that a lot of um Africans or Islanders eat a lot. But, but since um the experts have said that okay, you know what? This is causing problems like obesity, some some cancers, and probably affecting your liver, and so on.
One of the things I think we should just do is eat it in moderation. If you If If you think you're [clears throat] a lover of chofi and you are so addicted that you can't stop, do you understand?
>> Mhm.
Maybe you should eat it in moderation.
Maybe you should fry it yourself. Maybe you should do things yourself.
All right, so we actually have a call from Casor and he's actually going to express himself in tree, so maybe Philip, you have to take this over.
>> Okay. So, good morning.
Good morning. Mummy, you're frozen.
Okay.
Okay.
Chofi new wedding for how many years?
Oh, okay. Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Oh, okay. Okay.
Oh, okay.
>> Okay. What are you proposing?
Danny. Danny, Danny, Danny. Charlie, Charlie. Charlie, okay. Charlie.
Thank you so much. You are dancing.
She is is just recently she she she she tried it. And she was on her way to Kumasi and she bought it around in Kokofu. And um she actually wants to know the reason why Yeah. Food and Drugs Authority saying that we shouldn't eat it. So you see she has seen it. But the communication hasn't gone down well.
>> Yes. She's she doesn't really understand >> understand, yeah. the reason why we are not supposed to eat chofi.
In the first place almost every case here.
Two.
Three.
So basically that's summarized. So what we are also trying to say is that if there is this information coming down there are a number of things that are supposed to be done >> Mhm. when it comes to communication the dissemination of information and all that. There are processes that has to go through. It doesn't just issue a statement or don't say it's been banned and we do not know the reason why this particular product has been banned.
>> No, but you know, like what what what what we read that Okay, maybe the information is not going down properly like you said because some from what we read they they mentioned why but it's still boils down to also what you said.
Not everybody is getting this information.
>> Suhum Suhum we understand is also a place where the chofi is being sold.
Fortunately, Josephine is calling us from Suhum. Josephine, good morning.
Good morning, sir. I trust you are doing well.
I'm doing very well. What about you? I'm doing good. Let's hear from you about the chofi issue.
Um I think I support what the FDA is saying. But the only best thing we can do is just start educating people from scratch. Thank you.
Yes, for them to understand the reason why we shouldn't consume it.
Right. Right. Right.
>> It is a very nice thing. I I I always try it.
When last did you eat it, Josephine?
Yesterday.
>> [laughter] >> Just yesterday? Yes, yesterday. Oh, you bought it around your area in the store?
Yes, yes. Okay. Is this a walking distance from your house? Yes, sir.
Okay. So, for how long have you been taking this particular uh cocktail?
Actually, I can't tell, but sometimes sometimes I do take Sometimes you do take it. I can't really tell you the number of years I've been taking So, do you eat it with What exactly do you add to it in terms of your Hot fried yam. Okay. Okay, Josephine. Thank you so much, Josephine.
>> When was the last time you ate it? Thank you so much, Josephine. We are grateful.
Chris, this question you're asking me.
We are by the roadside and you're asking me when last I ate chofi.
Something that has been banned.
And you want me to sit here and tell you the last time I took chofi? [laughter] I don't think I've even eaten some before. I don't know how it tastes.
I I just don't know how it tastes. You maybe you you can't you don't believe it.
>> Okay. I I I I I ate some in March last year.
>> Okay, so you're being truthful. Last year. Okay. Okay. Yeah, like It's not something I just go for. It's something I only Yeah, okay. I just see maybe a friend eating it, but I just don't wake up and buy chofi. Okay. Okay, that's fine. So, Josephine actually said that the FDA also pushed the information down. Very well.
We are picking few calls. After that, we will transition to our communities and bring it. This one says our chairman, you have a a message there.
>> Yeah, chairman. If trofi should be banned, then rather cassava from Galamsey areas should be banned. The health implications from such cassava are way more obvious and dangerous. This is from wisdom. And someone actually has even put out a a hashtag. Good morning to everyone. This is Dollar Man. My take is that since 1999, people have been consuming a supposed banned product and have been okay without any major medical effects. We know no. You you need to check yourself.
Again, this is not a major food that Ghanaians consume a lot. It's a street food that we love to eat. They should let Ghanaians have their meat. The love for trofi is is a bond FDA cannot break.
They've been trying for over 27 years.
LOL. And he put a hashtag there, let's trofi be. Really? I think we have somebody on the line.
Okay, so Davis from my heart. So, let's hear from you. Good morning.
Fine morning. Uh tell us what do you hear from you on this particular statement from the Actually, my is not on trofi. Okay.
>> there's another thing important to me than trofi. Okay. Okay.
>> Because trofi, not all of us eat it.
Okay.
The food that they are now putting chemical. Mhm. Mhm.
>> Even banana, you pour chemical into ripe immediately. Okay.
Aha. And those things I think is more serious than trofi. So, if you can hammer on those things for us, I I will be better.
Okay. Okay.
>> That's fine. It's all things we are consuming. So, it's it's also get its its its its attention. That's why we are focusing on the statement from the Food and Drugs Authority. That is how come this conversation has actually come up.
Uh thank you so much, Davis, for for your time. The reason why we are highlighting on this is because the this particular item has actually been banned for 27 years. There are bigger questions that are supposed to be answered. Why is it still in the system? Why are people selling it?
Is the information going down well? What is the FDA going to do now that the statement has been issued? Is just is just just to just caution people and after cautioning people, we leave it at that or there are other things that are supposed to be done because if you you you are having a country and you are very much concerned about health, I'm sure that they are measures that we put in place aside what the statement will do.
>> Right. The other countries that because they take health very serious, there are gyms that have been dotted across Across area. the country and people are able to work out every now and then which makes it very easy. But let's bring you question from uh I must have an understand.
Good morning.
Good morning.
Let's hear from you quickly on what you make of the FDA statement on the cigarette tall issue.
I mean I mean Mhm.
The advice is that transport you can smoke in the transport.
But you say no.
Mhm.
Cigarette is dangerous. Don't smoke.
Mhm.
>> Mhm.
Mhm.
Right.
Mhm.
Mhm.
Mhm.
Question you asked. You asked. You asked. So, I'm sure you got what he said. Such a brilliant idea. Such a brilliant suggestion. He's telling them what to do. Because I feel like the whole talking, talking, talking is not enough. You know, like like like you said, there's an information. How is it reaching everybody?
>> But but let's let's let's explain to let's actually translate to our for our viewers what what she actually said. So, he's actually given the FDA free advice.
Now that you've been able to put out the statement, there are other things you're also going to do to ensure that people really understand why you're doing this, too.
When he was growing up, he said that he saw a number of people smoking cigarette, but it has reduced because of the intentionality, how key we like how keen that particular authority was on the fact that we should send that information that smoking is bad. So, he saw billboards that have been mounted to actually say that it's very very very bad. So, the more we keep doing these things, it's not just issuing a statement and leaving it at that, but there are other things that must be done will go a long way to help.
FDA, we've wanted you for a very long time on the show to actually give you free airtime.
All right, [snorts] so we have Sanda from Walewale. Hi, Sanda.
Yeah, good morning. Good morning. You're welcome to the show. Yeah, thank you.
All right. Can you share your thoughts on this? Yeah, is the with of the name the name that you use to mention chofi chofi. Mhm. And some doesn't understand the name. All right. It's like a technical name.
So, I don't know what type of meat is a chofi. Oh, it's turkey tail.
>> out for people to know. Oh, we've been saying it is turkey tail, turkey.
Turkey turkey?
>> Yes, turkey tail. Okay, turkey tail.
Yeah. Okay.
>> Or turkey butt. Okay, because the way it shows on the it's like a poultry farm in the poultry meat.
>> Yes. Oh, it is. Yes.
Hello.
Hello.
Yes, it's it's actually a poultry meat.
So, it's turkey tail.
>> Okay, is the one that they importing?
Yes. Yes, it's imported.
>> Ghana product one that we can consume.
No, you cannot because >> We cannot consume that.
That we get here. I'm sure people raise them locally Okay. If you raise turkeys, you can get it from the Okay. Yeah. So, I don't think it's about it's not about if it's imported. It's about the the ingredients that you have in it.
It's about the nutritional value that you're going to get from it. So, basically there's a lot of oil and and and this actually spikes up your cholesterol. It causes obesity and other health problems. That's what FDA is saying. Okay. Okay.
>> Yes. I'm very grateful. Yes, thank you.
>> enjoyed the program. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for tuning in. Every morning I've been monitoring the program. Thank you so much for tuning in, sir. All right. And my regards to my greetings to Sanda Amadu. All right, no problem.
>> [laughter] >> Thank you. Have a nice day. All right, so there's a a couple of messages here before we get into our communities. When we were back in school in Volta, you had to save your lunch money to eat chofi.
You'll find yourself drooling in the bus because everybody in the bus would be eating it.
How can you tell me to stop eating it when it is etched in my childhood. This is Magdalene from First Light.
What level of eating chofi is good? I think we should educate the people to avoid it. I mean, is is chofi good in moderation? This is Charles from Medina.
Breakfast daily. My concern is that the chofi is imported. How does the chofi leave the harbors and ports?
>> [snorts] >> This is Kayson suffer from Wager. Hello, my name is Newton. I don't frequently consume this, but I think that this can't totally leave the system. We don't talk about the complexity of how pork from pigs are processed. Pugs I mean pigs are immune to venoms from snakes.
So, what happens to the fat stored in the pig? This is Henry from whole. Henry Um that's a very good topic, but Philip won't like you to talk about it cuz he likes pork. Health and safety Yeah.
Risks >> [laughter] >> Risks bacterias and Okay, so Lucky [snorts] from Dodowa is, you know, giving us some information that we need to know about health and safety. Risks bacterias and pathogens. Raw turkey often contains dangerous germs like salmonella, called clostridium fr- Oh Jesus, these are very scientific words. Yeah, perfringens and campylobacter.
Oh, that sounds like Yeah. Which cause food poisoning. This is Lucky from Dodowa. Um we're not talking about the raw one though. That's why you're meant to cook it so you don't get salmonella. So, that's why you're supposed to cook it very well. And I mean, you also have salmonella in raw chicken. So, that's why you are supposed to probably cook it very well and clean the areas that you have cut the chicken and the turkey so you wouldn't contract salmonella. I'm just interested how people are interested in this particular Because people Because people eat it a lot. Wow. So, actually, the statement from the FDA The Food and Drugs Authority has reminded the public about the ban on importation of Tek Tail, commonly known as "Trophy" in Ghana. Despite the ban, which was instituted 1999 due to Tek Tail's excessively high fat content and associated health risk, it's still in many markets uh where it's openly sold. So, I underline the word "openly sold." So, if FDA goes there, they will see the people who are selling them.
>> In a public notice issued yesterday, the Food and Drugs Authority stated that the ban was instituted to cover Tek Tail and other poultry product with over 15% fat content. So, there are other poultry products. So, let's know the other poultry products as well. The health risk FDA highlighted that the consumption of such products uh poses serious health risk, including obesity, high cholesterol, and heart-related diseases. The ban forms part of efforts to promote healthier um eating habit and protect public health. The advice to the public The FDA therefore advises the public to stay away from these products, the authority's statement stated. The public is encouraged to make informed food choices and prioritize their health by avoiding banned or unwholesome poultry product.
So, that is what came from the Food and Drugs Authority.
>> talking about You know, if you're talking about other um poultry products >> Yeah, we should know the other poultry products as well.
>> Because um when you look at a chicken Yeah. Do you know there are some part of the chicken >> You're not supposed to take. No, it has more fat than other parts.
Wow. So, basically, if you're looking for to get more protein in a chicken, the best place you're supposed to eat in the chicken is a chicken breast.
Wow. Yes. So the chicken wings and the chicken thighs actually and the drumsticks actually have more fat than the chicken breast.
>> [laughter] >> So guys, I think this is the last one.
Good morning. I can't stop eating.
I Have you eaten chofi and banku before?
They should forget. My name is Barbara from Is it Barbara? Barbara?
Anyway, I think I think I think we've had enough of We've had enough with the with the chofi thing. So I think free advice coming from the public people who called, maybe you'd have to want to disseminate the information well in the local dialect. Because people actually called asking for that saying that also there's also another side to it if it's been banned from 1999, 27 years and we are not saying that particular information go down well.
That tells you that there's a problem somewhere that has to be dealt with. So maybe the FDA may want to change the style of communication. Now for us the media, we'll definitely talk about it.
There are other questions that are supposed to be answered. Is there a big market?
How are we getting this particular product into the the system and a number of things. But the Food and Drugs Authority, why not? We are here available for you.
