The latter half of the night is predominately by REM sleep.
And so if we rob ourselves of the first few hours of sleep assuming someone is a 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. sleeper, that's their 8-hour window.
Well, yeah, they're going to rob themselves of more deep sleep.
