Why Coaching is the Ultimate Business "Trojan Horse"

I mean my distortion is of of of of a person that has one foot in philosophy and understanding the power of ideas and one foot in wealth creation and like the the you know, sometimes the complexity of making something happen and real with you know, with your customers and what they want in the market and the product >> product market fit >> How do you see yourself as this new intellectual which is How do you see yourself in those two worlds?

[00:00:37]>> I think I love what's happening in the modern world with coaching.

[00:00:43]Because it's a it's a wrapper for old school mentoring, you know, being a master, being, you know, being in the Aristotle class, right? And and coaching is a nice because it's an intellectual frame that's about action.

[00:01:04]>> Yeah.

[00:01:05]>> Yeah.

[00:01:05]>> All all coaching setups, whether they're groups or one-on-one, you're really just talking about your thinking, right?

[00:01:11]Because it's a coaching is not training.

[00:01:14]>> Right, you're not like doing a coaching session and you're training for a certain thing. You're not practicing.

[00:01:18]You're actually talking about what you're going to do.

[00:01:21]>> And you're talking about why you're going to do it and why and what you're not going to do.

[00:01:24]>> And how you're going to win.

[00:01:25]>> And how you're going to win.

[00:01:26]>> Yeah.

[00:01:26]>> And how and how a lot of things are going to win.

[00:01:30]Like you, the company, the group, the team.

[00:01:34]So I love being a coach and I love being coached and I think it's like this Trojan horse of a concept to get people to appreciate thinking about ideas.
