Children who grow up in households where parents engage in criminal activities and expose them to violence are significantly more likely to develop criminal behaviors themselves, as they learn these patterns through observation and may be groomed or coerced into participating in criminal activities by their parents.

>> You what?
>> That's her daughter.
>> Okay.
>> So, when they when they left, how long was it from when they left out of here to when y'all called the police? Was it right away?
>> He called He called y'all before my mom been left out.

>> Gucci. One of Gucci mask on. Some kind of boots on. Slouchy little.
>> You always can tell a Pooky boy. Pooky the only one that you will ever see sitting up there on the camera with the filter and hearts just just emasculated just who the did y'all peep that right we nosy I hope y'all ain't being I hope y'all ain't half stepping good breads did y'all peep the identification of the dude that did the robbery and he was sitting up there like this all feminine with the little purple and the hearts just glooming and he just all behind the filter. I ain't never ever take a picture with the filter on, bro. Ever.
>> You know what's the meaning? He like, man, you going to do what you going to do to him.
>> What the gun look like?
>> Silver.
>> It's like back.
>> It's like it's got a spinny thing.
So, you was back in that room for an hour with them while they was trying to get money with you?
>> I woke up.

>> So, they came in, kept you back there because they thought you had more money.
>> Samantha went back there.
>> Samantha was What was she doing?
>> I know.
>> What was What was she doing this whole time?
>> She want my daughter at you. Shut up.
>> Go ahead.
>> You tell one them guy was with her. what he was born with. He search somebody up said what you know dude you know and he grabbed her hair searched her >> they searched her got >> okay >> cuz he thought if I had her >> is Samantha your mom >> okay y'all ever hear your mom or anything like that making plans to set this up >> I mean my mom was like trying to take his card and money off his card and all that is her boyfriend and she was sitting back there but it happened I mean, she's at tight, so >> she done stuff like that before.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> With me like >> Yeah, she's she does, too.
>> How old are you?
>> 16.
>> How old are you?
>> 18.
>> 18.
>> Hey, you guys. Stop right there.
>> Hey, man. Someone said they got robbed just over at um >> Yeah, them kids is at that age where they need that information. and they about to really hit the cusp and life really about to start lifing for them.
And to not have a supporting cast behind you is going to be 10 times rougher, y'all. For them kids right there. I feel for them, bro. I mean, you can already tell that they've been through this and they kind of found their little comfort zone in work and dealing with the fact that their mother is just out there. But that don't make it all right. It don't make it all right.
and they said that there was a dude in um a hoodie and jeans and the other guy had blue shorts and a black jacket. So I roll by and I see jeans and blue shorts.
So I just got to make sure that you guys aren't involved in it. All right.
>> Questioning you want to do?
>> Yeah. Yeah. I just got to make sure if you guys are involved or not or whatever. But they did say that there was a gun involved. So do you guys have any weapons on you at all?
>> I'm I don't need to talk guns, bro.
>> Okay. Would you mind? I'm just going to pat you down just to make sure you don't have anything. Okay.
>> You know what I'm saying?
>> There's just something that we got to do. Okay.
>> Anthony, will you just sit on the ground for me?
>> Anthony, just sit on the ground for me.
>> Just take a seat, man. Just going to pat you down real quick. M got >> Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> Go ahead and >> go ahead and put your hand over your head. Okay.
>> Thank you.
I feel about everything I got.
I ain't got none.
>> Go ahead and have a seat. Both of you have a seat. Have a seat.
>> Both of you, man.
>> Sit down. Sit down.
>> All right. Well, let's take the Let's take the bag off first.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Both of them.
>> Hey, Pat, talk to you.
>> Yeah. One second, my man. Hey, just just do what that officer's telling you.
Okay, >> you have the 32.
>> It's It's right over there.
>> That was quick.
>> That's the last I'm telling you. Stop around.
>> Stop.
>> So, I'm tell you we have two people right now in custody um that match the descriptions that y'all gave. So, >> what what name?
>> I don't I don't I didn't hear the names, but what I want to try to do is see if y'all would ride with me over to where they are and identify them.
>> Come on.
>> Would you be willing to do that? I won't tell you your boyfriend.
>> It's okay.
>> Well, I do it. They didn't rob me. They didn't rob them. No way. Look, I showed y'all a picture that >> Yeah. I don't want to rob me, man.
>> I understand. It's fine.
>> I want some.
>> My mom go Yeah, I understand.
>> She's not with him.
>> I don't know where she >> You don't know where she would have gone.
>> Did she Does she got folks in here that she hang out with that she would have run somewhere?
>> I don't know where they stay though because I don't go out there with her, but I know she she does. Okay.
>> All you got to do is put a number.
>> H [laughter] say all you got to do is put a warrant on.
>> This is not even a safety cuz her head down here sometimes.
>> Where's your daughter at now?
>> Oh, she her dad though.
>> But she My mom's going to come back here probably about >> It's no wonder she got a daughter. It's no wonder she already got a child. She was what? She 18. He's 16. She 18, right? That's what they said. It's no wonder cuz when you when these kids be feeling neglected and they don't have somebody that love them, then they'll go create a baby just so that they can get that they can seek that validation from that child. And then that's why they be that's why they become mothers. They don't become mothers to be a mother.
They become mothers to love on the child and and replace that neglect that they felt. And this is why you get the horrible upbringing of these kids cuz the mother never really wanted to be a mother to begin with.
>> But she lives here so she don't got nowhere else to go.
>> She gets away with it cuz police always never catch her. So >> well that don't sound like it's going to be the case tonight but we'll see.
>> Well, who made the call?
>> Talk to him a minute. Somebody else talking to him right now. Okay.
>> So what I'm being char what I'm being charged with that? What I'm being charged with you know in a minute right now >> I'm just going to stay with the 1032 if you want.
>> Take a seat for me.
>> What's your [snorts] name?
>> What's your date of birth?
>> Five.
>> All right. Put your feet in.
>> All right. I'm my cousin.
>> Your cousin. Okay. Somebody said that there was a a robbery involving a gun and matching the description and they match the description of two people that they said. So right now >> you know and y'all found the pistol.
>> Yeah. Was that you say it was your cousin?
>> Yeah, I was in his in his drawers. So >> y'all going to take the book bag.
>> You understand what I just read to you?
>> Can you >> Yo, y'all better snatch her. Y'all better snatch her. That might be the girlfriend. That might be the mother right there. Y'all what?
Like y'all going to let the moms get away? That might be the mother. And she worried about the book bag, too. She like, "Y'all going to take the book bag?" That's where the drugs is at, y'all. That's where all the That's where it's all at.
>> Mr. Sure.
>> I understand, man.
>> You understand? Okay.
>> Actually, can you get the uh the victim and bring him over?
>> Oh, what the [ __ ] They pick that up.
[laughter] >> Why didn't they just pick that up?
>> 40. or you can go ahead and do criminal histories on both.
>> All right, Anthony, look.
>> You're honestly You're in a bad spot right now, okay?
>> So, I need you I just need you to be honest with me, all right? So, we can figure out what happened. They were already talking to Tommy over there.
We've already got we've already got you two together and we've already got a gun. So, and and there's some drugs involved, too. So, like where do you fit into all that?
>> Cuz me and her date me and her date.
Okay.
>> Okay. So, you're over there at Tommy's place with that girl.
>> Tommy's place. It's not his place.
>> No. Okay.
>> I stay there. I live there. But they fussing and we got arguing. I left and I come back.
>> Who was arguing?
>> We was arguing earlier.
>> You and Tommy?
>> No.
>> You and the girl you're talking about whose name you can't remember?
>> Sam. Sam.
>> Sam. Is it short for Samantha or >> Samantha? Sam.
>> Okay. Okay.
>> Okay.
>> How long you been staying there? Cuz you're barred from housing, are you?
>> No, >> you're not. Maybe that was the other guy.
>> No.
>> Okay. So, how so how long you been staying with her?
>> I've been staying here for like three, four months.
>> Okay. Before recently when I talked to you, you you were just staying out on the on the street.
>> On the street, but I've been staying here off and off about three, four months.
>> Off and on.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. This guy pulled a gun on Tommy.
>> Tommy knows.
>> I see that.
They said they said >> All right. Well, did Tommy give that guy anything?
>> Let me rephrase that. What did Tommy give him?
>> I don't know. I'm tell owe him some money or whatever. I don't I don't I don't get I don't want to get in all that.
>> You're already in it, man.
>> Here you are.
>> I get in.
>> You're walking with him. And And what's your nickname?
>> What's my nickname?
>> Yeah. What's the nickname? People call you sometimes.
You >> know, I'm Tony.
>> Huh? Huh?
>> Yeah. Tony. But what what's your other nickname? They don't call you Peewee.
>> Pew.
>> They call you that, right?
>> No.
>> Yeah. So, is Tommy saying you took his phone at some point?
>> I took his phone.
>> Did Has he accused you of that?
>> He's never said that to you.
>> This I I don't have a phone.
>> Okay. Okay. You're not acting like yourself right now. So, what do you >> I need my medicine, man.
>> What medicine do you take? I take my my blood pressure medicine and I ain't tell my doctor nothing.
>> Okay.
Anything else you do?
>> All right. Anything else? Did you take any drugs tonight? I'm not here to judge you for it. I just want to make sure you're all right.
>> I'm kind of nervous cuz y'all nervous.
>> I see you on Sundays, man. You recognize me, right?
>> Yeah. At the church.
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah.
That's why I want to talk to you, man.
Cuz I'm nervous. And >> you nervous, brother. be at the church on Sunday smoking, you know, [laughter] you already know, smoking dope the rest of the weekend. Yo, how hypocritical is that? And this the one that was behind the filter right here. This the one you >> I know we were arguing earlier today.
You know, I left home. Hey, all my clothes, my boots, my shoe up here.
>> Which side were they on?
>> This side. Oh, there we go.
>> There it is.
>> There we go.
>> That's the blood pressure medication you need.
>> I don't know yet. I'm about to point out >> medication that you're talking about.
>> What's that?
>> Anthony, put your feet in the car.
>> Put your feet in, man.
>> What is it?
>> Uh, one looks like Go ahead and put your feet in. We'll talk about it some more in a minute. Okay.
>> You know exactly what it is.
>> Anthony, I need you to get in the car so we can close the door.
See, I don't know what the charge is on what it is now. Robbery, what?
>> We're going to get what exactly it is figured out in a minute or two, but um I think it's going to be armed robbery and u probably something to do with drugs as well.
>> All right.
>> You got any questions right now besides that?
>> The officer took the victim over to the two men and he confirmed that they were the ones that helped rob him. Then the woman officer drove him home.
Unfortunately, the woman wasn't found that night. So, they go back to the home a few days later.
>> You ain't catching no crackhead. Yo, and I told y'all should have snatched that little woman that y'all had. The one that was worried about the the book bag.
Yo, y'all let her go. Y'all let her go.
>> This is when her daughter explains to the officers that she's done things like this before in the past.
>> Somebody.
>> Hello.
>> Hey, I'm Detective Harrison. This is Detective Johnson. Is Samantha here? She will be home in a couple days.
>> Where do you think she's at >> in a couple days?
>> She's in commerce.
>> Do you mind if I step we step in and talk to you?
>> Are you her daughter at the Abriana? Is that correct? Okay. Um, so I'm here to follow up on what happened, you know, the other night that got reported with Tommy. Okay. So, you were here that night, correct? Can you tell me what happened? Um, I heard about your yelling and stuff, so I came out here and um um there was two guys had a mask on and then they came all the way out here with them and I was sitting right here and then my brother's standing right there and they had like a gun pointing at them and stuff like that and then my mom, she's just standing here like they did it for her. She set it up or whatever cuz she does like drugs and she doing all that all that stuff. This is why these kids is numb to the violence. They numb to death. Look what they endured.
Remember, these kids make when they get older, they make decisions off of their childhood experience. You know what I mean? That's where I tell y'all to go look up ACCE, your adverse childhood experience, because that's where you get your that's where you get all your information from. So this is why we have a lot of kids just out there numb to [ __ ] We see them jumping on each other, you know what I mean? And it starts at a young age. 16, 17 year olds just jumping at each other. We had a big time shooting in New York where a 15y old got got by another by another little 15y old on the basketball court. Like they're just numb because this is the [ __ ] that they see in them households, bro. Everything starts at home, bro.
People don't just magically walk outside and be disrespectful and nah it nothing magic about it, bro.
>> So, so that's what made her do it. And um after that, they all three just uh took off running. Okay.
>> Before the female police officer had got here.
>> Okay.
>> Okay. How do you know your mom set it up? Um because the dude had a card and she was telling me like keep his card and take all his money off his card and don't say nothing to y'all and trying to tell me what to say and stuff. And it's just how my mom does. So, >> okay.
>> And she she was grooming you. She was grooming you. She was grooming you. And then when your money get low, you gonna start in them stores. You gonna start with Walmart. You know what I mean? You gonna start with Walmart. But that's how they groom their kids to be little thieves.
Peep game. Y'all, this the stuff they hide. You know what I mean? It's not cool to talk about.
>> Knows him. They the person that she set up um they had a relationship for like 10 years before. So just like she didn't know what she was doing.
>> Okay.
>> And she left the guy in he was hiding and everything and then she let him in and they came out there with the gun and everything. So >> Okay. Who did she let in?
>> Um her boyfriend's name is Peewee.
>> Peeweee. Okay. What about the other guy?
The other guy was already in here, but the way he got back there, I'm guessing like my mom left him in there, too, because that's her room that they was in. So, she was standing in there with them.
>> Okay. And then >> the whole thing.
>> How does your mom know the other guy?
Does your mom know the other guy?
>> She by um like >> Okay. So, the young guys the young guy >> you know his name?
>> Donovan. Donovan.
>> Okay. Okay. Um, and like so while all this is going on, your mom is telling you to take money off of Tommy's card.
>> Yeah. Um, cuz he sent us to the store to go get something, came back. That's what they were trying to steal. His card. He didn't have nothing for them to rob him, but my mom was trying to take all his money off his card and everything like that.
>> So, what do you mean y'all went to the store?
>> Um, to get snacks and stuff like that at first. That's what he gave her the car for, but he didn't he came over to do that. He didn't know none of that was going to happen. My mom just did it. So, >> okay. So, did Tommy go to the store with you guys or did >> No, he sent me and my mom cuz my mom don't have a car, so we had to walk to the store.
>> Okay. About what time did you go there?
>> Uh, it was like dark outside. So, maybe like 7 or 8.
>> Okay.
>> But you used Tommy's card.
>> Yeah, he gave it to my mom.
>> Okay. Okay. But then when was your mom telling you to take money off of it?
>> Um, which we came back in here. We went in my room and she sat on my bed and then she was like whispering and stuff like that and I was like I'm not going to do that cuz I'm not going to be involved in that. Turns out he didn't.
He only had three dogs on car anyway that they was trying to steal them for.
>> And so you came back from the store with your mom and she's telling you to do that. What did your mom do after that?
>> Them two went back there in the room and everything was fine. Me and my brother sleep cuz uh my daughter, she was going to but me and my brother were asleep. I came out to please don't put the gun down. Don't kill me. blah blah blah. My mom's telling her, "Give us your stuff.
Give us your stuff." So, she was a part of it just so your mom, you heard your mom.
>> I heard me and my brother came out and I'm just like, "What?" Like, cuz this happens a lot. They're either fussing, somebody's like fighting something. Me and my brother come out and then Yeah.
They make they throw the man shoes off and everything. They do it to where it's in the living room and I'm sitting right there. They're literally beside y'all doing it. So, at this point, I'm just watching it.
>> Okay. And the police female police officer came. I told her like everything who it was and all that.
>> Yeah. And then did both of the guys have a gun?
>> Um, no. It was a Did y'all get It's a silver one, right? Okay. It's um >> It's not P's gun. It's Donovan's gun, but Donovan gave it to PB.
>> Okay.
>> So PB was the one that had it and he was doing a >> But you heard your mom say like just give stuff.
>> Yeah. He was she was like just cooperate. um just saying stuff like that, cussing him out, you know.
>> Um he's gonna do it, he's gonna shoot you, you know, >> I'm not I'm saying I don't got nothing to do with it. And she's going telling everybody like me and my brother snitching. So she's trying to like hide and stuff like that.
>> But who's the other guy?
>> Peewee.
>> Yeah, Peewee. Who is he?
>> That's my [clears throat] mom's boyfriend. Like they be like they be back there like they do drugs and stuff together. So like one they rob the people for that reason too cuz she sits there and sells herself too. But um that's her boyfriend and he just got out of jail like a couple weeks ago too. So >> correct their drug of choice. Okay.
>> Yeah, that's what she she ain't been home two days.
>> Have you ever seen your mom do this before?
>> Set somebody up.
>> Yeah.
>> I haven't seen it as bad, but like she will invite men over here or whatever and then he will come in here and like they'll fight him and then most of the time they give them what they want them because I mean he's a big guy.
>> Okay. When When's the last time before the Tommy thing that you had seen that?
>> I'll say probably like three weeks or something like that.
>> Okay.
>> Cuz normally it's just like a them two are fighting over but then like when they get low on money, you know, they got to set stuff up. So >> I guess >> how does your mom set it up?
>> Honestly, I don't know cuz like I'm I only know when I hear fighting and stuff that I know something's going on. But I'm assuming like she sneaks on because he don't know she has a phone. She sneaks on her phone and text them on Messenger. She does it like that. That's the only way she could. Okay.
>> And she knows a lot of people out here.
So >> Okay. But it's your understanding that whenever they're >> low on funds to get drugs, she'll invite another guy over and then and then Peewee will come in there and >> take their stuff, take their money and whatnot.
>> Yeah. and pee and sometimes my mom would try to do it herself trying [clears throat] to sit with them for it and pee like the back door be locked and she gave him a key. So he'll come in and see a guy in here and you know he gets mad cuz >> they're supposed to be dating. Yeah.
>> So he'll go in there like him and start fight and fight and all that stuff.
>> Okay.
>> Then Yeah. The guy they'll fight the guy next thing you know.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. What is Tommy's relationship with your mom still? And >> like I'm not going to lie, he still be giving her drugs. Like she be buying drugs and money. He'll give her money.
Like that's her ex. So like when she needs something, he comes and does it.
And he didn't know nothing about her boyfriend. So >> Okay. Would he have come through the front door when he got back? So you think >> the dude was sitting there waiting at the back? So it was planned. It was planned. But yeah, sitting there waiting at the back.
>> Okay. Based on your understanding and what you've seen and heard, you think your mom had everything to do with this robber? She's in commerce right now.
Like literally, she's telling everybody like, "I'm a [ __ ] and blah blah blah cuz I'm telling y'all." And she's just like saying a whole bunch of stuff that if something happens, I can't say nothing. Like that's why I'm saying like kind of a threatening thing. Like >> Yeah.
>> What do you mean? Okay.
>> But she's like, "Yeah, she's in comics right now riding around, making money, selling drugs. That's exactly what she's doing."
>> Well, she prostitute >> basically. That's what it's called.
>> Is that what she's doing?
>> Yeah, basically.
>> Okay. Is it just you and your brother that live here? You said you had a daughter. Is that right?
>> Yeah, my daughter's here, but it's just me and my daughter here.
>> Okay. Where does your brother stay at?
>> He went He stays here, too. But um he went to LA with my uncle for a business trip for a couple days.
>> Oh, okay.
>> He left this morning. He was here for the night, too, though.
>> Okay. And you're 18, right? An adult.
Okay.
>> You say something like um that she let him in. They were hiding. Were you talking about like he was hiding in the back or >> No, by this door right here. She gives him a key, but she had unlocked it. And um when the man came back there, my mom came in here and apparently told him like, "Hey, he's back here." So, you know what I'm saying? And then he let him in to come back there. They had literally masked them. So, let's >> Were they inside when Tommy got here or were they out back?
>> Yeah, cuz Tom like Tom didn't know any of the guys here. She told him there was nobody here but me but me and my brother. So she had been waiting out there to open the door and you know came in with their mask on everything. I can't see the mask. One on was camo and one on was black I think.
>> Okay. But but you know that ham guy though like if you saw him again like you know him and obviously you know peewee. Okay.
>> All right. Do you think it was their intention to take Tommy away from here to get more money?
>> I don't know about for uh was it Donovan but for Pee-Wee? Yeah. the stuff they do like if something don't go right like they'll pressure people you know do stuff like that and of course people won't do what they say to them try >> I'm going to leave you my card if your mom comes back or or whatever the case may be um tell her to reach out to me okay >> okay >> all right um and I do appreciate it okay you have a good day okay >> the boyfriend was booked for robbery false imprisonment firearm possession during crime possession of Coca-Cola poss possession of firearm by convicted felon, an illegal substance within 1,000 ft of a housing project.
