The video captures the unsettling irony of selective solidarity, where shared xenophobia temporarily bridges deep-seated racial divides. It highlights how economic anxiety can reshape historical prejudices into new, exclusionary forms of national identity.

NATION IN CRISIS: WHITE SOUTH AFRICANS SPEAK OUT AFTER HORRIFIC ATTACKS ON BLACK PEOPLEAdded:
So the dream of Nelson Mandela and many black South Africans especially is to have a country that's a true rainbow nation where blacks and whites are friends like real friends not just boss and workers when blacks and whites marry each other not just white marrying the black girls from time to time but the other way around too where the black boy can actually marry the white girl. Now the reality is very different right now.
Listen, in South Africa, you get multiple types of white. And I think in this video, we're going to see the two different types of white people. They are the ones that accept black people for some reason, and they are the ones that really don't like them. Let's watch this.
>> Should we apologize for the deeds of our ancestors?
Then we are apologizing for our very existence today.
>> A man says, "I don't want to apologize for my ancestor. Whatever they did, it was good. And you know what they did?
Now, let's see the other white guy.
>> You know, let me give you a little bit of history about township economy.
And on the back of the 30th of June, which I support March and March.
Okay. So, the man support the 30th of June. He supports the fact that all black people of other African countries must leave South Africa. So you you see the balance. But let's go through the first guy, which is this guy, the one that supports the movement that wants black people to leave South Africa. Then we'll go to the other white guy. All right, let's go.
You know, let me give you a little bit of history about township economy and on the back of the 30th of June, which I support March and March and I support Zoros and I support Justinta Mang Zuma and I'm grateful too. Now, this is very good because many people say that a lot of black South Africans were not happy that white South Africans were not joining the movement of kicking out black foreigners. And a lot of people say, well, because white South Africans don't have the same problems or same issues as you that's the reason why they're not joining. But I think by seeing this white guy getting involved and supporting the march, a lot of black people from South Africa who do not want uh foreigners in the country are very very happy. Now the white are coming together. Let's continue.
>> Everybody who's making a a stand against this, you know, the white regime, the evil regime that initiated a partate sent to live on the fringes and the outskirts of the major cities.
>> So the evil regime of white people sent our people to go live in the fringes of the country. Who's our people? He's talking about black people. So some people will say, "Okay, so the man is kind of joining the black people. I'm your brother. Those white people that were cruel, I don't recognize them. I don't like them. I'm I'm one of yours, you know, so you should not look at me as a as a dangerous white man. I'm a good man. Okay? But I support you kicking out other black people." Let's continue. Is a disgrace. the most heinous atrocity against humankind in modern history.
>> So the the white people in the past were a disgrace. They did the most heinous things in the history. Let's continue.
>> Was absolutely aborant and there's a lot that needs to be done to correct those wrongs.
>> Okay, I'm not one of them. Okay, I'm I'm one of you. I hate what my ancestors did. I'm one of you. you know, you should look at me different. I also don't want those black people from other African countries to be in our country.
Let's continue.
>> Where our people went into the townships, forced out by my forefathers or great forefathers.
>> When our people were forced out, our people is black people. When our black people were forced out by my grandfather, who I don't know if they are really my people or not because I don't agree with them. Let's continue.
Anyway, >> people had to make a life for themselves. And so they built their own economy. People started because transport was so expensive and because there was no infrastructure, our people, >> our black people had to start an economy. This is what somebody would say. You know, our black people needed to find a way to create an economy.
Let's continue.
>> Who were living in those areas and still are built their own economy. They the the spasa shop was born out of that era and continues to thrive today. The taverns, the shabines, the plumbers, the electricians, the engineers, the contractors, they had to our people had to find their own.
>> Our black people had to find their own way >> to sustain themselves in what these absolute evil people. these absolute evil people that I'm related to did to our black people. I'm just trying to interpret the way somebody else would interpret what he's saying. Did to our people and I'm talking about our evil apartate regime. So our people have built our township economies because and you can argue until the cows come home.
Our people have in South Africa have an enormous entrepreneurial.
>> Our black people in South Africa are great entrepreneurs >> and are arguably the best entrepreneurs in the world.
>> Arguably the best entrepreneurs in the world don't agree with that at all and statistic unfortunately do not agree either. Put my feelings aside, okay?
Statistics don't agree that black South Africans are the most entrepreneur in the world. It's a lie. Ugandans are you can check statistics. I'm not sure when it's changed. It's not black South Africans and this has nothing to do with we're just trying to state facts. Okay, let's continue.
>> And I'm not talking about people who build corporates. I'm talking about people who build and sustain industry in the townships.
>> Okay. So, South Africans are the best entrepreneur in the world. I'm not talking about the rich ones. The rich ones are not the best entrepreneur in the world. I'm talking about the poor black ones are the best entrepreneur in the world >> that sustain the the people who live there.
The taxi industry was born out of this.
It revolutionized transport and our people are entrepreneurs and our people work. And for these illegal immigrants to say South Africans are lazy, go back in time and have a look and see what our people have built. So what is very interesting is you know you people come from other African countries. You come into my country and you dare speak to my black people that they're lazy. I mean they were not lazy during the time when my ancestors beat them my evil ancestors. They've been strong since then. They the strongest people. You cannot dare come into my country and tell my black people. Even if my ancestors did absolutely inest things to them which I totally disagree with because I'm a different type of man. I'm not like them. You can't come in my country and tell me that my black people are lazy. Let's continue.
And you you you have to understand that that belongs to us, our people, our South African people who have suffered through decades of abuse, who have suffered through decades of absolute oppression that that you illegal immigrants will probably never understand. You illegal black immigrants will never understand.
You just need an emphasis on that because plenty of white illegal immigrants. They don't open spas shop for sure but they in the market you know online marketing it's still within the space of South Africa you know many of the things insuranceances and many other with Yeah.
And now you have the absolute cheek to come onto our shores and take over spasa shops and to take spas shops and threaten our people often with violence.
>> So you take over spas shop and threaten our people with violence.
That sound like you came with guns and put guns on their head and tell them to piss off. We taking over the shops.
Doesn't that sound like that to you? Or does it sound like somebody that started in a corner very slowly two, three, four, five braids and stuff? I don't know. Let's continue.
>> It's a disgrace that belongs to us, to our people, the people who built it and the people who own it. And well done to our people. So for you illegal immigrants to come here and open spasa shops and to manufacture many of you fake product and sell expired product and product that in many cases makes our people and children sick is a disgrace.
And for you to stand in in this country and tell us that you are here to stay and that you've got rights. You don't have rights.
You're a visitor in our country and that's all you are is a visitor.
>> You're a visitor. That's all you are.
You're a visitor.
>> Visitor. You're welcome.
When your visitor's permit, visa, pink slip, whatever you want to call it, expires, go home.
>> Go home. You must go home.
>> And that's what you should be doing. We welcome tourists. We love tourists.
>> We love building our economy. We love people to come and enjoy. Don't blame me because I'm white, because I'm South African. Okay, my ancestor these absolute wrong things and I don't agree with them. They're not my people anymore. My people are the black people that's working hard and I support them kicking out the black people out of the country. These black people must leave.
We only support one type of black people. We don't want these other black people >> to come and enjoy South Africa. But we don't want people to come and enjoy South Africa and then make it their home illegally. It's very interesting what he said. I really support it. South Africans need to own the economy 100%.
I also feel South Africans should own the big economy, not just the spa shops and the shabines and the the bars and the Yeah.
Do you agree with me? Okay. Let's listen to the other white person who has something very interesting to say about this. So as much as it is very interesting, you know, like I say, a lot of black South Africans. Once we see a South Africa where black people and white people have actually framed, you know, they hope that white people will join the march and march and and all this stuff, you know, kicking out foreigners. They hope for this. If you see these videos, many many likes when a white person is really black people, they love it. Oh, there's a different type of white people here. Let's let's listen to them. Do you think that the previous white person was saying things just to please black people? You know, like I'm not your enemy. your enemy.
Actually, those other black people out there, it's not us. I actually support you. You must kick them out, you know, so we can remain. We We know each other.
We've dealt with one another. You do that a lot. Let's listen to this man.
>> Should we apologize for the deeds of our ancestors?
Then we are apologizing for our very existence today.
It is the sacrifices made by our ancestors that has rendered it possible for us to be alive. Wow. Well, this is clearly a very different kind of white South African. Yeah. This one doesn't want to sugar coat, you know, however he feels.
He's putting it on your face. He's not going to say, you know, our people didn't do that, you know, and I'm different for my people did that. This one doesn't give a flying duck. Let's continue >> today.
So, we will never apologize for that.
>> We will never apologize.
>> I will never apologize for my existence, the existence of my children, or the existence of my racial kin. say for hurting you, but say I'm not going to apologize for something. Why? What do you apologize for? You apologize for doing something wrong, even if you don't name it. Let's go.
>> My racial kin.
You see, Europeans are very fortunate in the sense, >> Wow. Europeans are very fortunate in a sense, which you're not. Europeans are fortunate in a sense, but you guys are not. Let's continue. that our ancestors have left us written history.
>> Wow. Our ancestors actually wrote, yours didn't.
>> We have a rich history which we couldn't read through in an entire lifetime.
>> Okay? So that's easy. English means we have so much written stuff we could read until we did and we will never finish reading what our ancestors left. You guys not. You don't have that.
You see, Europeans have a rich history of producing incredible men, great men.
>> We have a rich history of producing incredible men, not you.
>> Men that were willing to do whatever is necessary for their people to survive.
You see, men like Alexander the Great.
>> Is he talking to black foreigners who are taking in the tax shops? And I don't know. Is he talking to black South Africans? Let's go. like Alexander the Great, men like Julius Caesar, Marcus Aurelius, the millions of men that fought in the Crusades, men like King Baldwin and the great King Alfred. Do you know who's King Alfred?
The man responsible for the formation of England.
Great men like Napoleon, >> right?
>> Men like Basmar, just to name a few.
>> Even here in South Africa, we have a rich history of great men. Men like Sier Andreas de President Stain >> this man there's nothing to do with kick the black people out of the country for him he knows his problem his problem is not them it's you actually all of you >> President Ker DF Malan Yuri Moni Maritz Robbie Liberant Mar and Yes.
>> Well, this man reads. He reads a lot.
Whether you like what he reads or not, the man does read. So, he knows who his enemies are.
>> Dr. Hendrik Ferv, >> these men might not have been good for you.
>> Whoa.
But they loved us.
>> Wow. So, these men that are alive, so many of you might have not been good for you, but they loved us. This guy is a contrast of the other guy saying that, well, my people were trying to work hard while my actual people were killing them. But I don't agree with my actual people because we need to kick out the black people. This one says, "My people may not have been good to you, but they were great for us.
>> They fought for us, and we are proud of them. We will never reject them.
We love them.
We are proud of them. We are proud of what they've done. We love them. This one, you'll never see me in the match.
He was not coming.
Let me know how you feel about this. I mean, it's one thing to love somebody so much you want them to be your friend. It's another thing for them to really love you. Then they can pretend. They can pretend. But the truth, the truth is, in a crooks. God bless.
