The Food and Drug Administration approved the first pill to prevent you from getting the virus after being exposed to somebody who already has it. Zocova is a 5-day regimen of pills. The drug maker says it blocks the virus from replicating before you get symptoms.

[00:00:24]During trials, the drug reduced the risk of getting symptomatic COVID by 67%.
