Merging the brutal cosmic nihilism of Liu Cixin with the soothing intimacy of ASMR creates a fascinatingly ironic intellectual experience. It is a brilliant way to contemplate the end of the universe while maintaining total sensory calm.

ASMR - Deaths End reviewAdded:
Hello.
Hello.
What's going on?
What's happening? What's happening?
We have another book review.
This is going to be the last book in the Three-Body Problem trilogy that I'm talking about today.
>> [snorts] >> Called Death's End.
But, right before we get into that, you already know what we have to do, the shout-outs.
Of my favorite humans.
Starting from the top.
We got Flamboyant Pickle.
Augusto Baligiolli.
Asalisi. Spoopy Sponge.
Delf. Unwillingly.
Cuttlefish. Elosis. Zappy. Botig.
Venuxar. One and Only Mate.
Axel Coin Wrath. Chilitza.
Double D Lish. Salicious or Saliscus.
And then Andy L. 8112.
These These are the current members of the jail.
These guys are all getting the member exclusive videos and early access to all the videos.
Along with obviously getting to be written down in the notebook and they get the shout-outs in every video.
And if you want to be part of that, then you can also be a member.
I would greatly greatly >> [clears throat] >> greatly greatly appreciate it.
But, you don't have to. You can watch these videos for free.
And I still appreciate it.
You can like, subscribe, do all the fancy pants stuff.
And that's plenty for me.
No pressure.
I I know I haven't said that yet, but I don't want to feel I don't want people to feel pressured or like they need to do something to be able to consume free content on the internet.
Anyways, let's talk about this book a little bit.
As you can tell, I beat the crap out of it.
Um I've never been the kind of person to take extra special care of my books.
Um I take them every everywhere with me and I beat them up. Not on purpose, but you know, I took this on vacation with me. So, I read this like at the beach and so like I got like water on it. It was heavily exposed to the sun.
Got a little bit of food on it. You know, I read it in the car. It sat in weird places and backpacks and stuff like that. So, it it it went through it all.
Uh trust me.
>> [clears throat] >> But, don't let its poor condition >> [snorts] >> trick you. This is an amazing book.
One of my favorite books of all time that I've read so far.
Um this year I read like so far, I want to say like 20-ish maybe 25 books.
Um I don't know.
And this is a very, very, very good competitor for like number one or at least this trilogy is.
Um >> [clears throat] >> So, I'll give a quick breakdown of what the trilogy is about trilogy is is about in case you have no clue what this is about. This is the Three-Body Problem series.
There's even like a show on Netflix apparently, but I haven't watched it. I have no clue if it's any good.
If you do, let me know though. But anyways, um This is a book.
It's a science fiction book about the discovery of alien beings in a different solar system.
And these aliens threaten to take Earth for themselves because they cannot survive for much longer on in their harsh conditions in their solar system where there happens to be three suns, hence the name The Three-Body Problem.
And that's its own big thing that I have gone into before in different videos.
Um if you're curious about the first book and the second book, I already did videos on them that you can watch.
But I'm going to stick to the third book obviously for this video.
Now, the second book basically ends with these aliens and humanity being in this like lingo where they have asserted a dark forest deterrence.
Which basically just means that if the aliens attack the humans, then the humans will send out a transmission that will effectively kill all humans and Trisolarans making their attack pointless.
But in this book, the sword holder, who is the person who is responsible for making that call, has to get transferred over to the next person.
And when that happens, the aliens make their move because they decide that they don't think that the new sword holder has the willpower to make that call.
I guess is the right word to say.
And that's kind of like the beginning plot of this book, which makes everything and sets everything into motion.
And then it gets into a ton of other stuff like this book really, really dives deep into different dimensions and deeper quantum physics.
Now I know that sounds scary, but I promise I promise.
If I can understand it, then you can.
It's not that deep. I I'm pretty stupid, so if I can wrap my head around it, then I'm pretty sure anybody watching this video can wrap their head around it.
If I can do it, you can, too.
It's very, very very interesting and based in the theorized realistic science.
Obviously, like light speed travel and stuff like that isn't realistic, but all the theories that their science is based off of are real theories that haven't been proven wrong yet.
And maybe theoretically could be true in like another 100 years or whatever.
We just We just don't have the technology and science to be able to disprove or prove them.
>> [clears throat] >> One of the cooler parts is like they really go into depth on how they managed to achieve light speed using like wave propulsion techniques and stuff like that. It's really, really cool.
Um anyway, this is a book review, not a book summary. I keep forgetting. Um Yeah, I love this book.
I love the trilogy.
Um the entire series is amazing. One of my favorite series, if not my favorite series of all time.
And if you want something to compare it to, I think this book this series might be better than the Red Rising series.
Um um it's hard to It's hard to make that call cuz it's been a little while since I've read the original trilogy, but I mean, it's up there. Like these are really, really good books, and I really enjoyed them.
But um yeah, that's that's something for me to say to try and put it in perspective how much I enjoyed these books.
Um I gave this book a five out of five. I gave The Dark Forest a four out of five.
And The Three-Body Problem, the first one, a five out of five.
So, whatever that math is, you know, 14 / 3, um an average, but yeah, seriously, like it might I I guess it might be I might technically have it tied with Red Rising, the original trilogy.
But yeah, seriously, an amazing book and amazing series if you like sci-fi stuff, futuristic kind of stuff, but it's still grounded or at least attempted to be grounded in reality, then you'll love this series. Um at least I hope.
I hope you would because I'm hyping it up a lot.
Um But yeah, this book is also gets kind of like I like how it gets a little philosophical, too, in a way. It doesn't just stay purely in the world of science. It Well, it goes it does, but it brings science and philosophy together in a few different ways.
And it really makes you think about a lot of different things in the world.
And how science and the conscious beings making decisions that are seemingly minute could be very large and grandeur in the large scale of things, I guess.
If you like that kind of like eerie like scientific eerie Saunders kind of feeling in a book, then you'll really like this series.
I guess that's the best way for me to put it.
But yeah, I mean, I could talk about the science and the ethics and morals in these books for days.
And the characters are all super cool.
Um I wasn't the biggest fan of the main character in this book because she made a lot of silly mistakes.
But, I guess that's not really fair because that's kind of like just who her character is.
It's basically she's a person that was put into a position of heavy, heavy responsibility while she also has a very strong sense of morals and ethics and refuses to break her own morals.
And so that leads to a lot of mishaps.
So maybe not liking her is not fair, but I don't know.
But it didn't put me off of the book in any way though just because of how many characters there are in the book and how good they all are.
And I don't know. It's just an amazing book.
It's an amazing series and I couldn't recommend it enough.
But yeah, I think that's it for me. I I don't want to take up too much time here.
Hopefully my phone has the computing ability to upload the video considering it's almost 13 minutes long. But yeah, hopefully this gave you a good idea as to whether or not you want to watch or read the book.
