Charlie Brown and his friends had had fun all year long. There were special things to do in every season of the year.
In springtime, they flew kites. "Oh, no," said Charlie Brown.
"Not again! The kite is stuck in the tree."
If you know the series of books, he called it the kite-eating tree.
Huh.
The grass was turning green.
Pretty flowers were blooming.
"Hey, Schroeder," Lucy said. "I picked them for you myself."
But Schroeder was too busy.
Ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding Uh Snoopy.
"These gentle breezes make me sleepy.
I'm going to take my nap early today."
And look at Woodstock on his belly.
Snoopy enjoys the sweet spring air.

Charlie Brown and Sally built a sand castle when they went to the beach.
"Finished at last," Charlie Brown said with a sigh.
"Don't look out," said Sally, "but here comes a wave."
Summer seemed short. It wasn't long before autumn arrived. The leaves changed color and fell to the ground.
"Good grief," said Charlie Brown.
"Do we have to rake up all these leaves into a pile?"
Well, you have gum trees, evergreens.
Snoopy went for a hike. Woodstock and his cousins went along. Do do do do do do do. "Stay in line, fellows, so we don't get lost."
Well, if you get lost, we're all going to get lost.
When the air got crisp, it was time to crave scary pumpkin faces and to go on trick-or-treating for Halloween. Must be clue in October.
It was also time to play football.
Please don't pull the ball away before I kick it, Charlie Brown, big Lucy. And he would run up in the other ones and boom, kick it and land on his back.
And sigh deeply.
When winter arrived, everyone played in the snow. The pond froze. Snoopy and Charlie Brown slid without any skates.
Like a Lucy making a snowman.
Linus over there making Oh, it was Woodstock making the snow tree. It looks like Linus is making snowballs.
Later, Snoopy went sledding with Linus.
Whoosh. I hope you know how to stop this thing, cried Linus.
Snoopy's got a question. I'm not really sure.
Every year I get out these lights and every year they don't work. But they look pretty anyway. Snoopy decorated his doghouse with for the holidays.
And before long, it was spring again.
