The video correctly identifies that reckless provocation is not a strategy, but a dangerous substitute for real diplomacy. It exposes the folly of using performative aggression to achieve stability.

Shaken Trump Posts Iranian Ship Attack As All Hell Breaks Loose追加:
Deescalation through escalation has been Donald Trump's entire failed Iran war strategy. And strategy is giving it a lot of credit. To even use that word is being more gracious than Donald Trump deserves because there has been no strategy. There is no plan and there is no end goal. Donald Trump is on the back foot. He is reactionary and we just saw that with a meltdown of a truth social post announcing that Donald Trump is attacking and seizing Iranian ships in the straight of Hormuz as a direct result of Iran closing the strait and announcing that they were cancelling peace talks. This is the latest in a series of escalatory moves from Donald Trump that do not move the needle on peace negotiations considering the negotiations aren't even happening. And that is where I want to start before we get to that reporting and before we see Donald Trump stoogge Mike Waltz get picked apart on ABC. Do stick around for that. But it starts with the cancellation of peace talks. The New York Times reports Iran war live updates. Thran pushes back after Trump announces new round of talks. Donald Trump said negotiators would head to talks mediated by Pakistan, but Iranian state media has said no meeting had been confirmed. The two-we ceasefire is expected to expire next week. Here's the latest from the New York Times. Just days before a two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran was set to expire, Donald Trump and Iranian officials disagreed on Sunday over whether top officials would meet this week in Pakistan for a second round of negotiations to end the war. Hours after Mr. Trump and American officials would attend talks in Islamabad, the Pakistan capital. Iranian state media said tan had not yet agreed to any such meeting.
The stakes for such talks should they happen are high. Failure would re risk re igniting sorry the fighting and global economic upheaval. A White House official said Vice President JD Vance was expected to lead a US delegation accompanied by top Trump aids Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. The negotiations would be the second meeting of high level officials since the ceasefire went into effect on April 8th.
The conflicting accounts, or should we characterize it as Trump lying about the state of negotiations, came as the economically vital straight of hormuz has remained all but closed. A move that Trump characterized in a social media post on Sunday as a total violation of our ceasefire. Iran said it had effectively closed the strait, a waterway crucial to the transit of global energy supplies in defiance of Mr. Trump's conditions for the temporary truce between the United States, Israel, and Iran. Mr. Trump's announcement of US participation in the talks came with a renewed threat to attack civilian infrastructure if the strait is not reopened and extension of the ceasefire is not reached. Donald Trump thinks his continued threats are going to seal the deal. But what have they secured?
Nothing. There is no negotiation. It is not just that they're not moving the needle on negotiations. We are not negotiating at all. And I'm really tired of the media saying that there's conflicting reporting between Iran and the United States. No, Donald Trump is just lying. And you shouldn't take it at him at his word. You should always question what Trump says and you should certainly question his strategy. As Roana said right here and he said essentially a prediction of what would come true today in the straight of four moves, what Trump is doing. We're gonna get into it after row.
>> What do you make of this latest development though? Another round of peace talks.
>> Well, they said uh they want to escalate to deescalate. They've escalated to devastation. I mean, you have the pope lecturing America about possible war crimes. You have the president, as you pointed out, threatening to destroy all power plants. I didn't think we would ever get to that point. You have the straight of Hormuse that is now blocked.
This never happened before the war. What have we achieved? Gas is up from $2.30 to four bucks. You have now Iran having a more hardline regime as we just heard and all our allies like UAE being hit. I mean, we've created devastation and we're being lectured by the Pope. This policy of escalation does not work. It hasn't worked. It will not work. Which is why it is idiotic for Donald Trump to be seizing and attacking ships in the straight of Hormuz, which is what he announced in a meltdown truth social post because that's how we do foreign policy these days. I want to break it all down again. Stick around for Donald Trump's stoogge getting picked apart.
But let's get into this reporting from Axios. US takes Iran flagged ship into custody. Trump says American forces stopped an Iranian flagged cargo ship by blowing a hole in the engine in the engineer room after it tried to bypass a US naval blockade in the Gulf of Oman.
President Trump said Sunday. The big picture. Trump said that Marines disabled and seized the vessel named the Tusca as US and Iranian officials are preparing to hold peace talks in Pakistan which have allegedly and reportedly been cancelled. Donald Trump posted on Truth Social today, an Iranian flagged cargo ship named Tusa, I think I'm pronouncing that correctly, nearly 900 feet long and weighing almost as much as an aircraft carrier, tried to get past our naval blockade, and it did not go well for them. The US Navy guided missile destroyer intercepted the Tusca in the Gulf of Oman and gave them fair warning to stop. The Iranian crew refused to listen, so our Navy ship stopped them right in their tracks by blowing a hole in the engineer room.
Right now, US Marines have custody of the vessel. The Tusca is under US Treasury sanctions because of their prior history of illegal activity. We have full custody of the ship and are seeing what's on board. We're seeing what's on board. President Donald J.
Trump, we are seeing what's on board.
Sounds super official and airtight and like we got the top lines on it, seeing what's on board. We're going through a going for a bit of a rumage, checking through things, looking around. What this is idiotic. It's idiotic. I I don't know what Donald Trump is looking to accomplish here. I I truly don't. What is the blockade doing? If Donald Trump said that he was blockading the straight of Hormuz to hurt the economy of Iran, um that would make a lot more sense if he hadn't lifted sanctions on their oil and was not ready to give over billions of dollars, which he already has through the sale of Iranian oil. The same thing is happening with the an extension on allowing the sale of Russian oil. Russia continues to fund Iran. Russia is an ally of Iran. The economic argument does not make a lot of sense in the face of o other like other failures of the Trump administration to put economic pressure on Iran and its allies because if that was the whole goal if we're doing just like the whole economic blockade that doesn't make sense because one we're not doing it but two it would also have an impact on the United States right so Donald Trump has no plan there Donald Trump has no plan we are now seizing and getting aboard vessels just in the middle of a gulf that we have no control over because Donald Trump sees this like as the strategy. We got this right. This this is the strategy. We're going to end the war by just boarding Iranian shipping vessels one shipping vessel at a time. What is the what is the ETA on that? Right? Like what's the timeline on ending the war via boarding shipping vessels? Is that really strong? That there is no plan.
There is no plan. And why would there be why would Donald Trump have a plan? Why did he get into this war in the first place? Was on behalf of Israel. It was to play the markets. And right now, Donald Trump can have investors real scared. He can have them terrified. Oh my god, we're boarding ships. We're increasing the blockade. The straight is going to be closed even more.
Everything's fall like we're blowing things up in the middle of the Gulf. And then Donald Trump probably sometime on, you know, either Monday morning or I I don't know, it could be in a Monday afternoon goes, "Well, actually everything's fine and we're we're going to do the peace talks and it's going to be good and he'll make a lot of money."
So Donald Trump is causing destabilization in the region on behalf of Israel. And of course, he's destabilizing the markets to play them himself so that he can profit massively.
Awesome. If you did not know what the strategy is, it is that that is the strategy. This escalation for deescalation does not work. It is not It is not cogent. It is not coherent. It doesn't work and it hasn't worked. Which is why Trump's threats this morning are so ridiculous. And it is why his stoogge Mike Waltz could not respond to them, could not make sense of them, especially when confronted about the war crimes that Donald Trump is threatening. And and if the they don't agree, is is the president really prepared to go back to full-on war uh extending this war well beyond what he he originally said it was going to be four, five, maybe six weeks.
We're now going into week eight. Is he prepared to do what he threatened here?
He said destroy every power plant in every bridge in the country, fullon in-depth war uh extended in in in the Middle East. He's ready for that.
>> Well, all options are on the table.
Absolutely. Uh unlike his predecessor, President Trump doesn't publicly take options off the table and tell our adversaries what he's not going to do, therefore giving them leverage. Uh so, uh all options are on the table. Uh we could take that infrastructure out relatively easily. The Iranian air defenses have been absolutely decimated.
And just uh to get ahead of a lot of the critics and hand ringing, throwing out irresponsible terms like war crimes, uh uh attacking, destroying uh infrastructure that has clearly and historically been used for dual military purposes is not a war crime. I mean, Democratic lawmakers, we've heard that from others, and it is irresponsible and just flat wrong.
>> But but Mr. Ambassador, let me be clear.
The president today said that he would knock out every single power plant and every single bridge in Iran. He's not t just talking about those that are supporting the military infrastructure.
He's saying every bridge and every power plant in the country. That wouldn't be a war crime.
That would be an escalatory ladder. And if you go back in the history of warfare, go all the way back to World War II. Of course, we bombed and took down bridges, other infrastructure, power plants that yes, uh could be used for civilian, but also are used to manufacture drones and missiles. Uh so, and the Iranian regime in particular and its terrorist proxies have a long history of actually deliberately hiding military infrastructure in hospitals, schools, neighborhoods, and other uh and other civilian assets. So they are standing on they have no ground to stand on. Number one. Number two, they have a long history of co-mingling. Number three, it's perfectly acceptable in the rules of land warfare. And number four, the Iranian regime is launching drones and missiles directly into civilian homes, hotels, and resorts uh uh across the Gulf. So, uh, this is just a a ridiculous argument we've heard, uh, in the media, in, uh, from the Iranians, and frankly from some lawmakers here at home. I >> I mean, again, hitting every single bridge, every single power plant in the country goes beyond simply those that support the military infrastructure. Uh, thank >> this like they're holding the military in schools lie is so gross. And it also just, you know, confirms what we have known all along that Donald Trump, as much as him and Pete Heg, Seth will deny it, they did blow up that girl school.
Um, so we know that there's no other reason that Mike Waltz would be using those talking points. But also, I I love the way that he, you know, speaks down at the Iranians in the regime saying, you know, the Iranian government is committing war crimes across the region, and that's disgusting, which is why we're going to commit some war crimes to stop it.
like what what what is that response?
He can't even answer for it. He's saying it's different. Well, this is just a negotiating tactic. Again, this might be my my chief compl. It's not my chief complaint with the war. I think I have more. But to say that this is a negotiating tactic when it doesn't work is infuriating. And we are going to continue to call it all out on this show. And if you want to support that, as always, you can hit that subscribe button, leave a like on this video. If you stuck around to the end, drop a blue heart in the comments. Keep on fighting y'all. Don't let them silence you. And until next time, I'll see you
