Luther sharply exposes the hollow theater of social media, where we trade our genuine selves for a curated performance of success. It’s a sobering reminder that true fulfillment is found in the unrecorded moments of life, not the digital applause.

Everyone Is LARPing
Added:The harsh reality and the real the real Matrix, the real getting out the Matrix is when you realize that everyone is larping their way through modern life, right? Everybody.
We always thought when we became adults, we would know everything, right? We'd know what to do, we'd have structure, all the [ __ ] Nobody in the world knows what the [ __ ] they're doing, bro.
Nobody. It doesn't matter if they run a government, it doesn't matter if they run a company. Everybody's just guessing [ __ ] They're like, "Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, man. Um stock market's definitely going to go up on. Put your money here."
It crashes the next day. All right?
Unless you're Nancy Pelosi, bro, I'm not Listen, unless you're Nancy Pelosi, I'm not listening to your stock market advice type [ __ ] You feel me? But, um realistically, we we are living in one big just role playing server, bro. Nobody knows what they're doing. All right? As as honestly, ask someone, you know, "Oh, what do you have planned? Or what's your goals?" They'll be like, "Just trying to make it through the next day." Like, that's not a [ __ ] goal, bro. Like, what are you talking about? All right?
What what what what are you talking about? Nobody knows what they're doing in any aspect of life. People tell you Oh, everyone's pretending, obviously.
They pretend they know [ __ ] Nobody knows anything.
All right? People pretend to be happy.
They're pretending to be successful.
Like, the biggest one is probably pretending to be successful.
On social media, everyone's always like, "Oh, yeah, you know, everything's so great. Everything's so great." If you know that person behind the scenes, they're getting cooked. All right?
They're getting deep fried, smoked, roasted, broiled, boiled, absolutely cooked. And they're like, "Yeah, man, life is going good. Life is going good.
Nice apartment, this, that." They're getting cooked. If you know them personally, you know they're You know they're 100K in personal debt, 300K in student loan debt.
All right? They're getting cussed out by their their wife every day. Like, that's what's going on in real life, all right?
But, they're just pretending to be successful, pretending to be happy.
People say hi to you, they pretend to care, right? They say, "How you doing?"
If you answer like, "I'm not doing good," they're still going to keep walking. They don't give a [ __ ] All right?
Realistically, now, when it comes to like careers, right? Nobody knows what they're doing cuz they tell you go to go to school, get a degree, and then guess what? You do that [ __ ] and it's like, "Oh, okay. Well, I have a degree, and now I have to work at Ross. What What the [ __ ] happened?"
"Oh, I have two degrees. I have to work at you know, as a cashier." Like, what happened, right? Nobody knows where the economy is going. Nobody knows Nobody knew that AI was going to take over anyways, right? They They They really Obviously, some people predicted it, but the average person was just like, "Oh, no. Just Just get a degree." Your parents were probably like, "Oh, yeah.
Just get a degree at Safeway." Your teachers were probably like, "You have to get a degree." They don't know what the [ __ ] they're talking about, bro.
They They legitimately don't, right?
"Oh, this is a stable career." It is for 1 year, then it's not. "This is the best career." It is for 3 years, then it's not, right? Relationships.
People who are married and complain about marriage always say, "Why aren't you married?" [ __ ] cuz I heard your stories enough that I've been discouraged. I've seen enough [ __ ] that I've been discouraged. They'll always be like, "Why aren't you married? Why don't you have kids?" Because I've seen people who did what they're supposed to, {quote} {unquote}. They were society told them, {quote} {unquote}, and had the kids, had the family, got the mortgage, and they hate all of it. They hate that they're tied into a mortgage. They hate that their wife is cheating on them, or their wife doesn't respect them, right?
They hate that their kids are taking after their wife because their kids don't respect them just like their wife doesn't. Like, they hate all these things, and they're the same people saying, "Oh, yeah. Get married." They don't know what the [ __ ] they're doing.
They're just making [ __ ] up.
All right. They're just making [ __ ] up as they go, and misery loves company, so they're trying to bring you into it as well.
Now, another thing is, obviously, when it comes to money, all right? A lot A lot of people don't know anything about it, right?
They They just be saying [ __ ] like, "Oh, yeah, man. Like, if you want to make a lot of money, just Bro, I I I'll give you the key, man. And you don't You don't even need a dollar to do this. You don't even need a dollar. Just uh um you know, like, get a house, and like, wholesale it, like, flip it, and uh you'll make a million.
You'll be good to go. Oh, for real?
Yeah, that's cool. I don't need any money. Okay, everyone can do this then.
Everyone's rich, right? Oh, okay, cool.
That's the reality of it, right? Or people always have these these goofy ass ideas like, "Yeah, man, so like here's what you're going to do. You're going to like make a random product that has nothing to do with anything, then you're just going to sell it to everybody and they're actually going to buy it." No.
No, no, no, no. If you're not providing value, you're you're not getting paid, my guy.
All right?
If you currently do something that could be replaced by AI, it might get replaced by AI. As you guys could see, by the way, like the only reason I watch YouTube videos where people just yap and a lot of people like YouTube videos where people just yap is cuz it's genuine cuz anytime you click on something it's like, "Yo, how to get lean?" Or or it's like, "How to change your life?" Or "Why the economy is like this?" It's always some AI slop talking like, "And then, after this, this happened." And I'm like, "Bro, what the fuck?"
Right? We we we want authentic [ __ ] these days, bro. We're We're sick of the goofy [ __ ] and the fake [ __ ] all right?
When it comes to business, nobody knows what they're doing. Everyone's just guessing, right?
Something might work once, it might have been luck. It might have been legit.
Right? But everything you kind of learn as you go, which is why failure is your teacher, right? It's not a bad thing.
Now, the workplace the workplace goofy [ __ ] all right? The professional persona.
You look productive, right? When you're really not doing [ __ ] just so you don't get yelled at by by your boss.
You try to sound smart or whatever. You ever been on a corporate meeting?
I've seen some of those shits on TikTok.
And I also remember like when I you know, when they had meetings as a nurse, they try to use the the the the the corporate jargon and I'm like, "Nigga, get to the point and be like, 'Hey, man, you need to do this, you need to do that. We all need to do this, but everything else is good.'" Get to the point. You try to give us food, you know what I mean? You you tell us you take us off the you take us off take us off the floor. You try to give us food and you try to, you know, stay within political correctness using this corporate [ __ ] man. Like shut the Just shut the [ __ ] up, bro. Like And then we have Zoom meetings with the same thing. Hey guys, is everything Is everyone okay? All right. No, we're not okay and we don't we don't like you. We We're not okay. We don't like you and you're a bad boss. But guess what? If we say that, you're still going to continue with the meeting. So just hurry the [ __ ] up and say what you got to say. All right. But they're always using the corporate jargon like, "All right. So actually we hit most of our We hit most of our KPIs. Oh, actually, you know, we we we we're doing well, but it looks like um a lot of the patients are complaining about this. You know, actually Jco's coming in tomorrow." Just stupid like shut up. Shut up. I don't want to hear this [ __ ] bro. Always trying to sound smart and [ __ ] All right. You just We don't give a [ __ ] All right. Just talk.
Just speak.
Like I said, that's why I like YouTube.
People just speak. They don't do all the other goofy [ __ ] like, "Hello guys.
Um I hope you're all doing okay and um actually I'd Yeah, man. I hope you're all doing okay and it's a wonderful day outside.
You know, the economy's perfect and everything's perfect. No one's on antidepressants and everybody's lean."
Like come on, bro. Let's Let's Let's get to reality. I don't want to hear that [ __ ] All right. Working work like just working In order to work a job in order to work a 9:00 to 5:00 successfully, you pretty much at least in America you pretty much have to be on antidepressants, anti-anxiety medications or you have to be mentally ill. You just have to be. All right.
That's the only way you're dealing with that [ __ ] without getting aggravated.
That's the only way you're dealing with the goofy [ __ ] without getting aggravated. Cuz if you could deal with that goofy [ __ ] without getting aggravated, you're probably just mentally sick, bro. You have to be.
Because as soon as as soon as they're like, "Hey, you have to be nice to this patient." Why? [ __ ] I'm All I got to do is give her meds. "No, you have to do this with her." Why? "Because she said so."
Does she run this [ __ ] or do I run this [ __ ] Oh, apparently she does. Okay, cool. Like this [ __ ] is just stupid. All right. This [ __ ] is stupid.
Now, social media. All right. Social media is the land of facades. When I say social Most of us when we say social media, we usually talk about IG, right?
Cuz Instagram's is fake as [ __ ] right?
People fake their personalities. They fake their life They fake the [ __ ] out of their lifestyles. But let's start with personalities. The reason I like YouTube and the reason um a lot of people don't like my uh my They They might think they like me, then they see my YouTube like, "I hate this motherfucker." Because on social media, right? I used to just post pics and stuff and then the girls are like, "Oh, he's probably like a a bad boy or some [ __ ] Oh, I'm interested."
Blah blah blah. Whatever. Whatever they thought, right? And then I started talking and they're like, "Uh he he thinks too much. Uh he's not he's not hood enough." You know, all that [ __ ] You Uh you know, all that stuff chicks start thinking.
Because on social media, you can just fake your your entire personality.
Someone might seem like the happiest person of all time. Like you see those stories of like you see a happy couple and then they like break up or some [ __ ] like that. And you're like, "Oh my gosh, I would never think they'd break up."
Behind the scenes, you know, the girl was miserable or the guy was miserable.
And then you see those stories with the happy couples on like Tik Tok and Instagram and then one of them ends up offing the other one or some [ __ ] like that. You know what I mean? Like people believe anything that they see. That's That's what That's proof of, right? But everything on social media is fake. The personalities are fake, all right? If someone If someone doesn't open their phone and say, "Hey, man, stop [ __ ] around." Like if they If they're not straight up with you and like they got like they got like a camera or some [ __ ] like that and they're smiling too much, the motherfucker's about to sell you a lie, all right? Because if someone's social media account is similar to a pharmaceutical commercial, that is proof that they're about to cap, bro. They're about to [ __ ] cap cuz everyone on on antidepressants and antipsychotics on commercials are happier than anyone I've ever seen in my entire [ __ ] life, bro. I've seen some happy [ __ ] in my life. I've never seen someone as happy as those [ __ ] in the meadows.
I don't even Where do they even film those commercials? Like New Zealand or some [ __ ] Like shit's beautiful as hell. They're always in some nice ass place playing golf or like some nice ass meadows smiling with other people.
That's not real life, right? Lifestyles. Everybody fakes their lifestyle, bro. Like everyone faking their lifestyle. Like a lot of times, the crazy thing is you'll see someone on social media with like, you know, especially back in the day they should have like the new Jordans or something like that when people actually cared about that [ __ ] which is just goofy as hell. They just borrowed their friend's outfit, right?
And then they they their friend had a car, they borrowed their friend's car, right?
Literally, that simple.
And it's funny cuz every time I go out of town I just get I get a rental car, all right? And then if I post on social media, specifically the hoes because hoes are just straight material. They're just materialistic and it's it's it's just stupid, right? But they'll be like, "Oh my god, it's a nice car. Oh my god, congrats on the car." I'm like, "Hey, oh so you so you've been watching all my stories and now you respond because you think I bought this car? No, I don't I don't spend this frivolously.
All right, I don't do that."
All right? And most of the stuff you see is just branding, it's not reality, right? It's it's just not reality, all right? And that's just one aspect of it.
The next aspect is the lying aspect of it.
Where you see people say [ __ ] like, "Oh yeah, I'm a natural you know, I'm a natural lifter." A lot of you guys get confused cuz you see some dude in his third year of steroid use, um looking shredded and he's like only been lifting for 3 years and you're like, "Damn, bro, I lift I've been lifting for 5, I look nothing like him, but it looks like we have similar beginning genetics. What's going on?"
Like all of that stuff, right? And then people have fake beefs as well. It's like SmackDown, right? Social media's like SmackDown.
But SmackDown's like real life these days. And the sto- and novels are like real life these days, all right?
Everything is an act. But the issue is the average person is dumb so they believe all this [ __ ] anyways. That's the only reason it can exist. Like most [ __ ] I see on social media is like this girl's like, "Oh, do my at home butt routine to get a bigger butt." She clearly got a BBL, but a million people don't think so so they buy her program, which is just some glute kickbacks for 80 sets of 1,000. Like literally, all right? Now, this this is probably the this is probably the the the worst, the worst, the worst part of all of this [ __ ] And this is why you need to do the inner work, journal, think, experience life, touch grass, be in a 3D world, and determine for yourself, what do you consider success?
All right, I consider it success, simplicity, freedom, control, right?
Most of us don't have it. Like most people don't have control of their life, obviously.
So, if you have time freedom, location freedom, you're more free than most people.
If you don't have a lot of debt, a lot of, you know, kids, a lot of baby mamas, right? A lot of liabilities, warrants out for your arrest. If you don't have those, you have a lot more freedom than most people, literally, right?
But, a lot of people are performative these days, extremely performative, right? So, And you might be asking, like, why would someone be performative?
Because social media gives you more likes when you're performative, right?
Unless you're just, unless you're just leaning and you just keep posting, like, or or you just keep posting [ __ ] and people resonate with you, or whatever, for your authentic self. But, most people, they know it's easier to be performative than to be their true selves, cuz that's, that'll make, that'll make them feel too vulnerable, right? So, people, like I said, they flex these cars. There were some influencers who would split a car payment seven ways, and each one had a day of the week, or a couple of days each week, to, to show the car off on social media.
[ __ ] like that. People do that [ __ ] right? They split the insurance, they split the car, just so they could flex on social media, because, you know, they're performing for others. Anytime you do everything for others, you become their slave. It's that simple, all right? Which is why that's probably the worst thing you could do. Because as soon as you stop flexing that car, like, for example, a lot of people, their name will be like, their name will be like, Lamborghini Johnny, or some [ __ ] like that, whatever their name is. Which means they have to have a Lamborghini. If they lose that Lamborghini, they lose their identity because they tie their identity to this performative performance that they're having online, right? They they literally tie their identity to it. So, it's like if they lose the car, then they lost their identity because people are only following them for the car, not for their personality or not for them, right? Same thing with the watches. You can be like every watch every watch boy Johnny or whatever the [ __ ] your social media name is. Soon as you don't show new watches or, you know, you go broke from buying too many watches, then people aren't going to pay attention to you anymore. And you tied your identity to that, so now you think you're worthless, right? Instead of not seeking happiness or purpose outside of yourself. Like a lot of people seek happiness or fulfillment from other people's opinions. Anytime you do that, you are literally going to become performative and anytime you do that, you're going to become a slave to others. It is literally like that's the worst thing you can do because people's opinions are always changing and people are fickle. It is what it is. So, if you put your emotions, your happiness, you dependent on that, guess what? You're never going to be happy. Your happiness is going to be up up and down. You're going to be very very emotionally volatile. All right?
Simple. And and like I said, the [ __ ] Listen, the [ __ ] I'm going to just say this. The [ __ ] I The [ __ ] that I don't care to see Now, unless you actually make it like unless you have If you have $0 of debt and you make like 20k a month consistently and, you know, that's cool and you want to you got it a luxury apartment, a nice car, and a nice watch, and that's cool, too. And you like paid them off and you have no debt, like I said, and you just don't live above your means, that's cool. But most people doing that [ __ ] is always just flexing or some [ __ ] right? In In 2020 to 2021, there was actually a 19-year-old There was like a an epidemic of 19-year-olds.
I know you guys think there was a pandemic, but there was an epidemic of like 19 to to 21-year-olds, you know, going to the same spot in Miami and being like, "We just made it. Look at my watch." and just renting a bunch of [ __ ] and saying they made it and then trying to sell their course on how they made it. And some of them actually made money off that course.
But then they couldn't teach you how they made it cuz they never made it.
The course is how they made it. So it's just like it's it's basically the the larping Tai Lopez type [ __ ] you know what I mean? It's just crazy. Now, another thing is the massive jester maxing epidemic.
All right. Now, let me tell you why dating has become more performative is because you are being compared to more people than ever because of social media.
Like if you're Listen, listen, if I swore I promise you this is this is this probably happened to someone. If someone 6'6" and they're like super lean, you know, girl probably be like, "You're kind of cute, but why aren't you 6'8"?"
I know some people who are 6'8". Like that I swear I'm telling you, bro. I'm telling you don't don't don't do that stupid performative [ __ ] Or if it's like you're kind of short, be like, "Yeah, I'm short. Yeah, yeah, yeah." How much you weigh? I'm like, "190." I know someone leaner than you who weighs 200.
Just that just that kind of mindset is what's kind of in the dating market, right?
No one's No one's authentic. A lot of people want the social media relationships, too, right? Social media relationships are probably the worst thing ever. If a chick I've had a chick say to me like, "Oh my god, it's like we should do social media together and this is I was like, "Bitch, shut the [ __ ] up, bro. I don't want that shit."
Fake ass relationship, bro. Everyone It's literally like and social media is the biggest dating app. Like TikTok and Instagram are the number one and number two dating apps. Instagram's number one, TikTok's number two. If you don't think that, you might be cooked, my guy. But um yeah, men perform, you know, they they they they try to look confident and rich and stuff like that. And then chicks choose based off of that, right? Like if you post your traps or you post yourself in like a nice place, I mean, you're going to get chicks straight off of that. But then because you got chicks off of that, it's like it's like, bro, these chicks are just looking for a certain lifestyle or it it's real it feels really performative, bro. That's why I said like only way to beat a game that's that's rigged and cooked is to not play it, bro. Turn off the PS5.
That's all you got to do. All right, that's what Like I said, I don't do this [ __ ] no more, like If you want to get If you want to get the If you If you watch a dating coach and like, "Oh, you want to get the most chicks, uh stand on a yacht and like take a picture on a yacht." And then And then, you know, look lean at like the a nice beach with the background or [ __ ] like that. That'll work for getting chicks, but it's like, do you really want chicks that only want you for that? Because as soon as they see another dude with that, too, they're probably hitting him up, too, which they really do. That's That's how it works, right? It's just It's just very, very performative, man. Everyone is marketing themselves. You You're going You're going to date a chick and listen, if you're dating a chick and she's posting bikini pictures on Instagram, I mean, dudes are going to be hitting her up and it's just like highest bidder, highest bidder next type [ __ ] And it literally feels like you're jester maxing when you actually date them, too, because they have all these dudes in her in their DMs, so they're like, "Okay, well, um what are you going to offer?
Um how are you going to entertain me today, sir? I need entertainment." And chick Listen, chicks is always bored, bro. They're always bored. They need to be entertained. I'm not about to waste my time entertaining a [ __ ] She needs to entertain me. I don't got time for that [ __ ] bro. I'm not about to be like, "Well, today, um I I have a long itinerary. So, I know you said you want to do this and do that." Cuz listen, once she really wants you, bro, she's just going to slide to the crib, bro.
All right. Leave all that jester maxing to somebody else, to to to the lame simp dudes in the comments. I ain't I'm not wasting my time being like, "We're going to go on a yacht and right after the yacht, we're going to a museum, but this is an exciting museum, Suzanne. Let's go." I'm not doing that goofy [ __ ] boy.
All right, I hate that [ __ ] And like I said earlier, influencers are lying like crazy, right?
They They act like they're certain.
They act like experts, right? They act like they're successful, all that [ __ ] man.
Because if they don't, then guess what?
They won't sell because confidence sells. Now, for me, the only [ __ ] I know about because I've done in-person training, because I've done nursing, because I've done online coaching, obviously, because I've transformed myself. The only thing I know about is fitness and anything regarding fitness, and I'm still learning and I still don't know any anywhere close to everything. It's not even I barely I basically barely know anything, but through experience and theoretical versus actual, I know a decent amount, right? Now, as far as becoming a millionaire and [ __ ] like that, I can't tell you how to do that cuz I obviously haven't done that. So, I'm not going to be like, "Oh, here's how to become a millionaire."
And then I become a millionaire off of telling you how to become a millionaire like Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Like, I'm not about to do that [ __ ] bro. Um so, yeah.
So, realistically, the freedom of realizing that everybody is larping, it takes a lot of pressure off of yourself cuz then you're like, "Oh, I was in a rush to be like this person on social media. Whole time they're scamming."
There was that um one dude. I think he was Nigerian or whatever.
Um it was a big story like a years ago.
Cuz he always he was always on private jets and [ __ ] I mean, he would he was the number one You know you know how Chief Keef in all the time says uh I'm the number one flexer of all time. No, no, no, no. This Nigerian dude on uh Instagram was the number one flexer in the history of flexing. Nobody will ever outflex him. All right? Nobody's ever outflexing him because he was just scamming like crazy, flexing like crazy.
Just like there's a lot of dudes in Atlanta that be scamming like crazy, you know what I mean? And you're looking at the lifestyle you're like, "Dang, bro, they got time freedom." Wait.
They they drive the SRT to the store, but they drive the Trackhawk to the gym, but they drive drive the Lamborghini to the date. Like, that's that's a lot of the [ __ ] that you see, right? And you're comparing yourself to that [ __ ] man.
But, a lot of these [ __ ] are scamming, all right? So, realizing that most people are larping, right? Nobody knows what they're doing. It takes a lot of pressure off of yourself cuz you realize like, "Okay, well, me not having it figured out is you know, is not an issue. It's just the reality of most people because we live in uncertain times, and anyone who doesn't acknowledge negative experiences, you know, that's that's a negative experience. If you don't If you don't acknowledge the negativity and the scamming and the fake [ __ ] that's going on, but then you just lying to yourself, all right? You're living in in a delu- delulu land. All right? Simple.
