Still having C-section pain years after giving birth? This could be why.

[00:00:01]The reason why you might still be struggling with pain even 2 years post-birth is often down to adhesions.

[00:00:06]Scar tissue is wonderful at healing us up, keeping out infection, and fixing us post injury or surgery.

[00:00:13]But it is dense, sticky stuff, and it likes to attach itself to surrounding organs and tissues.

[00:00:20]And unfortunately, this can create pain in your abdomen and globally throughout your body.

[00:00:25]Another reason might be that a large number of nerves are cut through when having a C-section.

[00:00:31]And this might cause more of like a sharp, stingy pain, a numbness, or a sensitivity in the area.

[00:00:37]Uh, this is not unusual, and I treat it all the time in my clinic. Um, I treat the scars that are years old and still made a difference to pain. I don't think a single woman's walked out my clinic and not had an improvement in pain from scar massage.
