While AI can handle 80% of tasks more concisely and with greater detail, the remaining 20% of human expertise comes from personal empathy, lived context, and half-formed ideas from previous conversations that AI cannot replicate; this human edge makes a significant difference in quality and should guide how we strategically deploy AI as a tool for handling tedious tasks while using it as a platform to challenge and enhance human thinking.

What AI Can't Replace — The Human 20%Ajouté :
And the AI responses were about 80% as good as me. I'm like, wow, there's a lot of me in there. It could do 80% of the things that I could do.
In some cases, it was better because it was more concise. It just gave more detailed answers.
But then I looked at the 20%. What was that 20% that made my answers better?
When they did and it was to your point.
I brought something about me. I put myself into those questions. I was personal, had empathy. I had half-formed ideas from a previous conversation I'd had that week. It wasn't in the AI.
And it's that little bit that makes a big difference. And so, I use AI constantly to take care of the tedious, mind-numbing things that I have. But I also use it as a platform to help me think better.
Because when else can you have something challenge you? I have myself challenging me Yes. to think better and go deeper than I could have in the past.
