While the athlete's rapid recovery is impressive, we must distinguish between genuine tissue regeneration and the immediate anti-inflammatory effects that often mimic a "miracle" cure. A two-week turnaround for a structural tear suggests the treatment is managing symptoms rather than achieving a full biological repair.

Pro Skater Took Stemcell and now he can do this?!Added:
Oh, you got the freshy, too.
>> Put it on.
>> The fresh freshy and the fresh wax on the ledge.
>> Yeah. Started waxing as she put it on.
>> So, you're doing your uh hip flexor stuff or what?
>> Yeah. I've got a torn labum.
>> Labrum.
>> Yeah. Yeah. So, it's like that's basically the gasket in your hip. It's like cartilage.
>> Mhm. And I've got uh like a they call it a cam, which is basically like a bone like spur that every time I lift my leg, it rubs against that gasket and I wore through it basically. So I got a stem cell injection uh like two months ago and I chilled for 2 weeks and after that two weeks I was pretty much just good to skate again. It was like magic basically.
>> How long were you not able to skate for with the hip thing? Like I know it's giving you gut for a minute.
>> Uh I was intermittently skating for like 3 or 4 months or something like that.
Like I could like kind of skate but not really. Like >> just wasn't getting any better.
>> Yeah. The day that they reopened courthouse was like the my last day like actually trying a trick. That was it. After that it was like okay I like physically I I can't skate anymore. That I would say that was after the peak of it, you know, cuz I chilled for like a cool two weeks and then I could skate a little bit after I would chill and then it would just flare up real bad. I remember I was at stoner one day >> and uh >> I was like, damn, I have like I skated for a little bit and like I just couldn't do [ __ ] anymore. Like in order to lift my leg and extend it was like it was very painful. So I was like [ __ ] I'd have to figure something out. So, I just started googling uh like stem cell PRP doctors in the area and I found a dude uh who could do it and I got a consultation. It was like 200 bucks or something like that. And then I went to see him maybe like a week later and I got the injection. I'm not going to lie, I was like a little nauseous and [ __ ] for like a day or two after I got the [ __ ] It was weird. It could have been just placebo. But after like getting the injection, I chilled for 2 weeks and then like I mean my muscles had like kind of atrophied a little bit and [ __ ] cuz like I wasn't skating enough and I was like trying to just get back to it and it was too early. But uh it after that two weeks basically my [ __ ] was good.
>> Like I just it was uh >> like I had to get the rust off a little bit because I hadn't really really been skating. But then after I did, like I'm really skating again. Like I'm about to tie my hair up and do a kick flip on flat right now. And that was like impossible. Like before I got that injection. It was crazy.
>> Do you think your ability to balance manuals makes holding that exercise easier for you than other people?
>> Absolutely not. I'm actually so trash at that exercise. I'm surprised I didn't fall over just now.
>> Dude, you crushed it the whole time. It was impressive, >> bro. It's usually like I don't know. You probably just got me on a good day cuz usually I'll be falling over. I have to hold on to some [ __ ] >> M good sign.
>> Yeah, like before the injection, that [ __ ] would have hurt.
>> Shout out stem cells, dude.
>> Yeah, PR I got stem cell, PRP, and exoomes, which is uh that was a concoction.
>> I don't know nothing about exoomes.
>> I don't really know either. I just know that they work.
>> You were like, "Put it in me."
>> The fact that this bench is still going, the one down the end that a lot of people would end their lines on is torn out.
>> Oh, they tore it out? Yeah, the one way down there still all [ __ ] up like it was like a >> where someone like burned something on it. No, that's all good. They cleaned that up. I think it's someone like maybe someone set that bench on fire now that I think about it. Who knows?
>> I think it was like somebody sleeping on the ledge and uh >> they melt it.
>> Damn near the ground looked like somebody had died on the ground, bro.
Can I say that on YouTube?
>> You can absolutely say that. That better smell like orange creamsicles.
>> Uh yeah, it lowkey does. This is uh my friend Aaron's brand. I think he calls it slippy dips or something like that.
He sent me a box.
>> Slippy dips.
>> Yeah, that's good though. It's like uh >> Yeah, I'll give you one if you want.
>> Oh, that does smell good.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Aaron Simpson, if you see this, >> you're the man.
>> Shout out Aaron Simpson, dude.
>> Ooh, that made a crazy sound.
>> Yeah, >> that sounded like me waking up and getting out of bed, >> bro. This spot is lowkey butt now.
>> She grinding. I mean, the only reason people started skating this spot is cuz it's like the exact amount of downhill to not have to push the whole way down.
Oh, look. One of them was missing.
Bro, anytime I've ever been here, some [ __ ] has happened. I like uh I remember the homies were smoking like somewhere over here. Maybe we were down there. I don't remember. But some dude was like, "Can I hit your weed?"
And he was like, "Hell no, you can't hit my weed." And uh so he flipped the cherry out of my homie's and then it just turned into some [ __ ] The dude came up to me. He like called me an N word under his breath all crazy. And I was like, "What the fuck?" And then he tried to kick me. I'm I'm not violent, bro. Like I like >> Yeah, he's not violent. And I'm not going to say what happened, but he had to handle business, dude.
>> Anytime I've been here, it's some [ __ ] >> Yeah.
Mhm.
Mhm.
>> That was crazy.
>> So bad.
>> Not only one foot no slide, dude.
>> Not a low ledge either. It's like a normal height ledge.
>> I feel like it's the perfect height.
>> It's a good real ledge height. Not skatepark ledge height.
There we go.
Yep.
It's not great for no slide stuff because of how thin it is. I'm also surprised that no one's ever chopped this off. It looks like it would be easy to take off. I mean, >> are honestly not good for anything.
>> The ground is good, though. It's a decent warm-up ledge.
>> Yeah, my [ __ ] really went underneath the ledge, bro.
>> Yeah, it's not a no slide tail slide kind of ledge. Good for blunts, though, cuz it has like the grooves in it, so when you lock in, you really lock in.
You can actually see how it's like grinded out into almost like a little mini curve ledge.
>> Oo, flip crooks.
>> Yeah, it's been a while.
>> I was going to say I don't know you to do that trick.
>> I mean, I know you can. It's just not one that I think of for you.
>> I don't do them often. That's a younger me trick, I guess.
>> That was good.
>> Oh, thanks. Yeah, I don't do that one usually. He said ledges might be his least favorite thing to skate for someone who skates a lot of ledges. I guess you're more of like a manual flat gap and regular gap skater.
>> I'm down to 2% grind.
>> Yeah, >> like very short. I can't sit in grind.
>> Sounds like we might have to do a video at uh Stoner where we get them to sit on long grinds.
>> Wow. Cuz you have way too much board control to not be able to sit on grinds.
We got to go to Stoner sometime and just >> I think I just get frustrated, bro.
>> Yeah.
like uh I don't know. I think that like sort of translates to everything in my life. It doesn't just feel like it's working. I'm just like you're like, "Yeah, find something that does. Do something else."
>> Like I'm the opposite. Like if the for whatever the first trick that I start trying is, I usually almost always have to see it through. It's a terrible habit.
Yeah, that's sick. Like even if it's one that doesn't even make sense. Like you'll go to a spot and be like, "Oh, like this thing doesn't really grind very well, so I should do a slide trick." But the first thing I tried is a grind trick and I'm like, well, just put more wax on it, spend four hours and then never land it.
>> Oh, switching it up.
>> Yeah.
>> Nothing wrong with that. Knowledge shove crook.
>> Maybe no. Well, whatever happens.
>> Whatever you get into. Yeah, that's a very Spencer trick.
That thing going to 180 or you're not sure?
>> I think I'm going to try 180.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah.
>> If it's not working in a couple tries, >> just like you said, dude, >> try something else.
Dude, I think I did this in a line actually.
>> I remember. I think I did.
>> It felt familiar on that one. You had like deja vu all of a sudden.
>> Yeah, I think I did this in a line at one point.
>> I just pictured you getting into it. You had that like Raven Simone like we'll take that. I think I would almost like this trick 180 out the less cool way too. Like nollie shove it crook and then just come out like nollie half cab.
>> Dude, it's so much harder.
>> I believe it. But like crook half cap's so much easier than the trick you're trying. It's funny on how that >> I've done one fakey that way a long time ago.
>> It's also one of those things where like crook big spin to fakey the nollie halfcap way is a gross trick or like it's not gross as much as like it's like less accepted. It's like a back five shove.
>> Time and a place >> and I'm thinking the time in the place is nollie shoved to crook big spin out that way. I wouldn't dislike it.
>> Oh, that sounds so hard.
>> You would need the right ledge board.
This is definitely not it.
knowledge shove nose bank. He literally just said I was telling about how like I got into the knowledge shop nose man a while ago working around. He's like oh I've never done one now you have.
>> I guess now I have.
>> There you go dude. There was just another little someone whing out instant. I mean it's just dude's crazy man.
When you have that big of a gap of like people are so rich right here and then you have people that are so poor right here. It is a crazy combination. ever.
Have you ever done that to back nose blunt?
>> On accident? Yeah.
>> I was going to say this would be the one I'm doing cuz it has the grooves.
>> It's uh that's a confusing one to try on purpose though.
>> Oh, I'm sure.
>> Yeah. I like don't know where to like when to put my foot down >> evidently when someone tries to kick you.
>> Yeah.
>> Oh, that was wild.
I mean, you are trying kind of a real trick.
>> This is so annoying.
Ah, >> have you big spinned out of that? Like, >> I've tried, dude. I did. Nollie back nose grind big spin on the line here.
>> Got to find the right spot.
>> Right.
>> Yeah.
I'll just take you to Ken Rams and I'll build you the exact ledge that you need.
>> Second practice.
>> So, you know, so you can do it.
>> Oh, yeah. So, I can just do one do it again. We'll paint it a color. We'll see Barrett. I love that Steve Barrett gets so much [ __ ] for that. But also Eric Cen, Guy Mariano, and Jim Greco skate at those same spots in their parts.
Jim Greco skates the fake Allstate sign in Baker 3. Eric Coffman skates the fake handrail and fully flared. Uh he skates another fake handrail too that's in fully flared. We deny half cap switch people back to regular. Jeff King, I think, is who put that rail in.
>> Um but it was like down a real set of stairs, but it was a fake rail. And then I forget maybe guy didn't well the ledge stuff that's in the barracks. Um got what is it? Uh fakey front crook three flip and fakey front crook 360 shove by Mike Mo.
>> That was in the barracks.
>> That was like in a warehouse.
>> Damn that had me bamboozled.
Oo.
The greatest trick the devil ever did was convince you that it was just Barra.
Ain't no way uphill. Ain't no way uphill, dude.
>> Dude, I was I think I could have clear.
I just would have hit the tree and it would have not been sick. I'm going to try a couple and if it's like >> not working. It's not working.
>> I'm talking them into some real YouTube [ __ ] right now. Hold on.
>> Oh yeah. Yeah. For every time that you don't do the nose man, no punishment is a backside flip attempt.
Woo. That leaf got you, huh?
Just got to get into one and it's over.
Trey flip's way harder than backside flip. You think?
>> Yeah. Backside flips are so easy to push. Trey flip you have to clear your back truck. Backside flip you only have to clear your front truck. It's the >> It's about the same.
>> Your wheelbase is the difference in how far you have to do a 180 trick versus a not 180 trick.
>> Interesting.
>> Like, think about it like this. If you're doing tre flip, your back truck has to clear. But for backside flip, once your front truck clears, >> no, >> you're past it.
>> I think it's just maybe a confidence thing, you know, like >> and like a feeling thing.
>> Yeah. Well, like three flip, it's like, oh, like >> Well, you have a poppy tre flip, too.
>> I could throw it out there.
>> Yeah.
>> I mean, there's a good reason that you have seen very few like straight nollie flips over long gaps and bump over rails. You know, as far as I know, the only nollie flip over a bump over rail I can picture is the one that Ty Pudwell did. I think I shed Oh, that makes absolute sense.
>> No, I was next to it.
>> The only way to really get away from this flat AB is a nollie crook and land in a manual. Baby, >> you're absolutely right.
>> That's such a real thing, though. You're just talking about like the cardio that he gets in when he comes out on sessions. I know so many pro skaters are like they'll film for video parts, so they'll like go try that trick and then chill once they get it, you know, cuz it's like such high energy. It's it's it's >> heavy weights, low reps, dude.
>> Yeah. I don't usually uh skate like this.
>> Yeah. Stacking, dude. Stacking.
>> Trying. It's enjoyable.
>> Yeah. It's like skating like when you were a kid.
>> Oh, yeah.
>> You cleared it, but you didn't go over it. I mean, you start rocking some green grip tape, I can make it work.
Nollie Ricky grind on my channel. Crazy grind.
>> Uh, when you pinch crooked grind wrong, people were calling it cuz he did that long, not crooked grind down that long double cider, I guess.
>> That was a long ass [ __ ] grind.
>> Shut the [ __ ] up, dude.
Dude, I'm glad that guy kicked you. I mean, I would say that it's just like uh a long ass nose pressed grind.
>> Boy, if it wasn't a crook, he still grinded [ __ ] >> No. Yeah. What it was was hard and impressive, but it was not a crooked grind.
>> Two things can exist at the same time like that. Yeah.
Where are we going with it though?
Okay.
For a second there was like 10 different seconds where I was like, "Okay, it' be kind of funny at this point for me to push him off his board." But but I was like, "No, I I'll let him get it, dude."
So you don't have any other stuff up there. We don't have to walk back up to grab your stuff.
>> I grab my water.
>> God, dude. Yeah, the carve.
>> Yeah. How do you do this?
>> Yeah. Once again, the best trick in Andy's part, I don't give a [ __ ] if you understand or not. Just come here and understand that alling up on this and carving into this and airing out is I don't know.
Like, it's one of those things where you think like, oh, oh, if you like you have the ball to just like go lean in and try it, you'll be able to do it. But I was here when he was learning it and him trying to figure out which he's a person who's really good at figuring out how tricks work. He was struggling making that thing work. So, like you might be thinking to yourself like, you know, you're Elijah Burley could like probably like chomp through it or or Grant Taylor. It would I'm not saying that they couldn't do it. I'm saying it'd be really [ __ ] hard for anyone to do.
And I would say that is a type of obstacle that is his specialty.
Just trying to find an excuse to get over to this fire hydrant. You can say what you want. Oh, Andy fire hydrants.
No, dude. Spencer fire hydrants.
Still to this day, we have yet to get an ollie out of you. And now I know why, dude.
>> Okay. California. We're leaving that spot. Try to find the next spot. Oh, here it is.
Which one do you skate over? This one.
This is the one uh that Andy did the wallally late pressure flip thing out.
What people don't realize is uh it's like steep here and then mellows out and it gets steep again. It's fun.
>> Hey, maybe we should go to uh >> this park right there. Yeah, I'm down.
Do you want to drive there or should we just skate to it?
>> Yeah, definitely.
>> Okay. Been a minute since I've been at this spot. Um, least crowded I've seen it as far as skaters are concerned.
There's only like three skaters here.
Get right into some manual stuff.
Some reverse manual stuff.
I knew you're going to get greedy, dude.
That crack at the end does suck.
Oh, you teased.
Relatable, >> dude. I knew that something [ __ ] up was going to happen when I tried.
>> I found this like perfectly super smooth stone and I want you to know that I have it now. I don't know why.
Okay.
>> A solid recovery.
>> Yeah. Every time you [ __ ] up, do a really, really hard manual trick. That works.
>> I don't know if I call it a recovery, but >> what would you call it?
>> I don't know. That was also not a very good trick.
>> Switch 180 noseman revert to switch manual. I think it's a pretty good trick.
>> I would have done it better. I don't know, man.
>> I think they're sick. I I like when people revert back the way they came.
>> I like pretzly manual stuff for a little while.
>> Did you?
>> Yeah.
>> Well, it's going to continue. Down in the comments, sound off. I think the only overarching rule when it comes to 180 manual tricks from manual to manual is if you go from nose manual 180 back to nose manual, four wheels cannot be on the ground at the same time. That's it.
>> Like actually no half cabin, >> bro. So I think it it wasn't pivot switch manual. was nollie half cab switch nose male.
>> Yeah. So nose man half cab nose mail.
>> I think it was that that exact reason.
>> Yeah. And that is real. You should have been attacked for that.
>> You that that is that is a valid reason to attack that. Basically they were in they were committing self-defense.
Show them what you showed me just now.
Show them. Let them see.
And it's proper.
Dude, you got Mickey Papas doing switchback tails on transition today, which is probably not the same video.
Uh, and Spencer doing slapies on curbs.
Proof that global warming is not real.
Cuz Mickey is getting cooler. You know how weird it is to be like standing on a board that is like customly made for me.
So crazy. Little Dan would not even like, dude, it's like I got my custom shape and I was like, well, let's do a bigger version. And then I just get it.
Crazy.
And then it's like my homies riding aboard with his name on it. Like shit's crazy. New local skate shop.
What's it called? What is this?
That is actually kind of LA doesn't have like uh the skate shop. I guess you could say Supreme, but you know what I mean. It's like Pick Cruise Gone. Uh what's what are the skate shops that are left? I mean, you have Cow Town, you have 303. Like what's a skate shop that represents like the entire city?
>> You're mad.
>> I don't like it.
>> You're pissed, dude. They know what it would have looked like if you did it good.
Like there's not Okay, one more. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of skate shops that I like [ __ ] with. like LB skate shop has always been really cool to me. And you know, Travel Skate Shop in New Jersey. Shout out Pawn Shop Skate Shop and they're definitely like the big skate shops in their area, but I don't know. Like I I don't know. Is NJ skate shop the main skate shop of New Jersey?
New Jersey people, let me know. What is the main skate shop in New Jersey?
Obviously Derrick's going to say travel.
I don't remember who said it to me.
Someone said one of my videos where they're like, "I'm trying to get pissed off today. Take me to a manual pad."
Okay. He's making crazy claims now. He's saying actual last one.
>> Yeah, this is ridiculous.
>> We all know that's, you know, not true.
But you got it.
>> Cryptic for I need to land it.
>> Yeah. Cryptic.
>> I know. No, I know what it's just there's so much different place to walk. I don't That was just crazy.
>> That was a little better.
>> It was definitely a lot better. But is it a line?
It is not the his Leonardo DiCaprio era because he said uh not only backside flip faking manual one battle after another is where my head immediately goes.
>> I hope it's not like that.
>> Not backside flip fakey manual is an extremely hard manual trick. Shout out the square manual pad at Laurel Skate Park in Maryland. Only place I've ever done nollie back flip fakey manual.
taller than a curb, which honestly kind of made it easier. She's got a good slappy pissy.
Okay, maybe you could do it easy.
>> I don't know about that. We're going to try.
>> Okay. I [ __ ] hate that sticker. It's [ __ ] with my eyes. Oh, that's killing me.
Feel like it might piss him off, dude.
You see the sticker?
>> Is that some [ __ ] that I'm not supposed to say?
>> No, it's I can't You see how it's blurry?
>> Oh, yeah, it is. Huh? I thought it was like your I thought you were trying to trick me.
>> Saying a slur.
>> That's crazy.
>> I don't know. That's not some words I've ever seen before.
>> Uh I guess I did like the leadup was a little suspicious.
>> Like a de nuts joke.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
>> You ever been to the big parody?
>> Oh yeah. It's crazy that you're picking like you do it right over the wax.
You're so brave.
>> Really?
>> I don't know. Sometimes when I I just be trying [ __ ] bro.
>> Dude, there's a really good clip.
>> Forget it's it's like a You have to get each part from uh different channels, but I think it was Yeah, it was Deville wax the dog [ __ ] out of this part right here for like naughty lip slide and then randomly Raj goes to roll on grind it and misses slightly and slips out on the wax and gets bodied. Damn.
>> And then I saw comments people trying to blame me cuz in the same video I like roll on grind the whole thing around the corner like clearly Dan waxed it. I'm like, it was Deville.
>> Damn. I didn't know Roger got bodied like that.
>> Oh, he got bodied like that, dude.
>> [ __ ] >> Roger [ __ ] skates.
>> No. Yeah.
>> Keep going.
Put that back down.
>> Yeah.
God damn it. There's a meme in here somewhere. I just don't know what it is.
>> Seriously, >> not believe. I know. I know what you're saying, but I feel like anyone else who heard that would be would Yeah, >> dude. Too much board feel on fakey tray is like almost uncomfortable. Like >> Yeah. He said >> something with soft shoes is cool. But >> I don't know. It's a manual. We'll see.
>> He said my shoes are too soft for figgy tray manual maybe.
And it's like when your shoes get really really worn in. Um, I don't have problems with fakey 360 flips with really worn in shoes, but I have problems with backside flips with really worn in shoes.
>> Backside flip works good for me with a old ass shoe.
>> Really?
>> Yeah. Trey flip, especially up some No, not tre flip. Fakey tray. Uh, going up something though, >> in like a a shoe that I've been skated, >> but we're going to find out here in a second.
What did Bevup do? Bev up did no slide, late shove, I think, or something.
Oh, the tall edge. You got anything for that? I always try to get people to skate that. It thinks it's like hard to even 50/50. Yeah, it's it's tall. tall.
So, let's just jump on it. Switch.
Dear. God. Yeah.
It's a handicap rail from Flat Tall.
Yeah, definitely wavy ground cuz the ground's also [ __ ] him up. Yeah. Try one more. You don't need to blow all your energy on this.
Okay, that is a loft. I thought you would be able to switch tail before 50/50. Switch 50/50 is a crazy choice.
>> The thing is kind of tall, bro.
>> Very tall. Nollie Crook savable, >> brother.
Ali backside tail tap is the trick I would see someone doing on it.
>> Oh, in like 2006.
>> Yeah, like that is like the I am past my prime, but I have a trick in the board company that I once put out a really good video part four. Let me nolly back tail tap of tall ledge.
>> Yeah, this is that.
>> Yeah, this is that.
>> This is that.
>> So, if you know you're past your prime and you're trying to get a clip, it'd make a sick photo.
>> I don't know.
>> I feel like dude, you have to fully stand on top of it. I could see a >> Oh, yeah. It's not going to be like that.
>> Saggy, >> but then you get the Matt Price style closeup underneath angled up so you can't see if they're on top or not angle. You know what I mean? So, hit on Matt Price. He's one of the few people who's going to make the Fatal photo be able to He's one of the few people that make the photo look sick. And then Nolly back tail tab this. Didn't realize that he switched front it. So, he's going to do it again.
I feel like people are going to think what I was saying about the nollie back tail is like shots fired, but that's like my favorite generation of skating.
It's just it is what it is. That's just the reality of it.
There it is. Tall front side nose slide is another one that was just like everyone was running them.
Jeez. Yeah. You're like doing a real trick right now.
He's like this is actually like really hard. It's like Yeah, it's [ __ ] giant. You didn't even check to see if it grinds.
Ah, I know you got another one in you.
We might be at that point, buddy.
>> Yeah, we might be hitting that stage.
>> It's either uh now or never. Come on.
>> Yeah.
Ah. Is this thing giving anyone else Mega Man one?
Uh, what is it? Not Electric Man stage.
Who would that be? I have to think about it. Maybe Bomber. Yeah, Bomb Man. I think it makes me think of bomb man stage.
Retake those. That was 50. This is the This is the flat ground zone. This is where um Mitch Brusco and Andy filmed all those things for uh Skate IQ.
Echoey.
Remember, Spencer's got a YouTube channel now. Link in description. Go give that [ __ ] a follow. But Dan, I only have eyes for your YouTube channel.
That's fine. You can go follow him on Instagram. You know, he's got something for everybody.
>> I want to get a switch back big spin.
That's like my favorite flat ground trick you do.
There we go.
Damn. Whoa, you did do it. I thought you didn't do it.
Uh, quick plug. If you want $300 off of any Woodward experience, so like let's say you're an adult and you've never been to Woodward and you want to go now, you totally can. They have adult camps now. Um, use the code Dan C D an C and uh $300 off. We will also be there week nine. which is August 9th 9th to the 15th for like classic Woodward camp. So if you want to come hang out with us, uh that would be the way to do it. And uh yeah, 15% off any Etnne's products. It's the shoe that I'm wearing in every video. I mean, a lot of the people in my videos are wearing ATNES, but yeah, 15% off all product. That uh information will also be in the description. And my custom board shape, which is all the details are also in the description. You can buy my board. It is back in stock.
