NIO Just Changed the Game Forever… And 86% of Non Nio Users Already Know It! 📈Added:
Now battery swapping, it is a technology that Nio is implementing and you know that by the end of this year Nio plans to have added 1,000 battery swapping station at least to their existing or onto their existing battery swapping stations. Last year, end of last year Nio finished the year with 3,600 battery swapping stations and right now Nio, as I'm doing this video, they've got as in the screen, 3,8090 battery swapping station. And if you subtract the 3,600 from last year, you get 290, which means that almost half way through the year Nio is already sitting at 290 of battery swapping stations that have been added.
The good thing is that Nio is also adding or has started adding the fifth generation battery swapping stations, which are compatible to Firefly, and that in itself, it is the one of the biggest catalyst for not only Nio, but also for Firefly, because once those fifth generation battery swapping stations goes live, guess what? There'll be a lot of Fireflies going into those battery swapping stations and it's going to spike interest from so many people all over all over China to want to get their hands to that Firefly sub-brand. I mean, the way Nio has been aggressive recently in terms of deploying these battery swapping stations, I mean, just last week, was it Sunday? That I think it was the 24th of of of of May, Nio had total battery swapping station of 3,500 3,859.
That is last week Sunday or Monday, right? But right now, they're already sitting at 3,890.
There is like 31 battery swapping stations that NIO has added in the last 7 days, which speaks volumes about what NIO has added. Which speaks volumes about what NIO is doing and what their target is. When I saw this, I was pretty shocked. In fact, these 31 battery swapping stations are what is making is what is making me do this video to say that NIO is aggressive. And what makes or gives me goosebumps is that from mid June, that is like probably from next end of next week, NIO will be mass deploying fifth generation battery swapping stations all over China. And what makes a difference into those, like I said, they're compatible to to Firefly. Firefly users will also have a chance to go and perform battery swapping, which is just so amazing. So good in a way that we are going to see Firefly deliveries getting to 10,000 units before the end of this year. I'm quite certain. I remain long. I remain strong. And I still believe that this is the biggest or one of the biggest game changer onto NIO. Battery swapping station, it is what makes NIO to be so special. Had it not been it, I don't think NIO would have made the or generated they're generating on a monthly basis. The kind of success that is being talked about when people are talking about NIO. Because look at the NIO ES9 for instance. That car is quite pricey. Starting price 499,000 RMB for the entry version of that car.
But, if you go and to to battery as a service, which entails you going to a battery swapping stations, then that cost you or it brings down the price of your car from 498,000 RMB to just 390 thousand RMB. This speaks volumes about the kind of technology this is. So, I am happy man and I am excited. I think we should brace ourselves for what is coming, but yeah, I mean, if you check in terms of uh look, the battery swapping stations in the highways, this is what makes me also be so excited. NIO has got 1,039 uh battery swapping stations along the highways, right? It's just so so so so good, right? And the charging stations, take cognizant of the fact that charging stations of NIO that they have in China are currently at 29,041.
The last time we spoke about this data, it was uh somewhere uh in the 28,000, right? Just over the 28,000 mark. And seeing NIO already over 29,000, it speaks volumes of where NIO is headed, right? I mean, the real cumulative battery swaps completed since inception, as I'm doing this video, it's 112,890,000 uh 443 battery swaps completed, which shows you how reliable this technology is, which shows you the resilience of this technology. My dear friends, it's just so so so so massive, right? And now, when you talk about charging stations, you are talking about 5,048, which now makes NIO to have total uh stations including charging and battery swapping to 8,138, which is just so good, right? I mean um As I'm doing this video, 86.2% of NIO chargers are being used by non-NIO users. That needs to settle in.
I I I think I need to repeat that. 86.2% of NIO chargers or of the time that NIO chargers are being used, it's coming from non-NIO users, which is absolutely great and it speaks a lot of volumes about where NIO is at. I mean, it's only 13.8% where you will get to see NIO users using their own charging stations, but 86.2% of the time, it is the other EV competitors, right? And this is all thanks to the battery swapping stations that NIO gave their users as an as the option and it's just so massive, man.
It's just so massive and it makes me to look forward to to more good news coming in the future, right? I mean, this is what NIO is currently having in China.
And by the end of this year, they will be having way more than this. Like I said, 4,600 battery swapping stations is their target and yeah, hopefully they get to that or they crash that, surpass that with fifth generation battery swapping stations, right? I think there will be a so much demand for the fifth gen because of the Firefly being added into into into that swapping station, right?
If they will be they will be massive demand and I think NIO will be forced to also aggressively deploy the fifth generation on a large scale because of the demand they will be seeing from Firefly users. But anyways, let me leave this one here. Tell me what you think about this. Blue sky is coming.
