Now, if you are thinking about ordering a 2027 Corvette Z06, this video could literally save you months, maybe even a year of waiting.

[00:01:11]Because right now, we have constraints data showing certain options are 0% availability.

[00:01:18]Now, with these [music] constraints, that means if you add them, your order could sit, your build could get skipped, [music] and you may be watching other people get their cars before you do.

[00:01:28]So, today we're going to talk about the history of the Z06, why this information matters more than ever, [music] the exact options that are currently on constraint, and how to build your Z06 depending [music] on whether you want to wait or get it fast. Let's go.

[00:01:45]The Z06 name is just not [music] another trim. It's the heart of the Corvette performance. It goes all the way back to the C5 Z06, [music] a car built to bring track performance to the street.

[00:01:58]Then came the C6 >> [music] >> Z06.

[00:02:01]Naturally aspirated V8, lightweight, raw performance. [music] A lot of people still consider that one of the most purest driver cars ever.

[00:02:13]Then the C7 Z06.

[00:02:15]Supercharged power, aggressive styling, massive performance leap.

[00:02:22]And now, the C8 Z06.

[00:02:26]Flat-plane crank V8, exotic sound, and 8600 RPM [music] redline.

[00:02:35]This is no longer just a Corvette.

[00:02:37]This is a global performance car.

[00:02:40]And because of [music] that, the demand is high.

[00:02:44]Supply is huge and constraints matter more than ever.

[00:02:51]Why this video matters.

[00:02:56]If you are a first-time Corvette buyer or a previous Corvette [music] buyer, this is where people make mistakes. They go online, build their dream [music] car, check every option they love, submit their order, [music] and then wonder why nothing is happening.

[00:03:14]Here's why.

[00:03:16]GM builds cars based on availability.

[00:03:19]Dealers submit based on allocations.

[00:03:22]Constraints control [music] production.

[00:03:25]So, if you select an option that GM doesn't have, which has been a lot lately, your order can be delayed or skipped [music] entirely.

[00:03:36]This is why this video matters, cuz you have [music] two choices.

[00:03:40]Get your car fast or get your car exactly how you want it.

[00:03:45]And sometimes, [music] just sometimes, you can't have both.

[00:03:52]2027 [music] Z06 constraints. Let's talk about what actually constrained right now.

[00:03:59]The high wing carbon flash, T O F, 50%.

[00:04:04]This one is not so terrible, but still limited. Only about half availability.

[00:04:10]This still could slow down your order just slightly if you decide to go with the high wing and carbon flash.

[00:04:17]The high wing visible carbon fiber, T O G, 13%.

[00:04:23]This is where it gets serious. Only 13%?

[00:04:27]That's pretty low. If you select this option, you should probably expect delays. Anything around carbon fiber at this point within the General Motors company, you should probably expect delays. Whether you order a Stingray, Grand Sport, [music] Z06, or ZR1, ground effects carbon flash, CFV 43%. [music] A moderate constraint, not too terrible, but still not guaranteed.

[00:04:57]Ground effects invisible carbon fiber, CFV 20%. Again, low availability. This is another possible delay risk. Like I mentioned earlier in this video, if you decide to order anything like carbon fiber, carbon flash, [music] or even anything with ground effects related to the Corvette, you [music] should expect possible delays. Over the previous years of General Motors {slash} Chevrolet building the Corvette Z06 and other trim levels of the Corvette, they all experienced delays of some sort, whether it was a ZR1, Z06, Stingray, the E-Ray, and possibly the Grand Sport. Anything that has ground effects or carbon fiber or carbon flash dealing with it, you should expect delays.

[00:05:46]Admiral blue metallic, 0%. That means not happening right now. If you want this color, you'll definitely be waiting. Unfortunately, a lot of dealerships didn't get any allocations for this [music] color in regarding to the Z06 or the Stingrays. Heck, some of them didn't even get any allocations for the Grand Sport, which is what General Motors is saving [music] the Admiral blue color for.

[00:06:12]Pitch gray metallic, same situation.

[00:06:15]Zero availability. Could be the next order cycle, could be [music] later.

[00:06:20]Nobody knows. I will say that I did get a tour plant [music] when I was at the bash this previous weekend. And I got a chance to see pitch gray metallic in person. And I will admit, it is a very, [music] very beautiful color, which I think a lot of customers will gravitate towards it for numerous reasons. But I'm going to give you a few reasons in this video. One, orange goes well with pitch gray metallic.

[00:06:48]White [music] goes well with pitch gray metallic.

[00:06:52]Blue goes well >> [music] >> with pitch gray metallic. And red goes well with pitch gray metallic. With that being said, pitch [music] gray metallic will be a popular color because you have so many other colors that goes well with [music] that one color, which gives you an opportunity to build your car in a way [music] that you would like.

[00:07:12]If you want a Z06 early, then you need to avoid all the options that I just mentioned that are on possible constraint. Build a simple Corvette Z06.

[00:07:21]Build smart and get [music] yours faster. Now, if you don't mind waiting, then do the opposite. Build your dream car. Because this might be a 5 to 10-year car for you, a forever car for you, or like they say, a one-of-one, a collector's [music] car. And that's the case, get exactly what you want.

[00:07:45]Yes, you may wait, but when it shows up, it's your car.
