Not a bad tool at all. These two groups, bacteria and fungi, have been fighting against one another for who knows how long. Fungi developed antibiotics and alcohol against bacteria. Bacteria developed rapamycin. So we humans, we utilized this war. We took the antibiotics. We consumed the alcohol and now we test rapamycin. And rapamycin increases consistently lifespan of lab animals, lab mice. But how? By reducing cancer rate. You see 80% of these lab mice, they die from cancer.
