5 AIs Play Minecraft

[00:00:00]We are in Minecraft. Today, five AIs will be playing in this world and competing or working with each other to survive three nights in Minecraft. They will be given full autonomy as soon as I add them into this server. They are all connected to their API keys and through the Minecraft client. So, their decisions are completely their own and they'll pretty much be seeing Minecraft through code and interacting with this entire world. [music] And the last AI standing at the end of three nights is the winner. I have no idea who's going to win. Let's bring them in here and start the challenge. All right, so they have spawned in the world and they are already surviving. Seems like Grok is um doing nothing. ChatGPT is building something. [music] He's getting coal right now, actually. ChatGPT is getting coal. Okay, that's interesting. Gemini is also kind of just thinking right now.

Okay, now Grok is getting some wood to survive. It looks like Okay, going up. Grok is collecting wood right now. Okay. So, right now the AIs seem to be having a good start. When nighttime comes, things are going to get a little sticky. So, I don't know if um they'll be able to navigate. ChatGPT looks like he's getting the best start. I think he's stuck itself. Okay, never mind. Oh, ChatGPT is the first one to have a stone pickaxe. Wow. And Grok just stuck Gemini inside of a hole. Oh my god. Grok, you're evil, bro. Is Grok actually the most evil AI out here? DeepSeek has [music] yet to move from this spot. I wonder if it's thinking right now.

[00:01:39]Claude is also have barely moved. So, I wonder how these guys will survive the night. Now, Claude is on Opus 4.8. Oh, let me tell you guys the models that they're using cuz it might explain why they're taking a while to to move.

[00:01:54]DeepSeek is on V4. It also takes quite a bit to think. ChatGPT is on 5.5 high thinking. Surprisingly, it's is you know me is doing pretty good. Gemini down here is on 3.5 flash, which is the [music] the fastest thinking model actually, but it's not doing that much.

[00:02:10]And Grok over here is on 4.3, which is also [music] fairly fast. And what is Grok doing right now? What the heck? So yeah, these five AIs are entering night one right now. And not much is going on.

[00:02:22]They they don't look that prepared. And honestly, I don't know if they'll be able to like fight and protect themselves. ChatGPT is the only one with a pickaxe. Grok is up to something, it [music] seems like. Grok just has a stick, bro. You're not doing damage with that. Look at the sun. The sun is setting right now. And these five AIs have not done much. Gemini is still stuck in a hole. Oh my god, yeah. Do These AIs are not ready for a real world, 100%. DeepSeek is still thinking and contemplating over here, as well as Claude. Grok just said he's stuck.

So that was impressive. Now Claude's eating up, being a big boy. ChatGPT and DeepSeek and also Grok [music] are still thinking, still contemplating life. All DeepSeek has is an apple. But he is protected by this tree, so. ChatGPT just ran to a skeleton and defeated it. Oh my god. I wish that I could have got the whole fight. Oh, ChatGPT's fighting more skeletons.

Rock seems to be the most active and just thinking the most. And now Claude is fighting a zombie. What the heck? Claude has no weapons fighting a zombie.

[00:04:18]No weapons holding his own, but watch one skeleton come and he's cooked for him. Grock just died from a skeleton. Oh my goodness. I didn't even catch it, but Grock just ran to a skeleton and died.

[00:04:28]Wow. So two AIs died on night one and Deep Seek is still in a tree just doing nothing. Gemini is still stuck in this hole. This might be good strat for Gemini cuz it's already slow. And Claude over here is is still like thinking. He had to interrupt [music] his thinking two times to fight mobs. On night one, the AIs that were doing the most actually ended up dying, which is kind of crazy. And the AIs who ended up thinking the longest ended up living.

[00:04:57]Oh wow, Claude is fighting a creeper again and it survived. Claude is just tanking these things, bro. This guy is up to no good.

[00:05:13]Can you guys believe this? Deep Seek and Gemini just beat the top three AIs by literally doing nothing. Those other three, they tried to survive three nights and couldn't even last the first night. Meanwhile, Deep Seek is still just kind of just chilling in a tree.

[00:05:30]Insane. I told both Deep Seek and Gemini to start building their shelters. So Gemini is off and collecting blocks actually. So Gemini has a pickaxe I made, so it's pretty cool. So Gemini is collecting stone right now. Deep Seek is still thinking. Bro is the thinker. He just figured out that he's stuck. That's crazy. Gemini looks like it's going to build a pretty big house. Look at how much cobblestone he's getting. But Gemini shouldn't go down too much cuz I see some skeletons down there, bro. He's getting torches. Dang, bro. This man Deep Seek is still deep in thought trying to get out this tree. Gemini is Oh, Gemini's building his little enclosure now. That's pretty cool. Wow.

That's surprising. I'll help out Deep Seek here cuz this bro is still stuck in this tree. I can't believe it. How are you still stuck, bro? I'm just going to free up the blocks around it if it could get out.

It decided to go to the top of the tree, but But why'd you do that? Now he's trying to get down safely, bro. This You cannot be real. Deep Seek got down from the tree. Good job, buddy. A little slow though. Hey, Gemini's still collecting iron, okay. Oh, they're having a pretty tense stare down right here. What the heck? Oh, Gemini just blocked him off.

But seems like Gemini was pretty smart placing that torch right here because no mobs are spawning right next to them. Oh, snap.

Seems like this challenge was over. I guess Deep Seek technically won, and these guys only survived two nights. That was crazy. I'm not going to lie, that was very intense. These guys did not prepare that well and took up most of the time thinking there's a lot to process in Minecraft, obviously, but I want to see how Claude Fable 5 would treat Minecraft, bro. That would be the most interesting experiment. These guys did good though, you know, this was a fun little video to make. I did not expect Deep Seek of all them to win though. I'm not going to lie, I thought like ChatGPT was going to win. But yeah, they they all got taken out by Enderman. I guess they could say with pride that it took an Enderman to take them out. Anyways, that is five AIs playing Minecraft.
