College football programs must strategically manage NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) revenue to remain competitive for elite status and retain top talent, as demonstrated by Washington Huskies' need to increase their roster payroll from approximately $22 million to $30 million to compete with Big Ten powerhouses like Ohio State, Michigan, and Oregon, while balancing financial investments with athletic development and recruiting success.

CASH INFLUX: Washington Huskies Have To BOOST NIL To Remain Among Big Ten's ELITE, RETAIN Top Talent追加:
Pat Chun needs to find a way to keep the money flowing for Washington football.
You are Locked on Huskys, your daily podcast on the Washington Huskys, part of the Locked On Network, your team every day. Welcome back in to another edition of the Lockdown Huskys podcast.
I'm Roman Thomas. Thank you for making this your first watch or first listen of the day. And I've got a really fun show coming at all you everydayers on this Wednesday. I want to make sure that we talk about what else Washington needs in the 2027 class because the class is just in a very interesting spot right now with so many commits. We'll get there a little bit later on. We'll also talk about some of the latest news from the recruiting trail that happened while I was out of town for a couple of days.
So, I can't wait to get into all of that. But before we get there, I want to make sure that we talk about one of the biggest issues, which is still an odd thing to talk about, facing the world of college sports in general, and that is cash flow as a whole. Because it's time for Pat Chun and the Udub athletic department to find a way to really continue to open the floodgates for obviously the university as a whole.
It's great to see the softball team get a $22 million donation to make some major upgrades. That is certainly very welld deserved and long overdue. And seeing that was very cool because that's something that I think as it pertains to the football team is something that we can continue to see because obviously there was that list that made its rounds on social media from college uh front office that valued Washington's roster somewhere in the range of $28 million.
And I know there was an interview that uh Pat Chun did on the radio. I think it was one of the Huer brothers that said something similar. And there have been several other things that are out there that have and something I' I've I've been told as well that's that number is not accurate. It's it's it's really not.
And I know the numbers that um John and whichever Hero brother was throughout were somewhere more in the range of 21 to $23 million. and looking at where this Husky roster is right now and especially the way the way you're able to go out and recruit in the 2026 class, what you've been able to do in 2027 as well is very clear that Washington has some of the resources that you need to go out there and compete. It can always be better, right? Look at just some of the names that you still weren't able to bring in in the 2026 class and what it took to see some of these guys go to, you know, other powers, whichever one that that you you might want to throw out there. I I think that there is still a way to go out there and continue to open the floodgates because let's just operate between the these two numbers that I just threw out there and say that Washington's actual payroll right now is somewhere in that range of $22 million.
Again, it's very weird to throw all these numbers out there be, but that this is the world of college sports that we're living in. So, it's time to get on board. And let's say you find a way to get that up to $30 million. With the way that this coaching staff has shown it is able to go out there and identify, recruit, acquire, and then retain talent, Washington is already going to be wind up being one of the the premier destinations in the Big 10. If that's a number that is feasible for you to go out there and get to, and there are a lot of different ways to do that, right?
Like when you go and you look at what Paton's background is at Washington State, he was able to set records with fundraising over there. He's already done a very good job of financing and fundraising here at Washington. The Mont Lake Futures decision to shutter that is something that I'm still a little skeptical of to be honest because obviously he knows way better than I would what might be coming down the pipeline from things like the College Sports Commission, all that. But I think that it was a little bit premature in that regard. And I'm curious to see what Dogs Unleash, the internal NIL marketing team, might be able to come up with in the coming weeks and months to be able to continue to, you know, keep the the cash flow up with some of the Fortune 500 companies in the area and so on and so forth because Washington has so many different avenues to explore to go out there and and get that that money really. And I think that again, if you're able to get to somewhere in that range of $30 million for a roster, I think that what can happen at Washington, which we've already seen, what that ceiling looks like because Washington played for the national championship game three years ago. They were in that game like that. That is something that I feel like is lost in the larger world of college football, which is still very weird to me because obviously so much has happened since then. The roster has changed so much.
Absolutely. But what can happen at Washington is still the elite of the elite of the elite. We've seen that several times. It h it's happened so consistently throughout UDub's history.
Obviously, there were some dark periods in there. unfortunately is there during the time when I was growing up. But I think that this is one of those things where the more you look at what can continue to happen in Washington on a year-in-year basis, it is so so important to go out there and find different ways to just achieve that cash flow and continue to grow what Washington is in this new era of NIL because it's something that Jed Fish has talked about since he got to Seattle of there is there is so many different ways to explore that and to continue to just add to what the the UDub brand is. So, I'm very curious to see if that is something that over these next couple of months, especially, let's say this team takes that next step forward that we've talked about so often on this program, right? And you go from eight and four in the regular season last year and let's say you get win number nine. Let's say you get win number 10. Let's say that happens this coming year. There is there are no excuses from anyone at that point in time that you can put out there. you need to go out and find a way to keep that roster together, keep all that talent in Washington, on Mont Lake, whatever, because there are so many different things that you can look at what the future of this roster can be if you're able to retain some of these, you know, top returners, right? The Dylan Robinsons of the world, Zus Ry, Elinius Davis, bringing him back for another year on the defensive side. And then you look on offense, John Mills, Desmond Robuck. Obviously, I'm not I'm not going to go through every name here. you you get the point of what I'm saying, but with these veterans that we've already seen produce, if they take that next step this year, and then you combine that with the Cody Greens, the Derk Coleman Brusses, the Tres Davis's, Jordan Clay, Ram Zack Fuent, some of these other high-end freshman that really stood out and held their own during spring practice. You combine all of that, yeah, that's going to run you a pretty penny. However, with what we've seen that this coaching staff can do and you're able to, you know, go out and win some of those games on the road, you need to continue to do that consistently and you need to get over the hump and win those games at Wisconsin. You need to beat those ranked teams like Oregon at home where you had an opportunity to do that. You need to go out and find ways to again continue to elevate that program, continue to grow and improve internally. But with time, I think it's very clear that this coaching staff has proven that it can do that. retaining guys like Ryan Walters and looking on the offensive side of the ball, the Scotty Grahams, Michael Switzers, Kevin Cummings of the world who have just proven to be tremendous developers at just Washington throughout their college careers as well, wherever they've been coaching before. I I look at everything that Washington has been able to do in terms of acquiring talent and developing it, especially just over these last two years with this specific coaching staff, and I think that it should give you a lot of hope. I think that there is a lot to like there, but you need to make sure that in the Big 10 especially, that is such a big part of this when you have to go up against these universities that have been pumping out these dollars for so long as well. Ohio State, USC, Oregon, Michigan, Penn State, even some of these other programs. Look at the the $870 million that was privately funded by Northwestern to get that new stadium.
Imagine some of those donors start putting that into NIL as well. That's going to be a real threat. Some of these other programs as well, we know Michigan State is a program that can certainly compete at the high end financially speaking. There are a lot of other programs in this conference that can absolutely run it up dollar-wise. Look at what UCLA is doing on the recruiting trail right now. That's not going to be cheap either. So, I look at everything that Washington has, Washington is, and Washington can be on a year in and yearout basis. And it all comes back to one thing at the end of the day. And it's not the thing that should define college sports. Let me make that very clear. But that's where we are right now. Right now, so much of this is financially driven. And it's so weird to have to sit here and talk about this.
And I know I've said that several times whenever we've had some of these conversations, but I think that right now that is something that Pat Shun especially needs to find a way to lean into. Whether that's okay, we need to, you know, restart M Lake futures for the time being until we're told, all right, we can't go that route anymore. Collectives are being shut down or, you know, more highly regulated, whatever it might be. whatever there there needs to be another way to find way to get more cash into this building especially because we've seen that it exists with the go big fundraiser all the different things that Washington has been able to do since Jedfish got here to upgrade facilities to upgrade you know acquiring talent right again look at this 2026 class look at some of the guys you brought in in 2025 those things are not cheap so it's very clear that a lot of these things are possible at Washington. But now it's not about possible. It's about leveling up and it's about being among the elite because this is a program that should be among the top 25 and should be competing for a spot in the College Football Playoff every single year. And I'm really curious to see what that's going to look like because Washington is certainly in the mix for some big-time guys in the 2027 class. Moving right along here, let's dive into legacy prospect Tai Kennedy here to start. The three-star offensive tackle from Mountain View High School down in Arizona who is set to announce his commitment on July 1st. Again, this is the son of Lincoln Kennedy at 6'6, 275 lbs. He released a top six over the last week and he's got Washington listed alongside Arizona State, Cal, Minnesota, Michigan, and Utah. And this is a guy that I'm very curious to see what happens with Washington here because this is somebody that obviously the Huskies have had their eye on for a long time. They were pretty early offer for him as well for someone who got injured and missed a good portion of his junior season. So, I'm curious to see what happens and how much that might I don't want to say affect his recruitment moving forward because it looks like he's healthy. He's been able to bounce back from that very well, but I think that he might not have been able to put on uh as much on tape as he might have wanted, which might just affect how some schools view him in his top six where this is a guy who's big, strong, and seems to just be viewed as a developmental tackle prospect, which for a lot of these, you know, these universities is not necessarily a problem. And I think that's where Washington is right now just with a lot of these tackles that they're recruiting whether it was Ben Lather who wound up at Stanford or even a Louiswis and Malori Olabola where if that's a guy that you want to find a way to get him on the field early certainly you're going to try to find a way to do that.
Obviously he wound up at Notre Dame but I don't just look at Tai Kennedy in that light. I think Rashan Labatai is another prospect to keep your eye on that just kind of fits that same mold of especially when you look at Rashawn who's just still so skinny in his upper body. like that's okay at this point in his career because you've got a whole lot of time to get him in the program, get just obviously put that extra weight on him and see what happens. But I don't know if Washington wants to do that with several tackles in this class. So, I'm curious to see what that might look like, especially when you look at just some of the ways that Washington has gone about looking at tackle prospects since both Lther and Louis Mallori Olabola came off the board where another name that I've I've just been really curious to see what happens where he doesn't hold a UDub offer at this point in time, but seeing Michael Switzer go do an inschool visit with him at Inglemore High School in Kenmore a couple of weeks ago is three star offensive tackle Ben Rainwater who's got some visits set up with Washington State. Uh Oregon State, I believe, has another one for him. I think Boise State is in that mix as well, but looks like Utah's trying to get in that mix. And there are a couple other power for four programs that seem to be working their way into just the mix for him. And at 6'6, 290 lbs. He's got big long arms as well where I'm not sure where Washington might view him. Obviously, without an offer at this point in time, it's a little bit hard to gauge that. But that's just another one of those prospects where you see that, you know, Michael Switzer goes and visits.
Obviously, that's something to to just kind of raise your eyebrow a little bit, right? And then you look at that offer list, it's oh, okay. Kind of like with Rashad Lavatai where obviously since winning the uh Under Armour next MVP down in Phoenix a couple months ago, we've seen his stock rise a little bit more in that regard. But I think that Ben Rainwater in terms of the size and the just the frame, the physicality, some of those different things. I'm curious to see where he might fit into this mold and how Washington might judge this this class of tackles going forward because I look at especially with how well the Huskies are recruiting on the interior and you're probably still going to want to take two tackles but we'll talk about that a little bit more in a few minutes because there are several different ways for this group to shape up along the offensive line. So with that being said let's move into the secondary or there are a pair of prospects I want to talk about. Let's start with four-star quarterback Camille Loud from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, who is somebody that the Huskys have certainly done a very good job with over the last couple of months.
And he's seen his stock rise in a big way where he got named a Navy All-American. And this is someone where when you look at the film, I really like what we've seen from him. And it's something that I know I've said to you every day before, but whenever we talk recruiting, I think it's very important to mention that so many of these outside quarterbacks that the Huskies are recruiting fall into this the same mold of dudes that are, you know, six foot and above, uh, just play very long arms, really good play strength on the outside, and just love to play press coverage because John Richardson likes to teach that. Obviously, it's something that we've seen works very, very well in what Ryan Walters wants to do on the outside as well. So, it's just fair to say that this coach exam has a type when it comes to what they're looking at from outside corner. And I think that's something that Camille Loud fits very, very well where he announces top six on Tuesday afternoon of Auburn, Cal, Florida State, Miami, and Utah. And this is a recruitment where I feel like the Huskies are sitting in a very good spot right now. And one of the reasons I say that is because he's got two official visits lined up right now or outside of a Washington visit where he's set to arrive on campus on Friday of Arizona State and Utah. Obviously, Arizona State didn't make his top six. So, I'm curious to see what might happen in these coming weeks where obviously under TSH Leo, Cal has become a major threat, especially for a lot of these defensive prospects on the recruiting trail. curious to see if uh a visit might come about there or maybe he wants to go explore the Southeast a little bit. Auburn, Florida State, Miami might take up a couple of these these visit spots as well and certainly would make things a little bit more difficult for Washington at this point in time. But I think that because he's also got a Utah visit set that'll be a little bit later on in June. But I think that with Washington, just looking at the way that this coaching staff has recruited an outside corner over these last couple of years and the development that John Richardson especially has been able to put on film of, you know, sending Takario Davis and Ephesians Pryock to the NFL, what Dylan Robinson was able to do as a true freshman and of course from some of these other guys from other stops along the way. I think that with what Washington is going to be able to sell, it's it's going to be very hard to beat them. I'm not saying they have the inside track or anything like that, but I just like where they sit.
And this is something where especially as Camille Loud has started to become a bigger name on the the national circuit where he's up to 26 offers now. I feel like with the way that this coaching staff has been able to just develop and cultivate a lot of these relationships that the Huskys have put themselves in a really good spot for him because this is one of those guys where especially at about 175 pounds with the way this quarterback room is working out right now, he's one of those dudes where it's okay to come in and take a backseat for a year, right? And then if you show out in spring practice a lot like Elijah Durr did this past year where you know you're able to fight your way into the rotation, that's great. Nobody's going to be mad about that. But Emanuel Carley is someone who will have another year of eligibility remaining. Dylan Robinson obviously will have two more going into 2027. And then you look at Rajan Duncan, Jiren Jones, Elias Johnson who obviously starred during spring practice as well.
Ramons Adams being another name in that room. If that guy takes a backseat for a year and you just continue to stack classes and have blue chip talent waiting in the wings with again like I was saying earlier, the way this coaching staff trusts its development process and has proven time and again that it can just take guys to that next level. I feel like you you really feel good about where this roster is sitting at so many different spots. and he doesn't necessarily have the same level of ranking. But I feel very similarly in terms of what Washington's plan for him would be about three-star defensive back Giovanni Henley from Juniper Perisera High School in Northern California where this is a guy who's set to announce his commitment on June 6th and he's committing from a group of BYU Cal Penn State, Texas and Washington. And according to a report from 247 or excuse me from uh rivals uh now Brandon Huffman uh he's actually changed his official visit to Washington from June 19th to May 29th for this first visit weekend that's coming up where I'm curious to see what happens here because he's got a pretty full slate. Penn State on June 5th Cal on June 11th supposed to visit Texas on June 19th but with a commit date of June 6th while he's supposed to be at Penn State. I'm curious to see what happens here because this is one where you look at things like the rivals recruiting prediction machine. I don't necessarily always put a lot of stock into those without, you know, some of those crystal ball predictions or whatever, but Washington is is second behind Cal right now. Uh, and I think that's a a pretty good indication of where things are where Henley 6' 165 pounds. This is a guy who I think is a pure nickel at the next level. and you you watch the film, it's very clear that, you know, the athleticism and space, that kind of jitterbug quickness that you're looking for in there along with the willingness and ability to tackle in the run game. All of those things certainly show up. And I'm not trying to say that he's not a priority for Washington. That's that's not the case here. But I think that in terms of what the Huskys are are looking at, I I think that Cal might have the inside track here. I think those things certainly have just kind of lined up that way for a while. I I was a little surprised to see his teammate four-star safety Malachi Tufu choose Oregon over Cal. But I think that this is one of those things where if we if we go back and we look at this class in December and what it looks like and Washington does wind up with three quarterbacks and let's say they wind up getting Sincere Gaylord, uh Camille Loud and Maurice Williams who's already committed obviously it has been since December. I feel like that's a really good crop of corners where a guy like Camille Loud certainly looks more like an outside corner in terms of what the build is and all these different things, but we felt that same way about Rams Adams and seeing him play the nickel this spring was a whole lot of fun and just adding that that length and that athleticism to that position is is something that just continues to help elevate this Ryan Walters defense in a whole lot of different ways. So, that's something I would certainly keep a very close eye on as it pertains to Giovanni Henley's recruitment. If this is someone that Washington winds up taking, I can't say it would shock me. But, in terms of where things sit right now, I think that's just kind of the most realistic way to describe the lay of the land, if you will, and how things are playing out there. But, we're going to keep an eye on that. With that being said, let's talk about how this 2027 class can play out because Washington is in a a really unique spot here.
I want to preface this discussion by saying this is a little weird because as it stands right now. We look at Washington's 2027 class and I I just I I don't think we've ever really been in a spot like this where you look at you've got like 15 commits already at this point in time. So, I I look at what this class is going to need over the next couple of weeks with the first weekend of official visits just a couple of days away and like there there obviously positions that we still need to talk about, right? We just did that with a couple of them. We're going to start with the defensive backs here, but Washington is just not in a point where it's, oh, okay, you need to go, you know, bring in these 17 or 18 guys. He's got a couple commits. This is nice. This is good building blocks. Like, no, you already have a good portion of your class committed in mid to late May.
Like, this is the this coaching staff has done a very good job of getting these guys in the boat early, building relationships with them, and locking down a lot of their top targets that they've had for several months, like even years in some cases. When you look at guys like Asa, Willyava, Johnny Yawan, uh Brilland Pope obviously deserves to be another one. Zerk Sydney is somebody this coaching staff has absolutely had their eye on for a very long time. But I look in the secondary right now and I wanted to go through this in, you know, a numbers sense, which obviously doesn't always tell the whole story as we'll talk about with wide receiver, but I look at defensive back and I would certainly expect Washington to bring in two to three more guys. The first one in that light is four-star safety Jaden Walk Green who got a couple of crystal balls choose the Huskies over the last week or so from rivals. And so that's a guy where obviously he feels a very specific need for you in that post safety sort of role. So that's one guy I would certainly keep an eye on. But then you know we mentioned uh Camille Loud, sincere Gaylord. Jaylen Hill is another guy who's going to be on campus this weekend even though he's got a Nebraska crystal ball and is expected to announce his commitment on June 9th. I I think that with where Washington sits with some of their top targets in the secondary, this is one of those spots where you can absolutely just continue to press and see what you can do to get these guys committed early on. But it's why a couple weeks ago I talked about maybe there there might be a surprise visitor at some point or just some of these different things that could happen in the secondary because Washington has just done such a good job here but it still just feels like they're they're not done working where you know we saw how the Gavin Williams thing played out.
It seemed like Asa will be an Arizona State lean there for a little while.
you're able to go out there and get that job done after there was a report from rivals a couple of weeks ago that the Sunundevils have made a significant surge in the recruitment of Isala Asu Willilava. But that's one thing I just wanted to just bring to your attention as it pertains to the secondary because as this class shapes up in terms of a numbers perspective, there are just a lot of pieces that are still moving because you look at some of these other positions, right? Linebacker, you're done there. running back. I don't think we're going to see another guy outside of Jeremy Adenju, quarterback. You're 99% done depending on, you know, what might happen with Kaden Jones, but he got an Arizona crystal ball. So, curious to see how some of those things might work out, but you're just done already at several positions. So, you can really just put a lot of focus into just putting some finishing touches on this class, which is a really fun thing to think about where I I look at wide receiver as that that real finishing touch, right? where you got four blue chip guys that are going to be coming on campus over the next couple of weeks.
Four-star wide receiver Dante Tyson obviously being the one this weekend, four-star Osani Gales next weekend, and then Trey Moore and Zion White on June 19th. But I look at this class and if there were the if I had to give you two names that I felt the best about at this point in time, it'd be Dante Tyson and Trey Moore. I I think Osani Gales is like like a tier below them right now.
And with Zion White, it's just felt like Washington has put so much of their energy into other guys. And we'll see what happens with that one, I'll say.
But I I look at just especially Dante Tyson and Trey Moore, and Washington has obviously been pushing for both of those dudes for a very very long time. And you look at a crop where just a crop of receivers where, like we said, Brilland Pope, Zerk Sydney, those guys have been committed for a long time. They haven't taken any visits or shown any inkling of wanting to look elsewhere at this point in time. So, the more I look at what Washington is doing at wide receiver, it's just one of those things where we're going to see turnover in that room in some regard, right? Whatever that might look like, we don't know yet. But with how the Huskies have been able to recruit that position over the last couple of years especially, why not go out there and push for some of the best?
Because we've said on this show for a very long time now that Trey Moore is not just among the top targets for Washington at wide receiver, but he's among their top targets period in this class. And to see the Huskies up there, that final three with Miami, with Ohio State, that's another one of those dudes that can just come in and make an instant impact for you. So, you still go push for that guy. It doesn't matter what numbers look like. Osani Gales is another one who talent-wise, who cares what the numbers look like? If that kid wants to commit to your class, you take him. You figure the rest out later.
Dante Tyson is another one where in terms of the athleticism, the size, the talent that he brings to the table, yeah, that guy wants to commit. All right, you make it work. You figure it out later. You have so much talent in the room. Great. Why not level up? Why not continue to just build that blue chip depth that we have talked about on this show for years at this point that Washington can do and has the ability to do at every single position at wide receiver and just continue to make a strength a strength. I I think that's a lot of fun to think about, especially just as it pertains to how this class is already shaped up and how it really can look by the time signing day rolls around in December. And I feel the same way about the offensive line in that regard where you have another one of those just tippy top uh targets in terms of three star center Reese Russell. I look at what could come next for this group. We talked about tackle a little bit with some of these guys that Washington certainly likes a whole lot but are a little bit further away from the field. And you combine them with some of these dudes that you're after on the interior with four-star Dejan Yarborough, Lincoln Magio, Jakova Doyle, those guys leading the way. Three star Tristan Dair being another dude that this coaching staff absolutely likes a lot. And I look at that group of targets and say just more specifically on the interior. If you get two, maybe three of those guys, you're extremely happy with how this class looks and how it continues to shape up because again, you are building that high-end depth at a major position of need, especially in this conference. And I think that with the way that Michael Switzer especially has been able to just coach up and develop this group over the last couple of years that there's just so much to like and there's so much to just see where this group can continue to go over the next couple of just months in terms of the recruiting trail and this next season in terms of the group that you are going to be able to put out there on any given Saturday. So, I think that with the way Washington has just continued to build that momentum and especially specifically on the offensive line as it pertains to its top targets, expect three more offensive linemen, maybe even four at this point in time.
And it's going to come from this group in my opinion. I feel like with the the way that Michael Switzer has recruited along the offensive front that you should expect Washington to land several of their top targets as it pertains to the offensive line. And now looking at the defensive line, Washington's done a great job so far. You have now a pair of blue chip recruits that this coaching staff has been after for a very very long time in John Yawani and Tvita Nonu now officially and now three star Mabataki Uangu as well. having him in the boat. That is such a solid core of guys that it's it's the same thing, you know, as we've been talking about with some of these other positions where it's about going out and continuing to add that high-end depth wherever you might be able to find it. Where this coaching staff is very high on Josh Christensen, the three star defensive lineman from Lake Asiggo High School down in Oregon, who's just continuing to rise and rise and rise. Now he's got an Oklahoma official visit set. Nebraska, Utah are teams that are pushing to get him on campus for a visit as well. So that's a guy where don't look at the rating, look at where he's going and who is making a significant push to get him in the boat with Udub and Oregon seemingly the teams that have been out front for a while now in that recruitment. A guy like Achilles Raina, a local prospect who if he does set up an official visit to Washington, that's not going to shock me. just a big toolsy edge rusher where if you can add a guy like that to your class and the same thing is with a guy like Tom Malu, you like the size, you like the athleticism, all those those different just check boxes that Washington's looking for in terms of a Big 10 defensive lineman. Great. You figure that out a little bit later. You find ways to make that work. You find a way to add that guy to your class and then again just figure the rest out later.
Troy Milo is another name. Jaguane, both those guys have official visits set up as well. And the more this defensive line continues to work itself out, I think you have some of those dudes who, you know, I I look at Tvidita in a a different class than Johnny just because they're such different calibers or just players really in terms of what they bring along the defensive line that I think both those dudes could absolutely find a way to contribute in 2027. And I don't necessarily think that with what Washington is doing in terms of who they might be looking at right now, I think that they're also just again looking to build that depth because you look at what this this class of freshman defensive linemen can look like this year between JD Hill, Derrick Coleman, Brussa, Ram, Zack Fuin, Tayou Mukis.
You've got some of those guys and if you can continue to add to that, that's awesome. However, you want to be able to combine that high-end depth with guys that you really like a year or two down the road because you're not going to be able to fit everybody in, you know, in terms of the money stuff we were talking about earlier. You're not going to be able to fit everybody in in terms of playing time. You can't promise eight guys in a class at the same position at least. I know I'm exaggerating there a little bit. You can't promise them all playing time and find a way for all of that to work out along with everything else that you're doing in that in that group especially along the defensive line where as we've talked about every single player especially along the interior has eligibility remaining for the 2027 class. So there are so many different or 2027 season I should say.
So there are so many different ways for things to work out and I'm just so curious to see what might happen because Washington is sitting in a real nice spot on the recruiting trail. But that's all I got for you today. Thank you so much for tuning in. I really do appreciate it.
