The United States provides $430 million annually in subsidies to American rice farmers, making their rice artificially cheap and destroying Haiti's domestic rice economy, while simultaneously sending Haiti only $350 million in foreign aid—less than the amount spent on subsidies that harm Haitian farmers.

Part 2 — What They've Been Hiding About Haiti Is Finally Coming Out本站添加:
the to the international bodies to force Haiti to accept American rice.
And Haiti said, "We're not going to accept American rice." So, we here start giving our rice farmers subsidies in the US, okay? Meaning we take taxpayer dollars and we give it to rice farmers. And we give it to rice farmers cuz rice farmers can't produce rice inexpensively enough to sell around the world.
And in Haiti, Haiti said, "Look, we're not we're not going to accept your rice because you subsidize it with the American government tax dollars and therefore the price of rice is artificially low and then it's lower than our Haitian rice and that's a problem for us." And so, back when I did this research, I I did this for the first time is about 5 years ago, this is how much we subsidize our rice farmers, $430 million, meaning people that can't figure out how to make how to grow rice inexpensively and so we subsidize it by American taxpayers and then what we did in the same year that we gave our rice farmers this much money, that's how much money we gave to Haiti in foreign aid.
So, it's like we give our our own people more than we give to Haiti and we destroy their rice economy and we're continuing to destroy it.
And this is one way where this just keeps going. And why did the US win in the World Court?
