As a service business owner, you should continuously increase your prices as you gain expertise and improve efficiency, rather than keeping rates stagnant; this principle applies to any service business and is essential for long-term success and business growth.

How I Make Money Washing HousesAdded:
How's it going people of YouTube? This is Clean Car Son, welcome back to another video. Today we have just one simple job on the books. I've been really busy, so it's been kind of hard to film a little bit, but at the same time we're going to have a nice easy relaxing day. Probably not going to be too long of a video, but we'll see.
Before we start, I want to mention that a lot of people have been asking me for help on YouTube and everything. So, what I did is I created a free Facebook group, so where you guys can post everything and I can help you guys there. It's a lot easier to help on Facebook. Plus, it's just a lot more personable and that's kind of really what I'm all about. I just really want to get to know the people and you know, help them out as much as I can. I try to be I try to be as helpful as I can, but that's called New Generation Pressure Washers. It's on the Facebook group chat. I'd say in my bio and I'll put it in the the description and in the comments. So, yeah guys, check that out.
That's for that's completely free. It's not like the Pressure Wash Master Class.
That's full mentorship. This is just for community and group posting and tips and tricks here and there, of course, just like my YouTube channel. So, yeah, we got one job on the books. We're doing a house wash, gutter clean. You know, it's been a great great May so far. We're almost wrapped up with the month and I got the new shirts. So, I went ahead and got a darker color with the little bubbles and stuff and everything on the back. It's got the logo right here and I really like them. So, it's going to be nice. It's a nice break from those ugly shirts that I've been wearing [clears throat] in all my videos. Those are the first shirts that I ever gotten and they actually have they actually have the wrong phone number on it. So, these have the right phone number, these have the right QR code. They look a lot better and for so far they are pretty comfortable. Let's get rocking and rolling. Hopefully you guys are watching. Let's keep going.
It's a dang garden up here, guys.
We're going to do the the blower, but you know, I'm not really in a hurry and and kind of just chilling right now. So, we're just going to pick it up by hand.
But yeah, see you guys in a second. Got the I got this cleaned. Took like 15 minutes. Stops. Really just that side and the back side. There's a So, some pictures of what it was looking like before. There was basically a garden in there. But yeah, got the gutters cleaned. No blower today. I have it with me, but you know, this roof isn't walkable and it just kind of be hard to lug it up the ladder here and there, but yeah, we're rocking and rolling. And now we have to do full house, and that is all she wrote for today, plus we're escaping the rain.
I don't know what the the the forecast what it's been looking like. It has been rainy here, so I'm not even worried about like vegetation and property protection. It's everything's super super saturated, plus it's going to rain even more today, so we're rocking and rolling, guys. Also, always get the air out of your line before you rev up your machine. I turn on the water, put like a tennis ball or a ball valve right here just to cycle the water through your machine before you start up for like 2 minutes, 3 minutes. Just helps the machine a lot, so yeah, let's get washing.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Yeah.
>> Just got done soaping about all of that side and about half of this side. We got the front porch and the carport left to do and it's been about an hour.
Again, very efficient of doing these jobs like getting, you know, getting faster in my processes and getting better equipment and just learning. And just because I get faster doesn't mean I charge less.
That's really important to know that yeah, when I first started it took me about 3 hours to do a house wash or 4 hours, however it may be. But now that I can bang it out in about an hour, an hour and a half, especially when it's super saturated like this, then my time really gets shortened cuz I don't have to worry about it. Like I don't even have to worry about watering all this stuff. It's a big problem here in Georgia.
>> [snorts] >> But that doesn't mean that I should charge that. I probably should mean that I should charge more because one I have more expertise, I have better equipment, meaning more repairs, maintenance and all that fun stuff. So always have to make sure that you scale. You know, you can't just be charging the same thing for 5 years, 2 years straight. You have to always increase your prices every year or sometimes even every month depending on how fast you're scaling. If you're learning a lot in a month, if you're learning a lot in a couple months, especially when busier seasons hit, you got to be raising those prices just a little bit here and there. I used to charge like 200 for house washes. Now I don't charge anything pretty much less than 300, 325 even, sometimes 350 even for one story houses like this. It just really depends on how far and what the situation is. But yeah, it's very important. We don't want to get stagnant in our business. And this goes for any business really, not even service business stuff, but you never want to be stagnant. You always want to keep increasing and don't be scared to increase your prices. It's just how it go. You can't have a successful business or at least, you know, a scaling business that you, you know, like a dynasty that you want to build if you don't increase your prices. Don't be scared of that. So let's keep going. We got to We're almost done and we got to beat the rain. So yeah, I'm always trying to help you guys out. I'm always trying to drop tips here and there. So you guys get more energy. get entertainment and information from this video. I like the shirts.
Tell me what y'all think.
I think it looks good. I think it looks really good. That is a wrap on the job.
Everything had turned out phenomenal.
The soffits, they are always so fun to clean because they get so bad cuz of the sunlight. They don't ever see the sun.
So, the transformation is always huge and the customers are always always about that. That was done with the 2.3 injector. So, I was only spraying about a 0.7% and still still works magic. So, I'll probably just keep I'll probably continue using that. So, I got tons of bleach, barely used any and I get to charge a lot of money for it. So, especially with like the increase of like AI and stuff like that. It's kind of scary. So, that's kind of the one of the reasons why I wanted to start my own business and one of the one of the reasons why I love coaching people. You guys know I do the pressure wash masterclass and I'll have that free community as well, which I highly recommend that you join. I'm always trying to coach people. I'm always trying to mentor people and I'm always trying to help people out as much as I can because this is about I've been doing this for a while now and today I have a lot of information to spread to people. Especially seems like the only way nowadays people can get ahead is uh you know, starting their own business and doing their own thing. Seems to be the only way and I'm fortunate enough that people actually even call me and you know, watch my YouTube videos. So, see you guys in the car. All right. I hope you guys enjoyed the job. I always start like I said, I try to make these I try to I do a lot of long videos and those seem to do the best, but I also really like doing these short videos.
One because they're easy to film. It's hard to film long videos, especially when I got multiple jobs a day. This is the only job today, especially with all the rain. It's the I'll show you the forecast. It's it's all rain today. So, it's super easy to come out here and do a job and film it for you guys and talk, you know, I've all I've been I've been here for 2 hours and that's with filming. That's with talking to the customer, getting paid, breaking down and breaking up my equipment. So, pretty good time, you know, pretty good money for 1 day. Just for put this in perspective, I made more at this job than I did about 3 and 1/2 days at my old job that I had in 2023.
So, it just goes to show you like you know, I'm not trying to brag or anything, but it just shows to show you the power of being an entrepreneur. Now, I know there's overhead, you know, there's costs and equipment and everything, but with pressure washing, it's really not that It's really not too bad. Obviously, you got to pay for stuff, you know, gas. We all know gas is super expensive right now. So, at the end of the day, you can stack these jobs pretty easily and bang them out in 2 to 3 hours. So, I always like to take you guys with me and, you know, share some information cuz I feel like a lot of people can learn a lot from my channel.
So, I always try to make these short videos and try to drop as many tips as I can. But, yeah, go ahead and check out Mark-It, check out the Pressure Washing Master Course, and definitely check out that Facebook group, the free Facebook group. So, I'm going to be spreading a lot of knowledge there cuz it's easy for me to answer people's questions and give out tips and tricks on Facebook as well.
And plus, it's free, you know, it's super easy to check in. And let's be honest, everybody has Facebook, whether you like it or not. So, yeah, been cleaning with Carson, guys. You guys better be washing. If you guys aren't washing, you better start washing. And if you need help, let me know. I'm Carson, I'm out.
