[00:00:03]Passengers began leaving the ship on Sunday. They were escorted off the ship by people wearing full body protective gear as well as breathing masks. Health officials say two American passengers were sent to Atlanta. 16 others are in Omaha at a very high-tech quarantine facility at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. That's the same system that was used dating back to 2020 when we were experiencing COVID. During a briefing today, officials said the quarantine should be a pretty comfortable one.

[00:00:30]>> With our two facilities, our quarantine unit is designed for well individuals who need to be monitored. It is not a patient care space and it's much more like a hotel than than a patient care space. We don't have the typical things that you'd see in a hospital room. It's a much more comfortable environment actually with with some things that to help keep people comfortable like exercise equipment and it's a larger space, you know, TVs and things like that.

[00:00:56]>> The CDC says symptoms from this type of Hanta virus can appear anywhere from four to more than 40 days after exposure. Now, the one thing to keep in mind, the risk to the public is relatively low. However, the CDC is saying if you have come into contact with any of the passengers on the ship, watch for any symptoms.
