President Museveni Reassures Ugandans on Ebola Outbreak, Tells CNN to Stop Spreading Fear

[00:00:01]I was watching CNN spreading the fear through ignorance.

[00:00:11]Because I noticed there's a lot of panic created by people who don't know science very much about Ebola.

[00:00:21]The CNN was saying DRC and Uganda the correct description of the outbreak is that it is mainly in Congo but with a few people who came from Congo who came here.

[00:00:42]The one thing that should stop at the markets near the border cuz those are very indisciplined.

[00:00:51]I hear there was a big market in Tororo where the Ugandans and the Congolese were busy mixing up.

[00:01:02]That those should be suspended.

[00:01:05]Somebody who is infected can actually be treated by countering the the effects of Ebola.

[00:01:17]Ebola is much easier to control than Corona.

[00:01:28]Ebola spreads by intimate contact.

[00:01:35]And even then somebody infected by Ebola is not infective all the time.

[00:01:44]It is only when the symptoms start showing that he's he or she starts being being able to infect other people.

[00:01:54]And that is like after 5 days or 10 days.

[00:01:58]If you report Ebola early, it is treatable.

[00:02:06]Why?

[00:02:09]Because you counter the damages that Ebola causes to you. Because Ebola kills by number one, high fever.

[00:02:24]Then, vomiting and so on.

[00:02:29]Causes dehydration.

[00:02:33]So, early intervention, you rehydrate.

[00:02:38]You rehydrate the patient.

[00:02:40]You So, please educate CNN.

[00:02:47]And even some of the governments needed education. I hear some of the governments panicking, giving this and that.
