Emerging layer-1 blockchains like SUI often experience multiple network downtimes during their early development phase, similar to Solana's early years, which typically resolve over time as the network matures and technical issues are addressed.

SUI network goes down again. Is this the last straw?Added:
Hello people and we have some news on Sooie. Looks like it's trying to copy Salana in its early years and it has another network downtime. Remember this doesn't mean a chain is screwed.
Remember Salana in its early years like we had like six or seven downtimes in a very short period. They've resolved that. But it looks like Sooie is going through the same trouble. So Sooie network goes down for hours just months after the last downtime. Blockchain network Sooi is suffering another appeared significant downtime barely five months after the last network stall. So it's another major network outage. They've identified the issue and they're rolling out a fix, but it might actually take a while. Suie last suffered a network stall in January going down for about 6 hours. So basically it's only been 4 months and that's kind of like Salana's schedule like once every 2 or 3 months or four months or whatever they would actually go down. I think most of you that were around at that time do remember that. I think it was like 3 years ago. I don't remember exactly but we all remember Salana going down multiple times. Built to compete with other speedy layer 1 blockchains, the Suie network has once more suffered from the same ills that rival Salana once faced downtime. The network stall first identified and investigated on Thursday morning has led to more than five hours of major outage for the network as the Suie team works on a solution. Suie mainet is currently experiencing a network stall. The blockchain uh posted on X around 10:30 a.m. Be aware that transactions may be paused at this time. Updates will be shared as soon as they are available. An update to the Suie network status page at 3:40 p.m. Eastern notes that the fix is rolling out to validators. So the network's latest stall comes just 5 months after a similar event plagued the layers layer 1 mainet in January for more than six hours of downtime. Prior to that the network dealt with significant valid validator issue in 2024 that didn't allow transactions to process. So basically like they've began fixing on it. Uh they haven't been they haven't implemented it yet but they will actually soon. Uh Sue's fallen 5.4%.
But that could just be because the overall market's withdrawing. It's withdrawing a little bit more than the overall market. But price-wise, it's really not that much to actually worry about. Obviously, the more worrying things if it keeps on having downtimes.
But I do remember that Salana took about a year and a half before they were able to resolve these problems for its network. So just because Sooie is consistently going down twice now in the last four months does not mean you abandon all hope for Sooie. It could definitely be growing pains. And like I said, you could look at Salana. I wasn't there when uh Ethereum was going through its early phases. I don't really know if it's actually like it went down or whatever. Obviously, I wasn't around in 090 for the Bitcoin stuff. I wasn't into crypto back then. Was into other stuff back then. But yeah, I do remember Salana having some of these problems.
And you know it could actually mean that there is actually activity on sooie.
There's actually people using the platform because the reason Salana had problems was because people were actually using the platform. The other, you know, networks that don't have that many users generally don't uh didn't really go through the downtime stuff because there just wasn't any that many complex transactions that would actually um cause the uh you know that would actually cause them to actually go down.
So, you know, I like I said, nothing like truly truly to worry about, but it is something for you to keep your eye on. You know, you don't want it to go down like, you know, three or four times again. That would be really really bad.
But overall, like if they can fix it on time, you know, no one loses their money. I don't think you should actually lose uh faith in Sooie because like I said, Salana now one of the biggest cryptos out there and one of my favorites now had the same exact problems several years ago. So, that's the news for today. Let me know what you think. Like and subscribe. Hit that bell notifications button. Thank you and have a nice day.
