PSA: what animals are actually on Trump’s “IQ test”?

[00:00:00]This is a PSA for everyone. There is no squirrel on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. None. Zero. Zero squirrels, zero sharks. Donald Trump doesn't know what he's talking about. So, he continues to talk about the Montreal cognitive assessment. The so-called IQ test that that he thinks that he took.

[00:00:17]It is not an IQ test. It is a cognitive screener that is looking for a baseline level performance and then you will retest looking at potential decline. We are not looking at someone taking this who's very, very smart. Let's take a look at all of the animals that could possibly be on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, at least the ones that are in English. Now, there are three different English versions, meaning that that way we can give a test and then we can give a second one and they're not the same answers, but they could be but they're testing the same skills. So, someone who is going to be getting it every 6 months or so could absolutely be given one of these three versions.

[00:00:51]There's also two additional ones that are specifically in English. There's one for First Nations that is more specific to their culture and there's one specifically for Singaporean English um that is more specific to their culture.

[00:01:06]So, version number one, we have a lion, a rhinoceros, and a camel. Version number two, we have a donkey, a tiger, and a duck. Version number three, you have a snake, elephant, an alligator.

[00:01:17]They do accept crocodile. And in the First Nations version, they have a fish, an eagle, and a wolf. The English specific version for the for Singapore has the same animals. It is a lion, an elephant, and a camel, but the elephant does look more like an Asian elephant versus an elephant that we might see here in the United States. Now there are many other versions in different languages and different dialects of those languages so that they can make sure that they are assessing cognition and not some weird translation from English and not some something that's culturally different to one culture than another culture. They are looking at culturally specific um words and languages and instructions and things like that so that they are looking at cognition and not just this was translated from English and developed by a Canadian. Um, so it's a really kind of robust test in that form, but you always have to remember it is still for looking at cognitive decline in cases of dementia, stroke, other progressive illnesses. So the fact that Donald Trump continues to one talk about the fact that he aced it, everybody who is the president of the United States should be able to ace it, it is not a flex. Number two, the fact that he has gotten it multiple times is concerning. If you get it once and you pass it and no one is concerned that you are declining, you have no need to get it again. Number three, if they just wanted to do some type of intelligent or intelligence or cognitive test, they would have given something very, very different. Number four, what are the different MRIs and CT scans that have been given and why does he not know what they are? So now you know exactly what animals are on the mocha and what animals aren't. And you know when Donald Trump is full of which yes is anytime he opens his mouth and even when his mouth isn't open.
