This video demonstrates a systematic approach to trading the Asia session by combining fundamental analysis with price action patterns. The trader explains that during the Asia session, when fundamental news creates aggressive price moves, traders can confidently enter positions at deep premium levels (such as equal highs) because they expect minimal retraces. The key risk management principle is placing stop losses below the halfway point of displacement candles, ensuring the trade remains protected if the market continues moving toward its target. The trader emphasizes that Asia session trading offers deeper retraces compared to New York session, providing better entry opportunities for patient traders who can wait for more discounted positions.

How I Made $4,108.30 Trading Asia Session (NO DRAWDOWN)Added:
All right, Crodis.
Going to show you today cuz I I I didn't end up trading New York session obviously because I hit this in Asia session.
This just locked me in another payout with Apex and I took another trade earlier in the session that half past the TBT stack cuz I think I've mentioned this before, but I'm switching over to TBT from Topstep. Topstep used to be my main firm. I'm going to be on TBT now.
But yeah, man.
Pretty smooth Asia session. I think this one's going to be a good video for you guys cuz I'm sure a lot of you guys notice I trade Asia session a lot more than normal.
But there's there's a system to the madness. You know what I'm saying? So I'm going to show you guys how I'll be going about that, okay?
So, the trade I ended up taking during um what's it called? During uh let me mark it out.
The trade I ended up taking during Asia was here.
Or hold on, let me find it.
Honestly, we I I just know we had equal highs. I can't find the I can't find the equal highs cuz lower time frame. Let me see.
Uh I know a 15 second looks crazy. One second.
Put that dick in a color fit, but Okay, that's not it. Where are the equal highs at? Was it here?
Yeah, it was here. Okay.
This trade is going to look ridiculous.
It's going to look insane.
Um but again, there's a system to the madness and I also trade differently when I trade props, okay?
So, I'm looking to half past an eval stack. When I trade Asia, if I'm trading this isn't even Asia. Asia starts at 8:00 p.m. But when I trade this part of the daily candle, when it when the daily candle first opens, I am typically only trading when there are fundamentals that back the move. So, we had bullish news to back the move and the move was obviously really aggressive. And uh in my opinion, it was pretty obvious that we were going to aggressively move until the um data high. I think this is from earnings booked. Like that was pretty obvious.
So, uh when we opened and we get this this aggressive, and then for me what really did it was >> [snorts] >> this right here.
When we booked this 1 minute gap and then expanded again, it became very clear to me we're not going to get any heavy retraces. The fundamentals, the news that dropped is going to aggressively deliver us to the draw. So, I was willing to take really aggressive entries while not expecting any aggressive pullbacks. So, I know it's going to look crazy, but the trade that I ended up taking for my TBT stack was here. So, um we ended up leaving equal highs.
And like I said, we're in price action where I don't expect heavy retraces at all.
So, we put in equal highs and I don't expect heavy retraces because of the news that dropped is really aggressively bullish.
Um I can comfortably enter in a deep premium because of the equal highs and because of that. So, when I saw that we put in the equal highs, I limit ordered this gap. Plain and simple, just like that. Um and then stops were below the halfway point of this uh displacement that we put in.
Okay?
Plain and simple, just like that. So, uh obviously, like I just said three times, I feel comfortable aggressively longing in a premium because I don't expect heavy retraces and even even if price action wasn't super aggressively bullish, I don't expect this to heavily retrace after leaving an equal high. Like I expect this to book that within the current move. I don't expect this to leave these equal highs and then go all the way down here and then go for the equal highs. It's like we're going to stay within proximity of those equal highs in order to book it.
Um but regardless, um because whenever we're aggressive like this and we're displacing like this, when we get big heavy displacements and I feel like the draw isn't booked yet, I always want us to stay above the halfway point of that displacement. So, the current displacement on my entry there was where we at?
The current displacement on my entry was this candle. This candle is noticeably bigger than every other candle. Price action below this candle is already balanced, so I'm not expecting us to go there. And like I said, I expect us to stay above halfway points of displacements. So, I'm looking at this current range and to me, as long as my stop loss is below the halfway point, the stop loss is protected because if we're going to keep delivering aggressively and we're going to keep going towards the draw in an efficient way, we shouldn't make it below the halfway point of the displacement. So, I'm looking at this range and then I'm also looking at the this displacement here. This is the most recent heavy displacement. So, for me, as long as I can get an entry where I am below the halfway point of this displacement and this current range that we have, I feel safe with my stop loss and realistically, that's all that matters because the draw isn't booked yet.
So, if I have a stop loss that I believe is safe and won't be revisited and the draw still isn't booked and I can get a risk reward that I like, I'm in a good trade.
Um so, for me, obviously, I'm risking I'm obviously risking heavy cuz it's a eval and I'm trying to pass quick.
Um so, I entered with max size on TBT, which is six minis here. I believe this was Actually, I don't think I did six minis.
I think I did three.
It should It should have been three. All I know is I was risking a um a thousand on this.
So, risking a thousand to pass, uh you need 1,500 or to half pass, you need 1,500. So, this is where I ended up closing.
And that was it.
So, uh not really This is a very like situational trade. Uh like it doesn't look Who's calling me?
It doesn't um it doesn't look the cleanest just because I'm longing so so so such a deep premium, but there is a lot of logic behind the trade. So, that's why I half passed my half God damn, that's why I half passed my TBT stack and then the trade that I took to lock in my payout with Apex was here. So, uh we had the new day opening gap.
We pulled into it on NQ, but we completely filled it on ES. So, I view that as an SMT. I still wanted it to book, but because we were displacing so heavily off of it, uh I was looking for retraces. And something that I keep in mind during Asia, whenever I trade Asia, is even when I want us to continue a direction, what I notice happens pretty frequently is we pull deeper into the ranges than I would normally expect because like I'm a New York session trader. So, normally the moves, if you're getting continuations, there's not super heavy retraces.
Uh but in Asia, even if we are going to keep shorting or even if we're going to keep longing, typically the the the pullbacks that you get into the ranges are really deep. Um so, because we were displacing off of this and because it was an SMT, I was assuming that we were going to make it back to um make it back to this 15 minute gap. It's just obvious I think it was also an hourly gap. I don't know. Okay. So, yeah. I was expecting us to make it back to this 15 minute gap. Uh but obviously, I I I mean, you guys know me. I love new day opening gaps. So, I wasn't willing to bite on it super easy. So, like I wasn't going to take a long here because if we shorted for the new day opening gap fill, I wouldn't have been surprised. But the fact that we did start a short and that short didn't play and we created relative equal highs with the 15 minute gap, at this point, I am fully anticipating that this current range that we just put in and this imbalance right here is going to hold and deliver us to the 15 minute gap and like I said, the relative equal highs that we left here.
Um so, for me, I was willing to long anything below equilibrium of this range. So, that's where my first fill is, equilibrium.
I added again because I felt comfortable with a little bit more size and then I added again um when I I like I just felt comfortable with the fact that we were putting in a bottom. So, I added again and all this was just size that I was comfortable with. I think my peak risk on this was like 1,500 and I knew that I wasn't going to hold for a super long time.
Uh so, I was okay with risking that much. And honestly, I was okay with risking that much because this is like my third or fourth payout on this Apex account. So, it's like I've already I've already gotten my rinse out of it. I've already gotten my ROI out of it. So, I'm willing to be more aggressive and try and lock in my payouts quicker and be like just put more risk on.
Uh and I was also just like really confident in this trade, to be honest.
So, took that, anticipated the 15 minute gap.
15 minute gap books, I'm done. Payout's locked.
I just need two more green days and I'm going to take I think a $4,000 payout or 3,500, something like that.
But yeah, man. So, I didn't end up trading New York. Honestly, I've been loving trading Asia. I think there's just if you're patient, I think there's just always a really good opportunity that shows up. And what I like about it, too, it's like a sometimes like if Asia's moving clean, it's moving efficiently, it's almost like a easier version of New York. Like New York, the candles move quick, you have to make decisions quick, which is fine. Obviously, I've been trading New York for a while and made a lot of money trading New York. But when I go and trade Asia, it's like the price is still moving efficiently.
Like you can see these candles are clean, but the it it just feels like it moves slower. So, you have more time to think, you have more time to be logical.
And another thing, too, that I really like about Asia is what I just told you, is typically you do get more retraces. A lot more retraces happen and the retraces are a lot deeper. So, for example, something like this, if it were if this were New York session, I would not have anticipated that we were going to make it this deep back into this range. I would have thought maybe even this just this imbalance would have held and would have delivered the 15 minute gap or we would have barely dipped into this and then get once to the 15 minute gap. But because it's Asia, I can feel comfortable in the fact that we're going to get deeper retraces and I can feel comfortable waiting for those more discounted entries and it obviously gives me more potential for the for my upside because I'm getting entries.
So, yeah.
Uh but yeah, I'm I'm going to be I've been peeping Asia session every day for a minute now. I'm going to keep doing that. I'd I'm not intentionally skipping New York. It's just like I cook in Asia and then there's obviously no reason to trade New New Like I half passed my stack. There's a payout locked. I don't even have accounts to trade. So, it's like You know what I'm saying? There's just no reason for me to trade New York, but Uh yeah, pretty clean Asia session. Uh tomorrow, yeah, we got one more day in the week. So, it would be nice if I can get the TBT stack going.
Um but yeah, man. That's it for me. I'm going to try and get like trader caps and uh live trade videos up. I didn't get I didn't get the [clears throat] recording of this one. Otherwise, I would have done the live trade just like I did on the last one. I'm going to try better to make sure I get those, but Yeah, man. Good day. Clean day.
Oh my god, this dog is so [ __ ] annoying.
Clean day. Good day.
Uh yeah, man. I'll catch you boys later.
I'm looking to make some more YouTube videos. Yeah, I know you guys have been people I'm locked in.
So, if you have any video suggestions, leave them in the comments, too. That'd be helpful. But yeah, man. I'm out.
Deuces. Oh, also um free PDF of my full trading system broken down in the in the bio. Make sure you go get that. You know what I'm saying? Too easy. Later.
