Woman reveals how men are jealous of attractive and fit men

[00:00:00]Y'all ever noticed just nasty negative looks you may get from certain guys that just this feels like they are in disgust or disdain by you. So, y'all know what's going on. It's your boy Juice Savvy on the camera and we are back with another video and today y'all seen the title. I brought some research to reframe this video based on psychology and some research I found which I will cite below, but y'all already know we going to get right into the video.

[00:00:29]>> Here we go again. I'm going to let her talk and we going to play Today showed me that men men really do be hating on other men. It was this guy today walking around. He was white. He was buff. He was that man. You could tell he put that work in. He was very confident in himself and it was these two slim men.

[00:00:47]Nothing against them. If they're slim, that's just their body type. All right.

[00:00:50]But they were giving that buff man nasty looks. They were mugging him.

[00:00:55]Mhm. And that [clears throat] goes to show like it ain't just women who be mugging and being jealous. Men be jealous of other men, too. Men be hating on other men, too. Like it's sad. Like that man is confident. He put in that work.

[00:01:10]I just don't get the big deal of what's the point of being jealous or hating on somebody who chose to put in that work.

[00:01:16]If you want to be like that person, find out what they did. Try to look up something to be buff if you want to be buff as a man. But why are you mugging and being jealous of a grown ass man who put the work in? All right. Like hating.

[00:01:28]Like just stop hating. Like it's Just straight hating. There's no other way to call it. Um I think that the biggest thing, right? I have my research here, right?

[00:01:39]You will see this happen when it comes to males who perceive you to be higher status compared to maybe their lower status, right? So, I have to go why does this happen in the first place? Why do men other men, right, feel threatened in the first place?

[00:01:57]I have to go by the evolutionary research, some of it, right? Just one point I want to mention that I've talked about before and we're going to go to other topics.

[00:02:07]Evolutionary theory, and again, I'm going to cite all my sources down below.

[00:02:11]Evolutionary theory suggests that hostile behavior toward rivals is a response to a to a threat to a male's position in the hierarchy, right?

[00:02:20]Because lower status limits access to potential mates. Lower status males who have the most to lose are the most likely to react negatively to a threatening competitor, right? This is the one major reason as to why, right?

[00:02:35]You as a attractive and a fit man, men were designed to notice status, right? A fit body is a status symbol in today's world, right? Especially when not a lot of people are on their fitness and really locked in on their fitness.

[00:02:50]So, men, we know this. We see this. So, when you see a man like this and you really know you don't stack up, you are automatically going to be in comparison mode subconsciously.

[00:03:02]And it's like you may not even be thinking about it, and for most guys, you probably won't be. But there's going to be some guys and you're going to see the look. It's like a negative reaction to you, right?

[00:03:14]Kind of how she explained in the video, right? So, those the skinny guys were perceiving this muscular dude to be higher status than them, right? More muscle more muscles, he's more he's seen as more formidable when you when you have more muscle.

[00:03:30]There's all psychology behind this, right?

[00:03:34]So, another uh point that I want to make, research from the University of Groningen, g r o n n i n g e n, found that men feel most nervous about rivals who are attractive, rich, and physically strong, right? And that taller, more dominant men were the most relaxed around competition. So, for you guys who say height is an end-all, be-all, taller men typically do have slightly more success in dating. It's not the case with every time. If you all remember that breakdown video I did with the tall dude, Nolan, he's like 6'3.

[00:04:15]>> [snorts] >> The other dude who was like way shorter than him, who was having just had more muscle and more put together, still took his chick. So, but I think generally taller people uh have it a little more easier and they're more relaxed, right? Because women typically choose taller men. If they prefer it, right? So, um yeah, that typically there's more the taller guys are the more relaxed in these types of competition settings. So, to get more into why fit men and muscular men specifically trigger in like these these negative reactions potentially in other men, um research shows again, I have all my sources down below.

[00:04:57]Research shows muscular men are perceived as more formidable, uh which I touched on earlier, which enhances their dominance, attractiveness to women, and even their perceived leadership ability, all of which directly threaten lower-status men's position, right? So, again, lower-status males are the ones who Hate always comes from below, never above.

[00:05:19]So, it's always going to come from the guys who are not doing what you're doing.

[00:05:23]They see you have that discipline on you, and they don't like it, right? So, they may try to sabotage you, um and we're going to get into like even how this may show up in your close friends in your circles. Um people may try to sabotage you, get you off your journey, um [snorts] because what you represent most people cannot obtain.

[00:05:48]It's easy. It's simple. It's very simple to get a fit body, right? But it's not easy. It takes time and most people don't have the discipline to put that pain in for years, right? It's a lifestyle. You have to shift your identity and this is shout out to Luther Basilian for this cuz he said this in a video. He was like, you have to shift your identity to become the leanest or the the fit version of yourself, right? Because it's a really an identity shift. You You have to eat different, act different, move different, train different. You're basically an athlete, you know? So, [snorts] that comes with a lot of benefits. The women are really just a byproduct of your discipline, right? We know this. The women are just really the byproduct, you know what I'm saying?

[00:06:31]So, all of these things you're doing are going to threaten lower status males in their in their perceived position and their value, right?

[00:06:40]Um let's see. Another study basically just to kind of reinforce why fit men specifically trigger this.

[00:06:50]Um there was a study done in college men, right?

[00:06:54]They wanted to be more muscular because it would make them more attractive to women and better able to intimidate other males, meaning men. This basically means men already know a physique that a physique is a status symbol, right? Younger men, college men, these guys know and college guys, you know, they they're trying to get girls, right?

[00:07:15]For you guys that say dad bod wins, it doesn't, right? College guys, young guys, we all know women do like a nice physique. You don't have to be huge. You don't have to be crazy big, but women do like a nice physique, all right? So, uh yeah, that was a study done amongst college men, right? So, it just goes to show how much a physique is sought after, especially by men, you know? We think especially we think like getting the biggest is going to attract a woman. But, honestly, you may just be attracting attention from men saying oh how nice your physique is because you just got too buffed up, you know, you don't have to be huge. You know, it's really just that V-taper what people women respond to, right? You got to spam your shoulders because that nice V-taper is what really is attractive, you know.

[00:08:04]I don't have to really go into that. We all know that for the most part. Um So, to get more into the research I found on the jealousy and the intersexual, more of the competition angle, right? Which is where this jealousy derives from.

[00:08:21]Um So, men tend to be to more men tend to be, evolutionary speaking, men tend to be more competitive towards same-sex rivals, right? Especially when exposed to dominant high-status males, right?

[00:08:37]So, basically, how you could really sum up this whole video, if men are reacting negatively to you, it's because you register as a threat in their hierarchy, right?

[00:08:52]That's pretty much what it is, you know, if someone's reacting negatively to you, jealousy is a negative trait, you know.

[00:09:01]That is because they see you perceive you to be a threat, right? It's the only way to put it. And it's not like they're in physical danger because, you know, it's more just competition mating danger, right? You can take their you can take their mate.

[00:09:15]I'm I'm dead ass. So, uh another thing, how this could show up in your friendships, right? In circles, right?

[00:09:24]And this is why it's important to have the right people around you.

[00:09:39]Uh men are specifically envious of other men who have more sexual experience and more mates, right?

[00:09:47]And the less attractive member of the male friendship pair tends to perceive significantly more mating rivalry from his friend than the more attractive one does, right? That's the frenemy dynamic that you may see, right? So Yeah, that's how it could show up in within your peers, right?

[00:10:10]Especially if these guys around you are seeing how you can move in the field in real time right in front of their faces.

[00:10:19]Attracting a fit man shift the power dynamic with women completely. You're going to see men almost like in shock with some of the things that happen to you, especially if it happens in their face, you know?

[00:10:35]Guys who aren't getting as much play as you and they know they aren't getting as much play as you may try to downplay you, right?

[00:10:41]If they're hating, if they're jealous, that's how it's going to show up. You know what I'm saying?

[00:10:46]They're going to be a little slightly jealous. Not everybody. That's why I said it's important to pick the right people around you, you know what I'm saying?

[00:10:55]They're going to You're going to see this cuz you're going to see this.

[00:10:59]If you If your friends aren't on the same being that you're on, there's going to be a gap.

[00:11:05]The gap will look like you getting all the attention and them not really getting anything. And I think over time that grows in the the wrong people for the This is why I support I said to pick the right people. With the wrong people, that resentment grows in them cuz they get to see they get a they get a front row seat, right?

[00:11:26]A a VIP ticket to your show, right? If you are perceived to be the most attractive or more attractive friend in the group, just know your friends, your circle, is going to get a front row seat of what you can do in the dating market.

[00:11:43]Most men's realities are not going to be the the realities of attractive and or fit man.

[00:11:49]I'm telling y'all right now. So, it's important. It's very important.

[00:11:55]So, yeah, I I don't really think there's much else to really go into this.

[00:12:05]An experimental study using over 800 participants found that men consistently rated physically dominant rivals taller, broader, more V-shaped as more sexually competitive and physically threatening. Men are wired to read another man's body as a status signal.

[00:12:23]Again, just to reinforce that. It's a status signal, okay?

[00:12:28]That's what men see it as. I think that's what the world sees it as, you know? Why do you think a lot of fitness influencers exist? Status. The body is a status symbol.

[00:12:38]You know, and you don't need a crazy physique to like start to see these these these behaviors from other people.

[00:12:46]You know, for my home boys, they ask me. Like I I I know I motivate them and that's how it should be. Like one of my home boys asked me cuz he's seen my physique from a show we just did. I have a skinny physique. Like I'm very slim.

[00:12:59]Uh I weigh like 190. Like 195. I'm not very big, you know? But, I have muscle, you know? I just got to fill out my frame a bit.

[00:13:09]Um he's like, "Bro, he's like, 'How long have you been working out?'"

[00:13:14]Or he was just like, "How much do you weigh?" And I was just like I told him.

[00:13:17]He was like, "Okay. Yeah, I'm trying to get there." He was like he was like, "Y'all y'all Y'all motivating me." And he was talking about me. He's like, "You motivating me." You know, it's cuz he's not He's kind of getting back in the gym right now, so I love to see that. But, you know, for the guys who are not hating, that's how it's going to look. It's like, okay, they respect it, they see it, they acknowledge it.

[00:13:38]They acknowledge it, right? So, some people don't even want you to know what you got.

[00:13:43]That's the problem. Some people don't even want to know want you to know that you got a nice physique.

[00:13:48]They ain't they ain't going to tell you your power, right? So, it's up to you to not be arrogant or cocky about it, but just understand the discipline that you put in and don't let nobody else make you feel like you're less than or you shouldn't be proud of what you accomplish, you know, as a fit man and a attractive man, right? And a lot of that the the attractiveness comes with a lot of genetics, right? Um >> [snorts] >> so, yeah, man, just get in the gym, lock in, get in the grooming, know that this will these behaviors will come. I hope you actually got some value from these these points that I gave y'all.

[00:14:24]The main points I wanted to hammer were that it's a status signal, okay? Which is why it's so polarizing to have a fit body and be attractive and or be attractive. It's a status symbol.

[00:14:38]You're you're perceived as just more of a threat.

[00:14:41]You know, indirectly, directly, some men are going to react way differently, you know, and how you know it's jealousy or any negative energy, any negative behaviors, right?

[00:14:54]Because not every time it's going to be somebody jealous. Like, every time it's going to be because someone doesn't like you, right?

[00:15:01]Some guys may be admired, right? And that's why I just gave I gave y'all the example of my friend who was like, yeah, you motivating me, you know?

[00:15:11]Some people are going to be admired by the physique. Not everybody's going to be jealous, right? So, yeah, man, it's not all bad, but it's not all good, either. You know, it's good There's pros and cons to everything in life. Choose your hard, right? So, I hope you got some value from the video.
