Ripple XRP: May be a Long Holliday Weekend !!Added:
We got a lot going on. I think this is going to be a long holiday weekend, but I want to start out with this story here. I saw Charles on a live stream today talking about the state of Cardano, and it was quite depressing.
And you see from that league quote what Charles said, "Cardano isn't fun now."
And man, you could tell he ain't having a good time. Uh Charles says, "Democracy, it's not working." We heard this is going to be the crown jewel of crypto. And he says, "It is creating madness here. Someone's got to be in charge of Cardano's future, creating road mapaps. Uh, you know, this full democracy, it ain't working for him any longer. He claims that Cardano's governance has been captured by rebel rousers and perpetual haters threatening the entire process. Uh, you know, I root for Cardono and I root for Charles. I like him quite a bit, but this was not a confidencebuilding exercise today. Uh, let's hope these things get in order because it seems to be really draining on him. He was kind of waffling between complaining and threatening to leave and go on to other things. And this is kind of a mess at this point in time.
Hopefully it all comes together and works out. Another ecosystem that's seen a lot of internal strife surprisingly to me, Ethereum. We see from Bankless, one of the co-host says Ethereum right now is just a gas token and all momentum has been lost. Uh stating that Vitalic is the long the wrong man to lead this project. I ask you this, let me know down below. Are people just panicking or should Ethereum investors be significantly worried? You let me know what you think in the comments below.
Now, Koshi, right now, the odds that the Clarity Act passes have plummeted from 75% down to 50%. What do the betting markets know that we don't at this point in time? What caused this big crash? Was it anything at all? We will find out as we continue forward. Uh, Wall Street plumbing goes digital. We see this from bank XRP, former CFTC chair confirms DT DTCC shift from the legacy system to the tokenized frameworks. And we're hearing this from everyone. Black Rockck DTCC and then the SEC themselves, the chairman said, look, 5 years everything goes on chain. Every stock, every bond that's happening. This frames Joe Cat's iconic seems important tweet perfectly.
Ripple's Ripple Prime is embedded in the NSCC clearing rails just as tokenized trades go live in July, full roll out in October. So, you see this big migration over to the blockchain uh global markets, truly global markets, and also autonomous 24/7 365. That's what the market wants and that's what they're going to get. It's going to be a huge boost to adoption of blockchain. Chad saying the following. The mental gymnastics that people go through to think Ripple won't use XRP is truly astonishing. And I agree. Look, I would like to tell you they use only XRP because it's the best and it's the fastest and the most scalable. And that might be true for a lot of their use cases, but it goes farther than that.
Ripple's, you know, whole valuation isn't built on custody, uh, Ripple net payments or any of this stuff. It's based on the XRP they hold. And you know, if they're going to build somewhere and they're going to build value, it's going to be on XRP cuz they have the most of it. You best believe they're going to do everything they can to use that token productively and get other people on this blockchain to do the same. Ultimately, that will define their value more than anything else.
Nothing else even comes close to the value that XRP they hold on their books.
We see from cryp crypto sensei, institutional activity around XRPL keeps accelerating. This is what we want to see. Real world assets on XRPPL reportedly surged to 4.8 billion. You know, this was not that big even a year ago. Now we're number four in the world.
Number four blockchain RLUSD. It saw a $200 million mint in one single blast.
Get that. One of the biggest themes right now when we look across crypto, the big money, what they're looking to invest in is blockchain infrastructure steadily moving towards deeper payments, stable coins, tokenized assets, and capital markets. All the areas that XRP is built specifically for. That's no accident here. Sean McBride saying, "It's obvious the Clarity Act will be a catalyst that XRP needs. It turns provisional winds into locked in law."
That's important. No one can change it at that point in time. and removes a barrier to mainstream institutional adoption. And uh you know, I wouldn't look for the day that it's announced. I would look at what that clears for us going forward. Again, yes, when Ripple won the lawsuit, we saw a little bit of a pump, but then Coinbase, Robin Hood, Binance, everyone relisting the coin, you know, that took us from 30 cents, 50 cents, you know, up to a$140 in a bare bearish time, $130,$140, whatever we are right now. You know, if that wouldn't have happened, if we wouldn't have seen those relistings, uh, you know, we'd probably be at 20 cents right now. It is what these announcements lead to, not the announcements themselves, the hype of them. That is so important. Digital asset investor posting this chart. XRP unlocking value with regulatory clarity.
Current barriers, regulatory uncertainty prevents banks from holding, storing XRP. I think we're going to see more of that. I know the whole point of on demand liquidity. They don't have to touch XRP, but the most efficient way is to have the asset yourself. And if you're bullish on it, you want to have some of it. You'll use some of it for utility, but holding on your books long term, that's a good thing. A limited institutional adoption due to custody risks. Again, XRP itself is not a security, but we don't know about all the different ways you can use it. If you run a validator, are you a money transmitter? Like all this stuff, all this stuff is going to be, you know, locked in stone when we get clarity. We see postclarity act. Banks can legal legal in custody and hold XRP. Uh they can use it of course. Uh and I would say they can also participate in the network which is going to be huge. They're going to know the rules of the road and boost ETF inflows. That's going to be a big one as well. Chad going on to say Franklin XRP ETF just got activated with volume and has taken first place from Bitwise. So it's a little bit of a battle here. Bitwise has been number one. Here comes Franklin Templeton taking the lead. uh most assets under management and this is the deal. Yeah, we want Black Rockck, we want Fidelity, we want the heavy hitters, but if this would have been at any other time, if we had any ETF, even from a rinky dink, we'd be excited. We get Franklin Templeton, Bitwise, you know, quite a few big issuers here. Grayscale, like this is a totally different world we find ourselves in. And I think Grace uh um Black Rockck and Fidelity will join the party soon enough. Evernorth, they've really been putting some great posts out here. They say the tokenization market is still early. Real estate, private credit, treasury funds, most of these assets haven't started to move on chain. And I would add even when we look at equities, it's not a major part of uh, you know, stock right now.
The stock market, it will be all of it eventually. So across the board, it's early. But they went on to say here, we see Ashish talking to XRP Las Vegas.
Hope a lot of you had a great time out there. Hopefully I can make one of these events someday soon. Well, we see XRP's payment story is the one that everyone talks about and it's big. Listen, it's multi-trillion dollar problem. Ripple solving it using XRP, using the XRP ledger, but it's the one we at Evernorth talk about the least. It's probably the least exciting. Again, it's a big one.
Uh, you know, we're trying to tell banks, look, you need to adopt this and cut fees, but those fees are money the banks themselves are keeping. So, it's a little bit of a struggle bus there.
We'll get there. They'll have to adopt it. But tokenization that is what everyone is demanding now. That's a big difference. They're you don't have to tell them you should use this. It's better for consumers. It cuts cuts costs. No, they're like come on, we want to adopt this now. Clarity is going to help them do that. And that's probably the more exciting use case for cryptocurrency technology. We're looking at everything. We were looking for a little bit of calm, a little bit of runway. We're hearing there's a deal between the US and Iran to end this war.
Yay for that. And then this breaks uh that there was some sort of plot, assassination plot on Ivanka Trump. Is this going to ratchet things up farther?
Is this something they just found out or are they just pulling this out now to tell us because they're getting ready for some strikes, some continuing uh of this conflict? Mario saying uh President Trump rushed back to Washington after cancelling his weekend plans.
Intelligence officials also have canceled their Memorial Day uh weekend here. every the world is on standby. Uh you know, we'll have to see this play out. Hopefully, again, they can come to an agreement between both sides and end this conflict, but right now it's a scary time. And then lastly, we see the following uh US ships circling uh Cuba.
We've been hearing that's going to be in play. Is that going to pop off over this holiday weekend? Well, I don't know.
These are big geopolitical events that of course can affect our imaginary coins. We got to keep our eye on it. I'm not going to try to guess for you how it all plays out. I'm no geopolitical expert. We'll have to see it, but just know it's happening. And of course, it will affect financial markets and really everything else, right? So, it's important to know. Also, uh lastly, we're seeing SpaceX go live IPO. Then we're going to get uh Open AI and then maybe the biggest of all of them, Anthropic, at least in terms of opportunity going forward. I I like what SpaceX is doing, too. But what I'm getting at, uh we just had a chip company go live. There's a lot of action with IPOs uh going live here within the AI area.
That's going to suck up a lot of capital. Is that going to affect crypto uh valuations when people would be investing in this asset class, but they got this shiny new toy over here? Maybe their flows go that way. That's just also something to be aware of. A lot going on out there. Let me know what you think down below, though. As always, please like, please subscribe. The revolution will be televised right here on Jungle Link.
