Self-defense claims require proportionality of force to the threat faced; simply being told to leave a space and being pushed does not justify lethal force, especially when the individual brought a weapon to the situation.

🚨Karmelo Anthony's NIGHTMARE Just DROPPED Completely DESTROYING His Case...Hinzugefügt:
Hello everybody. I'm Heather Hayes >> and I'm Steve Eager. Within the last hour, a jury has been chosen to decide the closely watched murder trial of Carmelo Anthony.
>> More than 500 people were on the list of potential jurors, but the jury will not include anyone who is black despite this case being racially charged. Fox 4's Alex Boyet joining us now. Alex.
>> Hey guys, good evening. That's right.
You know, and I can tell you that a court spokesperson confirmed that there are indeed no black jurors on this panel. Now, I can tell you that before this jury panel was seated, the defense objected to three black women being struck by the prosecution. Now, the prosecution contended that it was due to the fact that the women were educators, noting that this incident happened at a school function with young students. The defense then pointed out that those were three 100 that three of those rather were 100% of the available black jurors in what's called the strike zone, adding that the state struck all three. The judge went out and reviewed their questionnaires and came back and said that the defense's challenge to the three jurors being dismissed was denied.
The judge said the court found that the state had nonracial means to strike the jurors. Now, background. Carmemelllo Anthony, 17 at the time, is accused of fatally stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcap last year at a Frisco ISD tracking. Anthony was reportedly sitting under a tent for a school that he did not attend. Witnesses say the two got into an argument and Anthony stabbed me in the chest. Meap died in his twin brother's arms. Police said that Anthony told them he acted in self-defense. Now, this case has become racially charged, fueled in large part by online speculation, rumors, and misinformation.
On Wednesday, attorneys for both sides got an hour and 45 minutes to question the reduced poll of these potential jurors. They were questioned on their views on a variety of topics, including race, how they felt about serving on this case, and if they would hold it against the defendant if he chose not to testify on his own behalf. The defense also tried to gauge if the potential George would be uncomfortable giving Anthony a lower sentence if there is a guilty verdict. I talked to a jury consultants about the process so far.
>> And let's go right now to someone who was inside of that courtroom listening to these opening statements. No cameras, but we have our eyes and ears inside of the courtroom. Cody Thomas joins us now live outside of the courthouse in McKenna, Texas. Cody, good to see you.
Tell me about those opening statements.
First of all, what was it like being inside of the courthouse for those?
>> Well, yeah, Julia, as we know, we know this judge is really laying down the law inside that courtroom, being very strict on how people go to and from the courtroom and about, you know, us as media using electronics. He even admonished uh members of the gallery for whispering to each other, saying if he caught somebody whispering again, I didn't see anybody whispering, but you know, he just said if he saw that again, they'd keep them out. Uh he kicked them out permanently. But Julia, to touch on those opening statements, of course, the prosecution is continuing uh the narrative that we've heard from the beginning since April of 2025 that Carmemelllo Anthony was under that tent uh for no good reason. He was just there and then Austin Metaf and his friends came up to approach him to say, "Get out from under the tent." To which Carmelo Anthony, the prosecution says, got aggressive, reached in that bag, pulled out a knife and stabbed Austin Metaf.
But the defense in their opening statements painted a different picture.
They began uh by humanizing Carmelo Anthony, talking about how he had two jobs in high school, how he was, you know, a brother, a son, an oldest brother, how he was a 3.7 GPA, a student in school, just really painting him out to be a uh a good human being before diving into their version of the facts of the case. Now, of course, we've heard that uh statement from eyewitnesses or a witness on the stand or on not on the stand in the in the area saying that Carmelo reached into the bag saying, "Touch me if you want to or see what happens if you touch me." And that's what led when Austin pushed him, he stabbed him in the chest. But the defense attorney says it was more of a as long as you don't touch me, we'll be cool, implying that, you know, everything's fine. I understand there's a verbal altercation going on here, but just don't put your hands on me. So, that was the narrative the defense painted there. They also said that Carmemelllo was under the tent because he was seeing somebody he was familiar with, a friend of his still girlfriend now, somebody he'd been acquainted with, somebody he recognized. And then they walked through some of that uh video, Julia, showing that Carmemelllo Anthony was under the tent for about 2 minutes before uh Metcaf, his twin brother, and their friends got to the tent. And the whole ordeal went down in about 4 and 1/2 minutes of both of them, both parties being under that tent. Julia, but again, emotional out here. I'm looking around it here. There's a lot more demonstrators than there were yesterday during jury selection. So, you know, the each side is here. It's polarizing case of course that has caught many headlines across this country, but those opening statements were definitely powerful on either side.
>> Notes, Cody, we're so fortunate that you've been able to share with us what is happening inside of that courtroom.
Tell us more about the surveillance video because your notes on this were very interesting. What were you able to see? And then I also understand there was a reaction from the victim's family when that was being played.
Yeah, Julia. So, that's in the in the opening statement, they were referencing uh surveillance video, and you know, of course, everyone wanted to see video. We we haven't seen anything. There's been a gag order on this case since uh the very beginning last year. So, they start playing this video. There were five different angles of the video uh getting walked through from testimony by the forensic video analyst. And they were very wide angle videos, Julia. And the witness had to talk about how we had to use this software to zoom in and try to make the video as clear as possible. And even then, Julie, I won't lie, it still looked very uh fuzzy and hazy. It definitely sets the scene. You can see what's going on, but even the prosecution distinctly said that you won't be able to uniquely identify anyone, but they referred to uh Carmelo on the video as the person of interest, and they referred to Austin Metap as the victim. Uh, of course, as the forensic analyst has digested this video and dissected it and pointed out everything that we need to know, uh, going through shoes and the type of clothing they were wearing. So, we identified who each person was in the video, even though they kind of just looked like humanoid blobs. But you see, uh, one thing that stood out to me, Julie, is that, you know, I'm very familiar with track meets. I was under the impression that, you know, when you go to a championship track meet, you have multiple tents on the same side of the bleachers. But in this video, because it's early in the morning, just before 10:00 a.m. when all this happened, the high school where the tent where the high school where all this went down, Memorial High School, it was just an isolated tent in the bleachers by itself. There were no surrounding uh you know, schools or anything in the general area. You saw some schools walking in, but I guess you know the meet was just starting. But anyway, they identified Carmelo walking up the bleachers, kind of walking towards the tent. He kind of goes towards someone and you see him standing there for a couple of minutes. Then you see Austin Metaf, his twin brother, and his friends walking up and getting under the tent. And then once everything is happening under the tent, it just kind of looks like a blob of people. You can't really make out anything that's really going on for 5 to 6 minutes. And then you see a quick uh to and from, you know, and they were implying that that was like the push, the initial contact.
You can't really see anything happening before. Then you see people walking by.
They're not really, you know, turning heads as if something's loud and, you know, something's catching their attention. But all of a sudden, you see that to and from. And then you see Carmemelllo or who they identify as person of interest who we assuming to be Carmemelllo Anthony. He runs off from under the tent and then he's running down the bleachers, sprinting a ways away from the tent and out of the stadium uh onto the track and everything towards one of his coaches. And eventually after that, we see another angle of the video where Carmemelllo's been taken into custody by police. But the reaction, Julia, it wasn't a visceral reaction. You know, when you saw the two and from, of course, that's the the the stabbing action, uh if you will. All I saw him sitting two rows behind Austin Medaf's father and his head was just kind of in his hands kind of like this. Wasn't necessarily crying but you know just implying that he doesn't really >> People are saying that which I'm pretty sure we already knew. Carmelo ran hid the knife and then he went to go talk to authority like a coach or something like that. Still brother it's just man I just can't believe this [ __ ] happened at a [ __ ] school event at a track meet.
The fact that he had a knife, >> add a track.
>> Okay. The fact you have a knife at a school stationed event, strike one. The fact that you're in another team's area where their belongings are. Everyone that runs track knows this is a simple thing. You don't go in other team areas.
That's where their belongings are.
That's where they put their stuff, their phones, their val their wallets, keys, all type of valuables. You don't go over there.
>> And >> and and when you ask to leave, you just leave. Just understood.
>> For sure. Understood. And if you were talking to anybody, a young lady, don't matter who it is, you can tell them to walk, you know, and and that's why it's just impossible for that to be an outcome because if someone sees you talking to to a person, they're not going to just tell you, "Bro, leave out of our tent."
>> Yeah. Yeah. I mean, >> it doesn't happen at a track meet, GUYS.
WE ALL RAN COLLEGE TRACK. WE KNOW. WE'VE BEEN RUNNING TRACK FOR YEARS, GUYS, since we were kids.
I'm sorry. WE KNOW HOW THIS WORKS. IT DOES NOT happen like that.
>> It doesn't. and and Okay, so that's strike two. You're in their area with their personal stuff. If they tell you to leave, just go away, bro. Strike three. When they come and tell you, they surround you, get out of our team area and you refuse and escalate this situation. Strike three. If they if they push you and tell you to leave, you obviously being a nuisance or you're obvious like to me to me. Now, if I was on the jury, this would be my thoughts.
Like you're you're you're like you're escalating the situation. If they tell you to get out of their team area and you don't want to leave and they push you, okay, bro, like like look, they wrong for putting their hands on you.
I'm not gonna justify that. But the fact they getting you out of their personal team area, I think they're in the right in that. So for you to pull out a knife and stab him, >> it's pretty crazy.
>> That's an extreme escalation. That doesn't constitute >> that's murder.
>> It's murder. It's murder. It's really simple. Like people are trying to say, "Oh, he was being bullied. Oh, they surrounded him. Oh, woop woop woop.
Cool." Like they're trying to paint all these unnecessary pictures. Like I say, this is what I'm sorry. This is what black people do to defend other black people all the time. They don't look at what actually [ __ ] happened. A person had a a knife at a track me and stab someone for pushing him. That is what happened. Let's not go all over. Oh, it was self-defense and what we going to do if two big white boys came up to you and you was just sitting down? SHUT THE HELL UP. BUT OKAY, LET'S just I'm just going to put it like this. I'm just going to put it like this. I'm going to put it like this. I'm going to put it like this. The fact that people are trying to justify the stabbing is just it's lost on me. Like you don't you have a knife at a track meet at a school track meet.
>> Let's start there.
>> You you shouldn't have had a weapon.
>> Let's start there.
>> Two. If you're being bullied, you can go tell >> there police officer there.
>> There's police. There's all type of stuff. Like brother >> versus none knife.
>> Like like like if they're bullying you like I've been to plenty track meets where we've been jawing at other teams.
Plenty plenty plenty plenty plenty.
That's that's track. [ __ ] talk is a part of sports, especially as high school boys. The fact that you say you were bullied and they're trying to get you out of their team area and you you couldn't you could have fought, you could have walked away like a lot a lot of things could have happened and preserved yourself.
>> We don't know. We don't know what what regardless no matter what happened if you know they said it was 10:00 in the morning, they were debating on hey bro we were sitting here first or bro uh my my team want to put their tent right there. how y'all came put you know you know at a track meet some people they said it was the morning the the kids or you know the athletes they set up the tent athlete set up the tent maybe it could have been that who knows however you want to play >> dude said they was the only tent that was set up and put right there and he walked up to the tent and went under it and spoke to somebody I'll play devil's advocate I'll play devil's advocate here Carmelo Anthony good kid good family good record cool >> but he just tweeted out >> you made a mistake you made a mistake and based on the information presented in the mistake you made, you're in the wrong. That's my pick. You murdered someone at a school event. There's no >> self-defense is insane.
>> There's no justification for that. Now, if they would have been beating on you and you were getting jumped and you were being surrounded and assaulted, that's one thing. But two two people, two brothers telling you to get up out of their tent, get up, get out of their tent, remove yourself from our team.
>> Pushed you. Still not justified, brother. You don't have to be getting your ass whooped. They hitting you with spike shoes or something. They going to come hit you with a shot but put ball or something like that. Something drastic would have to happen for you to get off this and take self-defense, brother. But a push stab, you're forever done. You're an idiot. And the people that is justifying this are [ __ ] idiots. But let's see the people that are out there protesting because like I said, you know, man, hey man, they going to kick us out this country one day, bro.
>> All right, don't say all that.
>> They going to kick from what you going to see, brother. We might get kicked out this country. Let's run these >> people. These people at out here protesting.
>> Seen everything. You I haven't. But I'll say this. These people outside the pro the courthouse are agitators. They're not helping the situation. They're not helping Carmelo's case. They're not painting a good picture. It's not good to me personally. Like I look at all the facts here. I'm like, when have we ever painted a good picture, brother?
>> All right. Unless it's LeBron James >> God arise and his enemies be scattered.
Let God arise and his enemies be scattered. Amen. And amen. And amen.
>> CARMELO WAS NOT AN AGGRESSOR. HE WAS MINDING HIS DAMN BUSINESS WHEN THEM BOYS CAME UP TO HIM.
WE CLAP. WE will free.
We declare WE WILL FREE. WE DECREE.
WE WANT FREE. We decree. COME. WE WANT FREE. THEY DESERVE PROTECTION TOO. WE LOVE OUR BLACK YOUTH. THEY deserve protection, too. We love our black youth. They deserve protection, too. We love our black youth. They deserve protection, too.
>> Talking about THE [ __ ] LIE AND YOU [ __ ] I don't GIVE A [ __ ] WHATEVER YOU TALKING ABOUT, THE [ __ ] LIE AND YOU KNOW IT.
>> [ __ ] YOU. [ __ ] YOU.
>> Chimping out, man. Low impulse control.
This is the reason why AUSTIN IS DEAD BECAUSE THIS is a response that is told.
This is a response they teach their young people to have. This is that the mothers, the black mothers in this community, >> this community does not teach its people to respect personal boundaries. It does not teach people to talk with respect.
AND THAT'S WHY AUSTIN MAKE THAT STEP BECAUSE OF your failure as black parents. Failures as black parents failures failures as black parents teaching the youth to kill you.
Mutual com.
>> So he know what mutual comeback is. He know he done. That's why I say, bro, come on. Let's be >> I don't understand what what exactly this is supposed to to help.
>> Guys, this actually it's sad. I just I just got one question. I just got one question. Where's this at in Dallas? Are they in the heart of Dallas where these little kids are slaughtering each other right now?
kids slaughtering each other right now and they out there at the doing this protecting BLACK YOUTH.
IT'S it's drill scene music RIGHT NOW IN DALLAS. THAT IS OUT of hand.
>> I would like to say this. I would like to say this. That woman that woman with the dreadlock, she said Carmelo Anthony was not an aggressor. Okay, sure. Maybe he was an aggressor, but he was a murderer in this case.
>> You killed someone. We don't know what the hell we That's what I say though, bro. We should have, could have, would have, could have, make believe. I don't give a [ __ ] >> It was a knife at a track.
>> Killed, dead. I don't want to put it in no way, shape, or form or nothing. I WANT TO SAY, "OH, YEAH. HEY, NOW." NO, somebody died at a school event and you did it, brother. That's what it is. I don't give a damn, brother. You was in their space. No matter what was said. I ain't going to lie. I don't even got to say whose space. They don't They could have came to your space. They said he was minding his business when they walked up on them.
>> I don't like that.
>> They were in their team area.
>> I don't want to hear what nobody else said.
>> You brought a knife to a truck.
>> YEAH, >> THAT'S IT.
>> THIS IS NOT A CRIME.
>> SELF-DEFENSE IS NOT A CRIME.
>> SELF-DEFENSE IS NOT A CRIME.
>> SELF-DEFENSE IS NOT A CRIME.
>> SELF-DEFENSE IS NOT A CRIME.
>> SELF-DEFENSE IS NOT A CRIME.
>> SELF-DEFENSE IS NOT A CRIME.
>> WE declare he is free. I'm just saying if it's self-defense, he would have had a knife as well, bro. That's why people People don't >> I just I just I just This is not a white verse black thing.
>> We declare that's >> But it's being made that.
>> Exactly.
>> A young man made a mistake and someone is dead because of that mistake. That if we're going to soften it, that's the that's as soft as it gets. You made a mistake and someone is dead and now you're on trial for the mistake you made. To sit out here and paint yourself as a victim. Look though, >> he's not doing that. It's the adults around him that's doing that.
>> They can't point that out in their own community amongst the murder amongst each other. So why would we think that they can point it out when another race kills?
>> They are we not a part of that community, brother?
>> No, I am not a part of no community besides the community I create. I am not a part of these dumbass [ __ ] If you know what, y'all, if we get [ __ ] back on the boat, I'm I'm ready, bro, at this point for this [ __ ] right here. I'm ready to get [ __ ] back on that boat. And I'mma be on top of the boat. I'mma say, "Man, y'all [ __ ] retarded." And and that's just what it is, bro. We should have got our ass shipped back cuz this is crazy [ __ ] bro.
>> It's crazy to say they defending youth and there's so many youth getting slaughtered. When I think that's what I think about Dallas right now.
>> [ __ ] back. That's But they but they saying that like the youth needs protection, but there was there's police officers and all sorts of protection at a school event.
>> I'm going to push you if I get close enough.
>> Push you right into that crash. See >> that?
That that what was that? Yeah. They was out there just protest if I get close enough pushing right into that.
>> You heard what I said cracker.
>> The dog. I don't give a [ __ ] what you say.
>> [ __ ] you.
[ __ ] you.
>> We got to get out of the road.
>> Let's get out of the road, please.
>> Get out of the road, please.
>> You still a cracker. You still a cracker. You a cracker, [ __ ] You a cracker.
>> You a cracker.
>> I told y'all, bro.
>> What is this? What is this?
>> Stop. Stop. Stop.
>> We going to be on the way back on the boat.
>> Stop.
No. Listen. Hey y'all. We had court systems. We had yellow school buses. We had school boards. We had C Texas calculators. We had all kind of [ __ ] We had universities. We had freeways, Toyotaas, cars, the first amendment, the second amendment. We had the elect, we can elect a president. We can do all kind of [ __ ] out here, brother. This [ __ ] got me want to share to tell you [ __ ] that's stupid, y'all. And I'm done with them, bro. If I I say I'm done with them all the time, but officially today, I'm done cuz a lot of people is defending this [ __ ] y'all.
>> All right. This the simple the simple fact of the matter to me is he killed someone >> cuz this case is is getting built up like OJ.
>> I just got I just I don't understand why people are outside making a situation worse when someone that you're trying to defend as an innocent killed someone.
How are you innocent and you kill someone? Did they did they break into your home?
>> This self-defense apparently. This apparently is self-defense. Apparently, this is stand your ground when the dude just came and said, "Let's do mutual let's do mutual combat."
>> Okay. So, so let's break that down. You get into a fight at school and you stab someone. Are you are you in the right?
>> You know, actually >> at school and some cases it had some people have got off of that.
>> But they went they stayed for manslaughter though.
>> Yeah. So, who knows?
>> You get charged with manslaughter still.
>> All right. I'mma end this guys cuz we can go on and on about this [ __ ] bro.
>> No, no, no, no, bro. I mean, look y'all.
This is the type of [ __ ] that we need to be protesting about. The black-on-black violence.
>> These people, these same people would be out there saying black-on-black crime is a myth. But we know that in black areas, >> they're in doubt.
>> Crime and violence is high, >> Brandon.
>> They're going to say, "Oh, it's because of poverty, because of opportunity.
Cool. Whatever. How are you supposed to get opportunity and fix the poverty when your area is crime riddled?" Hey, it's just to me it's like it's like how can I just say he's in the right?
>> There's little kids in Dallas right now that have switches and Glocks right now that are spraying each other and rapping about it and destroying each other grave sites and their family grave sites right now. We don't see a single person protesting about that.
>> I just seen actually a new video that surfaced of somebody going on somebody grave site and all. But this right here guys is what people need to be actually protesting about. This is the type of [ __ ] that goes on. No, no, no, no, no.
Mind y'all, guys. Mind y'all, let me just show y'all this. Mind y'all, a 13year-old was hit. So, we got >> No, I don't think they got killed, but it was five or six people that jumped out of one car. And look what they did right here. This is the type of [ __ ] we need to be out there protesting about.
>> The shooting happened at 4:00 a.m. this morning in Baton Rouge. A black Sudan pulls up on Daytona Street at 4:00 this morning. Six individuals exit the car >> and they walk up to the house. They have masks on their face and they have guns in their hands. They open fire and then they proceed to run back to their car, get in and speed off. We do know that one person was injured in this shooting.
We do not know the age of that person, but WBRSC will be providing you updates as we get them.
>> So, we not protesting about [ __ ] like that. Man, it was a 13-year-old that was shot. Like I said, guys, this stuff's not This stuff is insane.
>> I just don't understand why people are outside the courthouse making the situation much worse.
>> It's my race, bro. That's what that's what it look like it's coming down to every day now.
>> Look at what my boy Benny Johnson pulled up, man.
>> Firearm homicide homicide rate per 100,000.
>> This is against other countries.
>> It's over double. It's over double.
>> This is against other women. This might be Look at us white people. 1.7 though.
This might be countries that don't have guns though. sometime some of >> Australia made the Glock Austria.
>> Oh [ __ ] >> Oh yeah, Austria.
>> But either way, man, I don't even know why. See, but I mean, look, guys, we have real things we need to discuss. The guy killed someone. Talk it up. Let's talk about real. Okay. Okay. Why do they keep acting like he's a victim here?
>> Because, bro, >> he's some sort of hero. I guess I guess because when he did it the the trolls of everybody, you know, getting on his ass, I guess they said it was racial and other black people got offended and that's what happened.
>> Hey y'all, let's Who with it, bro? Let's go on ahead load up the boats, bro.
>> Not that time, bro.
>> Forget all that, oh, this is why we did did because.
>> No, I know. I'm just saying.
>> I know. I'm just saying, though. We need to load up the boats cuz the privileges that people have in America and we not talking about real issues and we still crying about white supremacy but will we hurting our own people. We have to stop this guys. So you know what I want to do? I don't want to do no more talking out here and I see a bunch of [ __ ] walking up on on the plank dock, whatever it's called.
>> And we get on and we get on this ship and I'mma say, "Yeah, y'all. We on the way back >> cuz this [ __ ] got to stop y'all.
>> We go back to Africa. They going to kick us out too.
>> I don't want to go to Africa.
>> Well, I mean we we act like we in Africa. The homicide rate just is bad, BROTHER. THEY PUT US OVER THERE. We going we going to adapt pretty well.
>> We going to adapt pretty well.
>> I don't think I would.
>> Maybe you wouldn't, brother. I wouldn't be too happy.
>> You you happy in me society. You know, we get to wake up, go to the gym, just, you know, we get to live a great life, and we just we do [ __ ] like what Carmelo did. We do [ __ ] like Carmelo did. Now, look, I don't know what type of kid Carmelo was.
I don't >> We know that he had no prior issues. He had good grades. He was a good kid.
These are not good photographs. Now, they're trying to compare, go to the other photograph. They're trying to compare that photograph to this photograph. Obviously, they're out hunting. These are hunting rifles. He's in home >> with a shy mask on top >> with a mask on his head holding a gun. I don't know if that's a real gun.
>> He had a knife at a tra. I'm keep none of us have ever carried a knife to now.
Now >> I I feel like I feel like when we try to do this when we play this game and we show children holding guns and we try to compare the two of them as if they're the same is forcing a narrative. This is a forced narrative. Oh, well, how come they can have guns in the country with guns and camo look like they're about to go hunt or whatever they doing versus a kid holding up a gun in a home improperly?
>> It's moving the needle, bro.
>> It's just it's just it's just it's just to me it's not a it's not a valid comparison. Do I believe that everyone should have the right to 2A? Yes.
>> Two pictures of people having two guns, but then when the event that occurred, someone had a weapon and someone stabbed someone and someone used a push force.
I'm going to be I'm going to play devil's advocate here. We have two kids who are never been in trouble.
>> They get into an altercation. One of the kids kills the other kid. The kid who killed him is wrong. I don't give a [ __ ] That's just one times out of 10.
>> It's a murder, bro.
>> It's a murder. Well, guys, let us know what y'all thinking. You know, hey, I don't know what's going to happen, guys.
>> Why don't they just hit him with manslaughter and then just get make him do five?
>> But that's not manslaughter, though.
>> Five, 10, let him out.
>> I mean, you attempt like manslaughter is an accident. you attempted to stab him.
So, it's kind of like I don't know, man.
>> Why didn't the defense argue and said where he stabbed him was in the intent to kill him, but it was intent to just find out, man.
>> It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
You had a knife at a school event. You had a knife at a school event and you used it on someone else and they're dead.
>> No, I know. I agree with that. I'm just saying what happened if I'm talking about the guy if they charge him.
Somebody got off like that.
>> 30 plus for sure. But I don't know what's going to happen. To me, to me personally, based on what my life experience, based on my life experience, been to hundreds of track meets, I understand how it works. It's it's it's courtesy to not go in someone else's team area because their valuables are there. They come up to you and say, "Hey, you need to leave. Go back to your team area." It's literally like a simple disciplinary thing. You just leave and go to your team area. You don't make a fuss about it. And if you do, you're in the wrong.
>> Yeah. And I wish I wish I knew what happened between all this, but it doesn't matter. Doesn't matter. I wish I knew what happened. If it was a girl talking and I I wish it was, you know, I knew if they was talking to a friend and, you know, I wish I knew all that.
>> Look, I'm g keep it on. If this was two, if this was two white boys, I would say that the one who stabbed them is in the wrong. Especially knowing that this was a school track meeting.
