Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) was developed to overcome the limitations of modular and procedural programming, offering powerful methods for software creation. The six core OOP concepts are: Class (a user-defined data type serving as a blueprint for objects), Object (run-time entities representing real-world items like persons or bank accounts), Inheritance (a key feature allowing classes to inherit properties from other classes), Polymorphism (the ability to have many forms), Data Encapsulation (bundling data and methods together), and Data Abstraction (hiding implementation details). Additionally, understanding the differences between C and C++ is essential, as these are the two compulsory questions in Unit 5, carrying 10 marks weightage in the OSMANIA University examination.

C&C++ | UNIT-5 FULL EXPLANATION | 10 MARKS SEMESTER-2 | OSMANIA UNIVERSITY | 2026 | @shivanipallelaAdded:
Welcome back to our channel. So students in this video we will discuss unit number five explanation videos. The notes which I'm showing in this videos was prepared by me. So hope this video will be useful and this is the scoring unit because in this unit I have given only two questions. That is oops concept that is object-oriented programming. And the second one is differences between C and C++. This two questions I have given so first important question I'm discussing that is oops concept that is object-oriented programming. What is this object-oriented programming? It was developed to overcome the drawbacks of modular and procedural programming.
Means drawbacks is nothing but limitations. It was developed this concept was introduced in order to prevent the drawbacks of the modular and programming. What it will do? It will do the worldwide most powerful ways for creating software. For creating software this oops concept will perform wonderful as well as the in face of the drawback income into the software system. Okay? In oops concept you will have total five six different types. The first one is class, second one is object, third one is inheritance, fourth one is polymorphism, fifth one is data and capital encapsulation, sixth one is data abstraction. So this six types you need to introduction. Same this as it is you will by heart if you are by hearting means you can by heart.
As it is as it is you need to present like this in your booklet last is answer. Got it?
So next we will discuss each and every point.
Class class is nothing but it is a user-defined data type. It will not have any specific structure to perform. It will only have user-defined. Whatever the thing we are uploading in we are giving a input to the program that it will adapt it and it will holds its own number, own data number which can be accessed by creating instant of the class. So, it is like a blueprint of the object, okay? It will create the variable by its own. Next one, object. Objects are the basic run-time entities in an object-oriented system. They may represent a person, a place, or a bank account. The object will represent a person or a student or employee or a thing. It will specifically mention. That is called object. Next, inheritance. What is this inheritance? It is a another form of characteristic property of the programming language. So, inheritance is one of the most important feature of oops concept, that is object-oriented programming language. So, this is the two two lines you need to write it like that. And last one is polymorphism. The word polymorphism means having many forms. Okay? So, like this you need to present your answers so that your answers will get elaborated, okay? In fifth unit you are not at all having any programs, ma. One to four units only you are having programs, okay? So, that [snorts] you need to remember and try to draw this flowcharts and try to elaborate the answers like this. Next question is differences between C and C++. So, this I have made a notes. You need to by heart the answer whatever you are having, that you need to by heart it, okay? So, differences answer not only this subject any subject if you are learning differences answer means you need to learn like that only whichever you are having in your notes, okay? So, we can't write uh own answers for the differences question.
So that's why I have made these notes to you all. So I have made the C language notes. I have already shared in Telegram group. Once you check out that, it will be helpful to you all, okay? So hardly eight differences I have given. You just check out this in our Telegram group, okay students? So these two questions is enough, compulsory one long and one short, total 10 marks weightage. You can easily score from this fifth unit, okay?
All the very best for your examination as well as the preparation. If you like this video, then do like, share, and subscribe to our channel. And we are near to 50K. Let us finish 50K by June, okay? See you all in next video.
Bye-bye, students.
