Can a Doctor or Nurse Say “I Love You” to a Patient?

[00:00:00]Is it unprofessional for a healthcare worker like a doctor, a nurse to say I love you? Cuz I tell my doctors and my my my nurses and and people who take care of me, everybody in between, that I love them. And then I told that to somebody and they said, "That is very unprofessional of that doctor or that nurse. They shouldn't be saying that."

[00:00:20]And I'd like to hear from some professionals who are who are in the field. But man, in these times when customer service is so bad and your doctor says I love you, too, because I tell them I love them. Because I do, they're saving my life. I have cancer and and they're so nice and kind and good to me. Isn't that what love is? The nurses who take care of me, who every week they help me with my chemo, they convince me to stay on it and then I tell them I love them. And they say, "I love you, too, Mark." Not all of them, but some of them. Isn't that what life's about? Isn't that love that they're taking care of me and helping me? And they're just or even if it's just a response. Uh what do you think? Is it wrong for somebody to say I love you, too, like a doctor, a healthcare professional? What about a psychiatrist, something like that? Uh but I'd like to hear your take on it.
