Soybean Crush Margins Surge to $5

[00:00:00]You know, they're making good margins, you know, good margins there in ethanol.

[00:00:03]You talk about the crush, soybean crush.

[00:00:05]I think it was just yesterday there was an article out that How was it? Central Illinois? They were right at $5 a bushel is what they were making, you know, on the on the crush.

[00:00:16]So, it's just phenomenal numbers. I mean, I think we were talking a couple >> [music] >> maybe 6 weeks ago, 8 weeks ago that we were in the $3 range on the crush margins, you know, and those being just great margins. [music] So, now we're talking 4 and 1/2 to $5. I mean, just phenomenal domestic demand is what is is what that's [music] doing. You know, we're going to crush a lot of soybeans domestically, which we need to. You know, we we we're kind of looking at [music] that export line, Nick, that is not impressive. It it just is not. Even though China stepped in and and bought the 12 million metric tons or close to it that they said they were going to last November of old [music] crop, we've seen a big old goose egg so far of confirmed, you know, new crop sales to China on the soybean side of things.
