[00:12:57]Uh we continue to see uh not necessarily a very strong couplet here. There's not intense rotation along it. You've got 20 25 miles per hour in either direction that we're sampling on the radar. Uh let's see. The radar beam itself is running into this storm at about 3,500 feet. So, we are fairly close to the ground uh where we're picking up on that rotation. So, weak rotation, but uh there is some spin here and this storm certainly capable of producing a tornado south of Marcusan at this point. Uh anytime you're looking at the radar imagery, you do have to keep in mind that there is some delay in terms of the processing and when we get the data. Uh and the storm is moving that entire time. So, where you see it on the radar, the storm is going to be a little farther south and east of that. Uh so it is going to be if there is a tornado here to the southeast of of Manchester likely it would be just out ahead of those radar returns that we're seeing uh as uh we continue to keep a a watchful eye uh on this particular storm. To reset the view here uh we don't have any severe weather ongoing to the north.

[00:14:03]I'll switch things over to the Green Bay radar just so we can sample everything going on uh through Brown County. Some very heavy rainfall here. Green Bay over towards Belleview and Aloway. Heavy rain ongoing, lots of thunder and lightning through Door County. In fact, we'll turn the lightning strikes on here. Uh and and certainly the storms uh to the west are much more in the way of prolific lightning producers, but a lot of heavy rainfall coming through the area right now. Uh there are gusty winds all along this storm line, 30 to 40 mph. The only severe storm, the only uh tornado warn storm in our area right now is southern parts of Green Lake County. It's about to move. Oops, a little too far to the wrong direction there. Uh, the storm will be moving out of Green Lake County eventually here down right where Dodge and Fondelac County and Green Lake County all come together. So, Fox Lake and just north of there uh is where this storm is going to be headed. So, we'll stick with it uh until this storm has has moved out of our viewing area and that's Green Lake and and Fondelac counties. And we'll get you back in uh to the NBA finals here as soon as this storm has passed on. But this is a very dangerous storm. You certainly want to take it seriously. Uh we are continuing to see that rotation. In fact, this latest scan looks like the winds may be picking up a touch uh back uh to the uh oh actually whenever we're looking at the let me switch things back over.

[00:15:23]We're looking at the Green Bay radar.

[00:15:24]We'll go back into uh Milwaukee here and see if we can get a little bit better sampling uh of everything. So still still looking uh about the same in terms of the intensity. We're not seeing uh the bright color. So, that's a good sign uh that we're we're not picking up on, you know, 60 70 mph of rotation one direction and 60 or 70 the other way.

[00:15:44]We'll recheck here uh our debris tracking product. And again, this is what you would want to see would indicate that we're not seeing lofted tornado debris. So, that is a good sign, but it doesn't mean there's no tornado on the ground. you do have to take it seriously as that this type of setup can produce very quick spin-ups that may only be on the ground for 2 3 4 minutes.

[00:16:03]If you're in the path of that, it can do some serious damage. When you see all these pink and purplish colors together, it means the radar is sampling things that are all the same. In this case, heavy rainfall. If we would see a small donut hole where you start to get into the the blues, that would indicate lofted tornado debris and a stronger tornado. We don't see that here and that is a good sign, but it again does not mean there's not a tornado on the ground. You can certainly make out a bit of a hook in here. So, the strong winds are coming into the storm into that inflow notch is what we would call that.

[00:16:38]And then on the backside, this would be where you would expect to find a tornado. Again, when we're looking at radar imagery, you have to keep in mind that this storm is moving and it's moving the entire time as this radar is sampling it. the data is being processed and then the data comes to us. Uh so where I circled it, that's where you would expect the tornado on radar, but in actuality, it's going to be a little farther out ahead of where that radar return is. So everybody that is in Marcus right now, you've got some heavy rainfall, likely some hail coming through as well. Uh but it is going to be to the south of Marcus and extreme southeastern parts of Green Lake County uh that we are most concerned with this tornado or possible tornado coming through the area. Uh so you'll want to get into that safe place, wait the storm out, wait for the heavy rain to come to an end. Uh with the heavy rain around and and the fact that it's getting darker out at this point, you likely would not see any tornado coming. it would be wrapped in that heavier rainfall uh and and likely that uh it will uh will pass through the area pretty quickly. Uh so just again wait the storm out, get into your safe place.

[00:17:44]It's a basement if you have one. If you don't have a basement available, go to an interior room uh something central in the house. You want to put as many walls between you and the outside of the home as you can. uh because a storm like this, even if it's not producing a tornado, could still have some 60 mile per hour wind gusts in there with that heavy rain coming through. Uh and that is is definitely enough to bring down some uh trees or power lines, tree limbs, things like that. And you just want to have as much between you and the outside elements as you can. So, a central room, a bathroom, an interior closet, closet underneath a staircase, anything like that is is the perfect place to seek shelter as a storm like this is coming through the area. Uh I'll zoom the map back out to see if we've seen the situation change. Anything farther to the north, still very heavy rainfall uh from from central door county uh right down through Brown County moving into Kiwani, Manetwalk, you're starting to see this heavy rainfall. Calamett and and northern parts of FondeLac County and down the line here uh the rest of Manitawalk, Shboen and and Fondelac counties will be seeing uh that heavy rainfall move through. Uh we have only in terms of warnings had the one storm cell that moved towards Green Bay that prompted a warning when it was in Shauno County, Okano County and then on the north side of Green Bay. Uh and then we've had a severe thunderstorm warning issued into uh Green Lake County and then that was later upgraded to the tornado warning which we are currently on air about. And again from a storm structure standpoint, you can definitely see it now that that hook uh that we look for on the radar to indicate a potential tornado. Anytime you see uh that hook feature right there, that is going to be something that in indicates some stronger rotation uh and the possibility for a tornado. Uh and we continue to see that couplet on the radar. The red and the green matched up right next to each other. Uh those colors indicate wind speed and wind direction relative to the radar. So, we're using the Milwaukee radar site right now. So, the red color is moving away from Milwaukee and the greens are moving towards Milwaukee. and you put that together right next to each other and yes, you've got rotation in there.

[00:19:49]So instead of a straight line, uh you're going to see, you know, more of a a hook to it. And so that is what prompted this tornado warning is that we're seeing this rotation in this particular storm cell. And as long as it continues to exhibit that rotation, you would expect the potential for a spin-up tornado. Uh, as I was talking about earlier on Action 2 News, this type of setup is not one that promotes intense, you know, EF3,45 type tornadoes that are on the ground for half an hour, 45 minutes. Not those kind of intense tornadoes. Uh, these would be the lower end, but you're talking about wind speeds around 65, 70, 80 miles an hour. Uh, so in line with what you would expect from a higher ends of your thunderstorm. So, this can still do a lot of damage for the areas that it would pass over and that's why we uh will continue to stress get into that safe place and wait this storm out. Uh we have seen hail at times with this storm cell. Uh the hail parameters starting to diminish some at least as of the latest scan. We're not seeing the uh grays on there indicating that quarter size hail. So perhaps we're we're down into uh more of the penny size hail with this particular storm. Uh in addition to the possibility for a tornado, there could be damaging winds. Anytime you start to see with the product here, this storm wind strength product where you get into those brighter colors, uh which again right there would be in the path of where that possible tornado is. Uh that tends to have a correlation to where we find some down tree limbs and and if we start to see some of the reds showing up on there would indicate some even stronger winds and the potential for more damage. But it's usually once you start getting into uh the brighter end of the scale. Uh so right as as you see uh underneath that storm wind strength where you go from weak in the green to that strong in the red where you get those brighter colors of green.

[00:21:43]Uh that is typically what starts to line up with where we see and and where we find storm damage. Uh I do see that the National Weather Service here has extended the tornado warning and and again when you are looking at what we see here when you have that velocity couplet that red and the green next to each other uh no surprise that the weather service did go ahead and extend this the rotation with this storm uh has continued to hold together and this is is not a storm that is well away from the radar. But when you get farther away from the radar, uh the radar can't sample the storm as well. But we're we're sampling this storm at around 3,3500 ft. So, you know, we're less than a mile up, about a little over half a mile above the ground. Uh so, at that range, you're getting much closer uh to the ground and a better sampling of the storm than say if it were, you know, a 100 miles or so farther away from where we are right now. So, we're we're continuing to see this rotation on the radar, and at times we have seen a little bit of a hook. It's a little less defined right now on the reflectivity, but uh the this is just showing us where the heavy rainfall is. And and there are plenty of times where you don't see a hook on the radar, but you do have a tornado. So, uh, when you look at this and and and if you're watching us just a few minutes ago and and saw the scan that showed a more well- definfined hook and now we're not as well defined, uh, that does not necessarily mean that anything has changed. There's just more rain kind of filling in out in front, which would actually make it a little harder to see if there is a tornado coming because here again, that rain, the hail very heavy, will obscure the view of anything in there and this tornado likely would be of the smaller variety. So, it's it's not a a giant wedge type tornado. It's going to be very small and localized where it does move through, but can still produce some pretty significant damage with 65, 70, 80 mileph winds over that short distance and small area.

[00:23:40]Looks like we're having some uh some scan issues there. Uh let's uh cycle back around. We'll see.

[00:23:51]Yeah, my uh looks Looks like we're having some data issues on uh on the end here. Trying to get uh let's see my color table change. Just trying to see why we're not uh looking at the we lost some of our our product there.

[00:24:13]Let's head back over. We'll switch see if the Green Bay radar is doing a little bit better here. Uh all right. So, yeah, we'll use we'll use the Green Bay radar just to get a better look at the color table. So, what I want to see again is I'm I'm looking for the reds and the greens next to each other. Uh and and we had uh some bad data looks like come through on the last scan from our Milwaukee radar. So, right now uh we are a little farther away from this storm using the Green Bay radar. But here again, you can still see even on Green Bay's radar what we're looking at. And it is going to be again that red and the green next to each other. Now, because we're using the Green Bay radar and not the Milwaukee radar, the colors have switched places uh where again the red is going away and the green is going towards. But even the Green Bay radar is still picking up on that rotation, that broad rotation here uh to the southeast of Marcus. At this point, it is extreme southeastern parts of Green Lake County.

[00:25:11]uh again to the west of Wapon right in in just a a a small sliver of Fondelac County where we have uh this storm showing up. So let's see if our we go.

[00:25:25]Uh we just got our we just got it back.

[00:25:27]Okay. A good sign here we are starting to see the definition loosen up a little bit on on that rotation. So that is a good sign that we're starting to see things maybe weaken a little bit in terms of of where that rotation is. If there is a tornado, it is going to be right where all three of these counties kind of come together. Green Lake, Dodge, and FondeLac, just to the north of Fox Lake, uh, is where we could possibly have a tornado with this storm.

[00:25:53]Uh, talking about the the possibility for 60, 70, 80 mile per hour winds to accompany that. Get into that safe place if you're here in far southwestern parts of Fondelac County. Anybody I would say to the west of Wapon and within 5 to 10 miles of the county line, uh you probably want to get into that safe place right now and just wait the storm out as it as it passes through. Uh it is continuing to track off towards the south and the east and and for the most part will head into Dodge County, but we are going to see the possibility that there would be a tornado crossing for a brief time from Green Lake uh and into portions of Fondelac County. I do want to go ahead and set the stage here, reset things, and we do have a new severe thunderstorm warning to talk about. This is in Manito County. Uh we are and have seen the potential for 60 mph wind gusts uh along this line of thunderstorms. So, here we are into central Manitaw County. Uh we'll again use the radar and it's tough to pick out the using the velocity product because these storms are actually not moving at the the Milwaukee radar. Uh they're moving uh across it. Uh so the wind would be blowing from west to east instead of southward uh down towards Milwaukee. But uh along the leading edge here, anytime you start to see uh and and in fact, we'll change it over and see if we get a little bit better sampling with Green Bay. Uh anytime you see those reds go quickly into the yellows and or excuse me, the greens go quickly into the yellows and the reds, that is going to indicate some very heavy rain coming down and a lot of times you do get strong wind gusts out ahead of that. So watching the potential for 60 mile per hour wind gust along there. Not seeing much of a hail threat on on First Alert Viper Max with that storm cell cutting into Manitaw County. Uh so looks like that one is going to be mostly a wind event. Uh 60 mph winds are possible with that. Uh even though there's no warning to the north of that into Kiwani County, uh likely that you're going to get some gusty winds at least on the order of 40, 45, 50 miles per hour as that part of the storm coming out of Brown County and towards uh uh just move through Green Bay will come down into your area. But again, the most threatening storm right now uh is crossing out of Green Lake County into far southern parts of Fondelac County, far southwestern FondeLac and moving into Dodge County.

[00:28:13]So, this will be moving out of our viewing area here uh in the not tooistant future. And I am seeing again less definition uh on that radar product. So, we'll give this a couple more scans and once this is fully passed into Dodge County, uh we will go ahead and uh and leave the air, but still a dangerous situation. Uh it is right in the far southwestern parts of Fondellet County, far southeastern Green Lake County where we still have that rotation showing up on the radar. Uh, and it would be possible for this to spin up a weak tornado. As we've sampled throughout the evening here, have not seen any debris showing up. Still do not. So, that is a good sign that we don't have uh a longer tracked tornado on the ground, anything like that.

[00:28:57]Whenever you see all of these deeper shades of pinks and purples, the radar beam is sampling just rainfall, not seeing anything else. where you if I I were to see uh like what I would call a donut hole of those blues. If you get a well- definfined small area of those blues and greens, that can indicate lofted tornado debris. We're not seeing that here. So, uh a good sign. We will continue to monitor this storm as it's passing out of our area. It's not going to be in for much longer. Uh this storm line will continue to move through Fondelac, Green Lake, and Shbboan counties here. You'll still keep some heavy rainfall and strong winds around.

[00:29:35]Uh this particular storm possibly producing a tornado will be passing out of Fondelac County here shortly. Uh we do have a severe thunderstorm warning in Manitaw County right along I43 uh and and northern parts of the county where we are seeing some of that heaviest rainfall and strongest winds. Uh and then as you get into southern parts of Manitaw County, it's Balders down towards St. Aians. Uh Mimi looking at some heavy rain, probably some strong gusty winds coming in with that. Uh so this storm is going to be moving its way off of the Manitawalk coastline here and into Lake Michigan over the next half hour. But down the line, anybody along I43 man to walk proper uh within the next 15 20 minutes, you're going to have this heavy rainfall uh as well as the potential for those damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 miles per hour coming on into your area. So let's go ahead. We'll take another look down here into Fondelac County, southern FondeLac County, far southern FondeLac County, uh southwestern parts. That's where we still see some broad rotation showing up on the radar. It's not as tight, not as well defined as it was. And now we're starting to see that circulation uh pass down into Dodge County and and exit Fondelac County. So, what we're looking at here, again, this is a radar indicated tornado warning. Uh the reds are your winds going away from the radar site. Uh and the greens are the winds that are going toward the radar site and this uh continues to show signs of weak rotation and that has prompted the tornado warning here. Likely uh if there is a tornado it would be far southwestern Fondellet County and going to be pushing into Dodge County here.

[00:31:13]So, uh, we'll give this just a few more minutes and I think we'll be able to leave the air as this storm, if there is a tornado, it is going to be out of our viewing area here shortly. Uh, if you're watching us from Wapon, if you're in Wapon or to the east of Wapon, uh, the core of this storm where the rotation is, is going to be passing to your south. Uh but to the southwest of Wondon down towards Fox Lake, that is certainly going to be the area of concern here uh going forward over the next uh 10 to 20 minutes uh as this storm continues to work its way out of the area. So uh we are going to be wrapping things up here shortly. We have one severe thunderstorm warning in Manitaw County. To the north of that, still some pretty intense storms coming through Kiwani County. Uh we'll have to keep an eye out. We have seen rotation developing on the southern end of this. So, we'll be watching everybody in southeastern Fondellet County and out ahead of this into Shabboan County uh for the potential for anything to start picking up some spin.

[00:32:12]But when we look at the radar right now, nothing really stands out except for uh again that one storm that we've been talking about here for the last uh 20 30 minutes or so uh coming out of Green Lake County and passing down into Dodge County. But it looks like the core of the rotation at this point uh has now settled into Dodge County. Uh so this storm is moving out of our area. So we will go ahead and leave it here tonight.
