The Toxic Gym Couple Return To Destroy Their Clothing Brand's Reputation One Last TimeAdded:
Hi guys, how are we doing? Welcome back to my YouTube channel. I am still housesitting. Therefore, the setup is looking a little bit different. However, I am back home in the next couple more days, right? And then we will see old setup resume. Not a very long video, but I do have an update to the whole suave gay active wear. You woke left hard keyboard warrior sitting behind your screens on your little faceless profiles bullying away.
>> The Aussie couple who basically had to come on and beg for forgiveness because the wife of the piece is a husband and wife. The wife, Chloe, decided to video this guy who was just trying to work out on the rower. He was in a gym. He was using the rowing machine and she was out to dinner where I don't know where the hell she was by the way, but she was out to dinner and she could see into a gym.
She decided it would be a fun thing to video record and post it on her stories.
People obviously screenshotted that and were like, "No, bullying isn't okay."
And then shared it about. And to make matters worse, these two own an active wear brand called Suave. We'd already discovered that Suave was not hitting the way that they wanted it to. Connor, the guy, came on a few weeks ago and basically said, "Hey, my active wear brand is failing.
>> My active wear business is currently failing and I have no idea what to do anymore. I've been embarrassed to make this video for the longest time and I don't know what else to do. We've been this [ __ ] close to quitting because this [ __ ] is hard.
>> I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Please help me." And if you said anything remotely constructive that he thought he could emulate, then fine. But if you said something that he would actually genuinely have to do something about, he would have a reasoning as to why that's not going to happen. For example, his active wear brand, their socials was primarily just wedding and couple content. It was a bit confusing and he instantly said, "Oh, but people really really care about our wedding."
or oh, we're just putting a bit of our personal life into our brand. And it's like, if your brand looks like this and it looks like a generic carbon copy of every other active wear brand that I can think of that has been regurgitated in the past decade, you putting out your personal couple story is not going to make people want to buy it because these it's a dime a dozen. Okay, dime a dozen.
Anyway, so people were pointing us out.
He was still in the comment section kind of, you know, doing his thing. I My synopsis from finding all of this out was very much, you know, these guys, they're only taking taking accountability because they've been caught and they don't want people to think badly about their activewear brand. That's basically it. And their apologies were not great. We had Chloe who was the was the culprit of all of this. She gave the most cardboard apology. And by that I mean it was dry.
It was lacking seasoning. It was so unbelievably dry. And to be honest, I owe you all an apology. I took a video of someone in the gym just doing their thing and it was thoughtless and stupid.
And to be honest, it never should have happened. I'm sorry to everyone that I offended. And to the SW community, I am really sorry for letting you guys down.
I will do better. There was nothing. And also, as others pointed out that I missed, there were about five or six edits like cuts within within about I think it must have been about a 32 second apology if that. He said something which I people are going to be saying this back to them for years to come.
>> I'm not on here to excuse the behavior.
She understands that what she did was wrong and she is truly sorry. People think Swab's a big team and it's not.
It's just me and Chloe helps out. I am dealing with business for the first time myself. It's my first time living. It's her first time living and in the public eye, things hit differently and we really need to be more cautious of what we pose.
>> We've never grown a business before, guys. Yeah. Yeah. In order to grow a business, well, you kind of need to know not to bully your clientele. The people who are going to be buying this off of you, maybe try not bullying them, and then we can get on to a good start. You may be wondering why are you here? I'm here cuz I was actually tagged in a video that has been re-uploaded. So, thank you so much for this tag. You know who you are. A video of Connor.
Oh my god. So, I thought that his last couple of videos have been a little bit grolly. You know, they've been a bit they've got way more spice than than Khloe's. I don't know. I don't know what is going on with with with that girl in terms of her apology videos. Her energy levels are just not matching Connor's.
But Connor, to be fair to him, has been groveling. It's just the words that have been coming out of his mouth have not been matching up with his actions basically. But essentially, I don't even know what to make of this video because he swiftly deleted it. But th this is what he he dives into first.
>> All right. as you asked for an apology.
You got two of them. It still wasn't good enough. Now I'm going to [ __ ] bite back. You woke left keyboard warrior sitting behind your screens on your little faceless profiles bullying away.
Because apparently having an issue with bullying your clientele or just bullying people in general automatically like you can automatically makes you a woke leftist which doesn't I I just find I just find it interesting when people bring politics into stuff like this. I just find it interesting because one you're telling on yourself. you you can tell that he is so clearly grasping at straws to try and make his point. At the end of the day, they should have vanished for a little bit, but they didn't. They have actually decided to come back and many people say that they are packing fake orders.
>> In light of everything that's been happening recently and everyone praying on our downfall, we've had a few people actually show a bit of support, thankful we are to you guys, and pack a few orders together. Joe, thank you so much for getting the black tank. You're also getting a buttermilk one for free as well. Susie got herself the box crop, which is the t-shirt I'm wearing now, a black essential tea and a white essential tea >> because I'd be really embarrassed to order from this company. Not just because of the bullying aspect of it, but also it's generic for me anyway to buy their active wear, which looks like so many other companies but more expensive. I would argue that you're only buying it to support the message that they're putting out. Do you know what I mean?
Which I think is just it's really icky because I don't want to be a part of their message. He then starts just feverishly like rapidly starts just bringing up screenshots, bringing up comments.
>> My wife filmed a video that 80% of you would have filmed yourself. It just would have ended up in a group chat. Not like that [ __ ] and put on a main story.
>> I'm really confused. Is he calling his wife that or is he referencing the person on the rower? Because either one is not the greatest look.
>> While you all claim to be having the moral high ground and making her take accountability for her actions, you are doing the exact same thing you are accusing her of. This this deserves to be bullied into Yeah, right. I mean, is this not bullying? This [ __ ] bullying this. Also, that's an influencer. Why are you bullying her? That's just mean.
This This commenting on her appearance, that's rich for someone that's insecure.
That's mean. That's her appearance. She can't help that. Come on, man. Rude.
Come on, Shaunie. I thought better of you. This one was actually pretty funny as she is. Come on. Also, Amber, if you're going to call someone out, at least get all the facts right. This is defamation. I was 3,000 km away when this happened. At least it got a little bit of relevancy back to you jumping on this trend. Like this is you commenting on a screenshot applauding someone that has got a group of 25 plus people that's intimidation claiming that they're going to go and do the same thing to Chloe and that is their mission.
>> Now I will say this, okay, and I don't want this to get misconstrued. He does have a right to bring up the fact that people are obviously, you know, trying to get together groups to like go and get into Khloe's space and whatnot.
Going into that actual real life personal space is dangerous and that's not something that should even be remotely discussed. That's treading into really, really, really sketchy territory. And that is a cause for concern and that's not something people should be doing. Like he is right about that. people. If that is true, who knows? I haven't seen them. People actually taking it real life in that aspect. That's never okay. But the fact is is that some of some of the messages that he's showing are relatively quite tame. Uh and it's just people showing their their disgust towards it. Now, what a lot of people do do if they're caught in this kind of controversy is to say a say sorry, blanket apology, and then disappear for a little while. It doesn't need to be like a year, but it needs to be a substantial enough time for people on the internet to kind of mill over what you said. Maybe a lot will forget about it. And then you can then come back on and you will still have those people that obviously are still not happy with you. But the amount of backlash that you'll get and the messages that you'll get, you'll be able to post more freely on your business pages without people literally telling everyone to boycott your brand. But they didn't do this. Instead, what they've tried to do is they've tried to adopt this um any publicity is good publicity.
And I don't actually believe like all publicity is good publicity. I really don't because even negative publicity, yeah, it may get people talking about you, but the long-term repercussions of that, I feel some people do take it too far. I feel like it does derail a reputation in the long run if you just keep on feeding into it. And by them doing these, hey, let's pack a what whatever $100 order with us. Hey, we're going to chuck in free stuff. D >> Taylor got the black leg of her own hoodie. She's getting the black trackies for free. Kelly got the cherry lift leggings, cherry lift shorts, and cherry lift halter bra. She's getting the white halter to buy for free.
>> The only way that I would say that is clever is if they're not actually getting in some of those orders, but they're saying, "Oh, thank you for the order. We're going to give you a free one." which would give other people almost an incentive to be like, "Oh, well, I want free stuff, so they'll then order." That would be clever. I don't know if these two uh I'm trying to say this nicely. I don't know if they have that foresight to think strategically like that, but either way, I would have given it way more time. Way more time. There's not enough time. Not only that, but he also brings up this creator. I believe his name is James, but he has a business called Elite Liftwear, which he doesn't actually, that's not the name of it anymore.
Basically, he brings it up and he says, "Hey, you've been making a few videos about me." And Connor couldn't take it.
So, what did Connor do?
>> Don't even get me started on this bottom feeder. Like this is you commenting on a screenshot applauding someone that has got a group of 25 plus people. That's intimidation. Claiming that they're going to go and do the same thing to Chloe and that is their seven videos on the same topic. Mate, you have set a record. But guess what? In business, you do actually learn something and that's called trademarking. You haven't done it. I figured out how to. Elite Liftware Co. now owned by Connor. You stay tuned for the cease and desist letter. It's best 250 bucks I ever spent.
>> Yeah. He decided to um register a trademark or whatever for the business and he was like now I own it. Which I mean the funny thing is is that he's saying Connor Connor was like yeah if you know anything about business which I just looked this up and now I know you didn't trademark your business.
That's business 101. despite if he'd have researched a little bit further, he would have found out that you don't automatically own the name of the I mean you would you don't own the business but you don't own the name of the business um because it has to go through a procedure and it can sit in this little limbo phase for about six to seven months um and it's got to actually be talked about and decided and if at any moment someone i.e. James, the actual person who has the business certificates, like the registration and everything, if he comes on and he says, "Hey, yeah, so he did this out of malicious intent. Uh, here is the video to prove that he did it out of malicious intent," then Connor wouldn't get the name of the business. Uh, he wouldn't get the trademark. And not only that, but he if he decides to like pursue this, he would just end up just chucking away a load of money for legal fees to fight over a name that he didn't even want. He did it out of malicious spite.
And the thing is is that I've got no doubt that yeah, Connor and Khloe would have received some really nasty messages. Don't get me wrong, they definitely would have. Um especially if people are planning on like ambushing Chloe in real life. Like none of that is okay. But at the end of the day, you can kind of tell what people are like if they he he literally has just jumped from like, "Hey, this guy's made a few videos about me. Therefore, I'm going to go trademark his business name." As far as I'm aware and as far as you guys are aware, commentary on the internet is allowed. Okay? We we can talk about things. We can talk about things in a nonthreatening, non-aggressive manner if you have caused enough drama on the internet. like commentary is allowed. Uh you can't just silence people who you don't agree with.
>> Steps to destroy your active web business. Firstly, make a video about how you shouldn't make fun of others on the internet. Secondly, post a video making fun of somebody on the internet and then delete it and block everyone that comments. I wonder who.
>> So, what does James do? So, James comes on and he just says, "Dude, um I was already in the process. I I do want to believe this by the way. you're never like 100% sure just because the internet is the internet. He says like, "Hey, yeah, my branding and name and everything did actually change before he came and like trademarked the business or whatever, like he was already in the process of doing it."
>> So, for those that have missed the past 24 hours, let me fill you in. So, apparently my business name has now been trademarked by a certain individual and all of you then think that I've done this in response and I'm rebranding because of what he's done. The crazy thing is that none of you actually know what's happening behind the scenes. And this rebrand has been happening for weeks. Before the gym video was even made, the rebrand had started. So, I don't want to be that person, but you just spent money on a name that means nothing.
>> He Yeah, I mean, he's just he reiterated the same thing that actually he would have to wait. He's just going to have to wait and potentially fork out money to fight over a name that he doesn't even care about. What does he mean by elite is now his? Grab the popcorn. Get ready for the drama. So, this refers to his crash out video where he effectively told all of his community to get effed.
What he then went and did was say that he's trademarked my business name or at least tried to trademark my business name. But what he actually means is he's submitted the trademark, which then goes under review for like 7 months. Him saying he owns Elite Liftear is not true because it's going to be under review for the next 7 months. I can fight that claim also. And because I've got the prior registration and proof of selling and operating this business, I'm probably going to win. Now, am I going to fight it? No. Because what he doesn't realize is I've been rebranding the entire business. That name basically means nothing. And the part where he says he's going to send the cease and desist letter. You need to first own the trademark before you can send that. But if he does send a letter, I'll make a video. At the end of the day, them deleting was potentially one of the worst things they could possibly do because in hope in by deleting it, their hope is that hey, people won't be able to see it anymore. We will not have to go down this rabbit hole ever again. But the thing is is that people have already stitched it. YouTubers have already made YouTube videos about it. Tik Tok creators have already made Tik Tok videos about it. People are commenting on it. People comment it all over the page.
At the end of the day, it's already out there. It is already out there, my loves. So, what are we doing? What are we doing? It don't It really doesn't make any sense.
>> Jason got himself the essential shorts in gray, the tank in black, the tank in buttercream, and a pair of our socks.
You're getting the chalky tank for free.
>> But you know what? I I wish Connor and Chloe the best of luck. But if you can't take criticism, um just don't have a brand. Don't be a face on the internet.
Don't don't make a b do not put your name to a business. Just don't do it because you are going to be faced with so much criticism. You could be selling your own things off of your own name. Da da da. You could be a content creator.
You could be whatever. But as soon as you put yourself out there, you are going to have to grow thick skin. And I feel like a lot of people just jump into it and just dive into business just head on. I don't know if this is statistically correct because I don't I never did a business degree or anything.
Just picked up stuff as I've gone along.
Um but I mean like a way to grow your business nowadays, the modern way of doing it is very much social media and you end up having to put a name to the face. Doesn't matter if you're selling cakes or if you're selling surfboards.
Do you know what I mean? Or most people want to take it to social media. But if you're not a very likable character, you might want to employ people that are to be like the face of the company or hire a social media management team or something because it will tank your business. It really will. And I feel like this is what's happening. But anyway, thank you so much for watching.
This has been so short and sweet. But do you know what? I was out on my early morning dog walk. I will keep on bringing this up because I'm actually quite proud of it because it's been so hot in the UK at the minute that um housesitting for my mom. They're back today. Um but basically it's been so hot here that I've had to get up at like oh I don't know. I had my alarm set for like 6 and then I to I was out at about yeah4 to 7 and I was out for like 2 hours but through woods and like went for a full on like two days in a row fullon walks. my dog would just get so overheated. Like I was reading um this is really like beyond the point, but uh there's like local county shows where we are right now and there's been loads and loads and loads of reports of dogs just like collapsing because people were taking out like taking their dogs out and it's like boiling hot and some of them are like flatnosed dogs that just can't breathe properly anyway and then they're like collapsing. He's not flatfaced but I have been getting up really early and now he is like he's zonked out. Oh, also also I had a couple of um comments as well on my nails and I did do a shout out for my girl Haz who does uh my nails, but basically she is a really good friend of mine and love her to absolute pieces and she does all sorts of nail in like she does she posts pictures like nails of the week and she's incredibly talented. But she has her own Instagram page. Um and I will give it a little shout out again. I'll always shout her out. Her name's Haz.
I'll put her in the description box if you are into getting your nails done and sometimes you're like really stuck for inspiration to go have a little look.
She's constantly posting new things.
These are the can't focus today. These are the more simple ones I've got recently. But yeah, she's incredibly talented. She definitely deserves it and she does all sorts of amazing stuff and I love following mail accounts just to gain inspiration cuz sometimes I just sit there and I'm just like I don't know what I want. But anyway, thank you so much for watching today's video. I hope you guys have a wonderful day wherever you are in this world. Take care of each other. take care of yourselves and I will catch up with you guys in the next video.
