So today we're going to find out how much money you can make from washing cars, car detailing in Jamaica in one single day. Let's go. So this is the next one. So this one is just wash and vacuum.
Welcome back, Greens family. Don't forget to give this video a like. So this car today is getting a complete detail. This vehicle was hit by hurricane Melissa. Windscreen out. Look at the seat covered in mass. And I am telling you, so many splinters. Glasses are everywhere in this car. So, we really have to be careful because we don't want no one to get hurt today. So, it's three of us working today, right?
And while my co-workers are inside of this vehicle vacuuming and getting out everything that need to get out, I am outside, you know, starting out the seats, the seat covers, you know, and all of that. We're going to be washing these seats, putting them up to dry and all of that. And we start to put out some of the seat covers already. So Greens family some of the time when I'm not able to you know be posting a video these are one of the thing that I do behind the scene we car we detail cars and we also you know wash and vacuum cars so all right so today now look at that look at that look at that you see that glasses are every single wear some stains is on the car don't worry yourself we're getting rid of everything everything We're going to get rid of the name of the business is Active Car Wash and the service is amazing.

Just reached back home family. Actually got home early today because the rain came down and we had to just leave the work. So here you know cleaning up some planting. One of my planting them just fall down. This one wasn't rooted properly. So we're cleaning up the planting field and we also planting some cane as well and we have some cane to clean out. You see my cane coming up nicely. Yeah. So all these bush. Yeah.
I'm going to get rid of all of them. So get back to the car business. So um we didn't get to, you know, wash as many car as possible today because some of the customers them who called in and wanted a car to be washed today, they had to cancel soon get feeding you here.
Soon get feeding you guys. So they had to cancel because the rain came down today. And you know, one of the worst thing to do is just wash your car and the rain fall the same time. It's as if it didn't wash. You understand? Some people will still get their car wash because them just, you know, like when the inside is clean, they don't even care about the outside. We have customers like that who will just call me and say they just want the inside of the car to be clean. Outside is okay.
Anytime a person is thinking about a new job or doing something new, they always think about how much money am I going to make doing this thing. But that's not the first thing you're supposed to think about. Try to add something that other people is not doing. For example, if you're a hairdresser, think about an, you know, hairstyle that you don't see everywhere and try to learn it real well before you start, you know, bringing it to other people. If you are a mechanic, all right, let's use a mechanic for um an example. the other day when the Chinese opened the mechanic shop, right?
And you see how many people going there in Jamaica, the line was so long. People going there from 4:00 in the morning, lining up, waiting to get their vehicle started up because they had everything there. They didn't have to go to um mechanic number A and get the vehicle service, then have to go to a different mechanic to get the vehicle line and balance. Then you have to go to a different mechanic to change the front end parts. They had all the service at the same location and that is one thing that people really like. People like when they can go to a location and get everything sorted out because people don't like to be running around and wasting all day just to get, you know, one thing sort out. So, um the car wash business now it's not simple as you think it is, right? It is not simple as you think it is. And let me tell you this, when you do your job real well, people will pay you. They will even pay you double. I charge customers 4,000 to wash their vehicle already and customers pay me $8,000 because when I was when I finish with the work, they really appreciate, you know, the service that they got and they pay double. So, don't consider the money. If you consider the money, you're not going to do a good job. And we try to do things that other car wash is not doing. Maybe it's when a person wash a certain amount of time, we give them a free wash. Maybe it's we have a we have a special day when we'll give you know some of the customers a gift anything at all. That's how we do it. You understand? We just we just don't try to do it regular. And the another thing always try to wash a customer's vehicle as if it's your personal vehicle and try to wash it better than the last time. So one of my biggest goal is when I you know wash a person car that person will call us again. that person will call us again.
And the only way we can make that happen, number one, whenever you go inside of a person's vehicle to wash it, anything you see inside of a person vehicle, please do not touch it. You understand? You cannot find money inside of a person car. If you try I've watched several vehicle and I I saw money inside of the vehicle and when I give the money to the customer, the customer is like, "Where where did you get this?" I said I found it underneath the seat when I was you know vacuuming the seat and those things build you know confidence and they build you know trust in the customer. So because of that customer you know really feel pleased they feel relaxed to call you and let you wash their ve and let you wash um their vehicle. So that's one thing you you have to bear in mind. You understand?
Anything you want in life, you can get it. Work hard to it. Don't try to go the easy route. When you go in a customer vehicle, you see customer put down your personal personal, you know, belongings and and you enter into it. No. You see purse, you don't open those stuff. You don't went into wash purse. You went in to wash car. Another thing, always double check. You understand what I'm trying to say? Always double check.
Sometimes when you're really hurrying because we have days out there. We have so many customer calling in and we're trying to finish this, you know, car as quick as possible so we can get to the next car. Even though you're hurrying, always make a double check. After washing the vehicle, just walk around the vehicle a few times just to see what are the spots, you know, that I missed out and all of that. No matter how perfect you are, no matter how much time you spend washing a vehicle, after you wash a vehicle, someone can just walk to the vehicle and say, "Here is a spot right here." No matter how perfect you are, like I said, you're going to miss, you know, spots on the vehicle. But don't miss a whole lot of spot and the obvious one. If it's a simple little spot and you didn't see it, yeah, we understand. But try to do it as if it's your own car. Another thing try to work with more than you know just you alone.
I work with two other people. So there are days there most days I'm not able to go with them. I have other things to do.
And when I have other things to do, some days I have butchering to do, some days I have you know per personal family business. I have um house working on other things to do and those days I'm not able to go with them. So it's best to work with more than one people and trustworthy people as well. You understand what I'm trying to say?
That's the most important thing. They have to prove themsel and try to have this is this is this one is the most important thing I am telling you about the business. This one is the most important. Try to have peace among among you guys. You understand? Whatever you have to do, pray over the business in the morning before you know going on the road and start you know washing customers vehicle. pray. Just have a little word of prayer and let peace lead the way. When you're working with a team and you can joke and laugh and work together, it make the work go so fast.
But when everyone is just tense and the least little thing a person say, it becomes a big problem. Trust me, you guys not going anywhere at all. Nowhere not going just wasting entire day. We have to have peace when we have to can laugh and just you know sometimes we wash a customer's vehicle and if the three of us is just laughing and talking about all sort of stuff and we just have an amazing time and the vehicle wash in no time and when we go back in the vehicle same thing. So um that's some of the things that you have to learn and adapt before entering into these business. It is not an easy business.
I'm telling you on a good day we can wash up to 15 cars you know and it depends on what the customer is doing exactly when we're like doing detailing that take a lot of time. So for the day we can probably detail like maybe three or four cars depending on how dirty they are. But when we are you know just washing and you know basic wash vacuum clean out the car wash the car you know shine down the car properly put on you know your tire shine and all of all of those stuff and you know amaral and freshen up the car that will take us probably like a half an hour. If three of us washing the vehicle it can take us less one vehicle to wash can take us way less than half an hour. But to watch the vehicle and when the customer look at it and say, "Wow, really like how my car is, you know, is looking," it takes us like a half an hour. Because what happened, we work as a team. So while one person is, you know, using the power wash to blow off the vehicle, another person is washing the vehicle with soap.
And while one person is washing the vehicle with soap, another person is washing the tire with soap as well. So the the person blowing off the vehicle with the power was the power wash just go straight around the vehicle and and and he does that twice and by the second time the vehicle is completely washed off. Now the vehicle is completely washed off. One person is you know cleaning out the vehicle, another person shining off the vehicle and another person starting out the mats or the tire and stuff like that. And that's how we work as a team. So the first thing, so it doesn't have no price range of how much you can make. You can go out and you can make probably a $20,000 this day or next day you can even double that. It just depends on how much you know customer called in and what exactly they want to get done. So if customers call you and they want to get you know detailing done that's going to cost more money because when you can just wash a person vehicle and you know um for half an hour and detailing now that's going to take a long time maybe 2 3 hours depending on how dirty the car is. So you have to charge way more for that and you know the service is is an amazing service. A lot of people tell me that the service is really amazing because sometime they're really busy, don't have no time to go to the car wash, they can call us and while they're getting ready to go to work, we're getting the vehicle ready. So immediately they just jump inside of the vehicle and head on to work with a clean car as if they went to the car wash because trust me, sometimes you go to the car wash, you have to sit down and wait for 2 three hours to get your vehicle washed. And sometimes it's not it does it don't even wash properly.
You understand? So, not bashing anyone, but um it is it is a good work. Yeah, it is a good work. And anything at all you're doing, like I said, anything you're considering, try to learn it to your best of your ability before you, you know, you start thinking about the money. Once you learn to do your job well, people will pay you and they will be pleased to pay you. You understand?
You won't have to be forcing no customer to pay you. And always try to do something that is additional, something that the customer didn't ask for. You understand? So sometimes a customer might say, "I only want to wash off the vehicle." And we just wash off the vehicle, but we also do a little cleaning on the inside. You know, not much, but always try to do something that the customer can appreciate. And always remember, put your customers first. I have a lot to the family. have some pigs to free up right now and clean up their pen. Yeah. Yeah. So, these pigs, they've been here with us um few days now. These one have been here around 2 days now. 2 days. Yeah. 2 days.
