Successful YouTube channels require mastery of six key pillars: video quality (lighting, resolution, aesthetics), audio quality (clarity, balance), SEO optimization (titles, descriptions, tags, spoken content), thumbnail design (the most critical factor), delivery style (natural, personable presentation), and information/value (content worth and viewer benefit). Creators should score above 8/10 on all pillars to outperform 99% of YouTube channels, with the only barriers to success being time and consistency.

How I blow Up ALL My YouTube ChannelsAdded:
What's up, tribe? In this video, I'm going to break down my exact method that I've used over the last 18 years to get every one of my channels monetized, and I'm going to show you exactly why and how and what I look at when I'm doing so. Okay. Oh, before I forget, I am Trey and you are watching Learn with Trey, where we learn everything there is to know about YouTube. Now, let's get into this video. Now, the first thing I do before I build or grow any YouTube page is I see if the page is fertile. And what I mean by seeing if the page is fertile, is the page fertile enough to grow the content that you are trying to currently post. For example, this page is called Learn with Trey, where I teach you everything there is to know about YouTube. Okay? If I start posting videos teaching you how to fix cars, this page would not be a fertile page for me to post those videos because all of my subscribers come from uh YouTube growth videos. All of my views come from YouTube growth videos. So, if I wanted to show you how to fix cars and start a car page, I should go start a new page dedicated to fixing cars. People think because they have a page and the page already has a,000 subscribers or 2,000 subscribers that they can somehow magically convert those people over to the subscribers that they want. And that's not true at all. It is easier to start a new page from scratch so that that way you can ensure that the page is fertile for the videos that you are trying to grow. All right. So, one of my students, Les, she did a one-on-one session with me about four months ago.
She recently just posted this on the school community section. She says, "Uh, well, I'll show you real fast. Well, it's me, Les, with another update from the Talk Less Show YouTube channels. We are about to get my clips channel monetized, which makes three channels monetized since working with Trey. Do not skip steps. Do not freak out. Trust the process. I thought I was being pranked when he told me to hide 50 episodes of my show, but now it makes total sense. Even the lowest performing videos do over two 2K views, which was never the case before. Thank you, Trey.
Les, you are welcome. Now, Les's page was a textbook example for a page not being able to grow because the soil just wasn't fertile. But she listened to me.
She followed directions and more importantly, she got good at the six pillars, which I'm about to explain to you in a moment. And now she's on her third page getting monetized in less than four months. So, when you're building a YouTube channel, there are six keys that you are looking at in order to get monetized. I call these the six pillars of YouTube. And yes, I came up with them. And I strongly strongly believe in this system. I think I'm going to call it the Trey system. But how y'all feel about that? Huh? They got a nice ring to it.
>> Baby, if you a narcissist, just say that.
>> Spell narcissist.
Spell it.
>> N A C.
>> Yeah, that that's what I thought.
>> Whatever. T R E Y. Trey. Narcissist.
That's how you spell it. YO, CAN CAN I do my video? Can I do that >> then? Shoot.
>> Anyway, man, like I was saying, these are the six pillars that will blow up any YouTube channel. Video, audio, thumbnail, SEO, information slashvalue.
I put information and value on the same line because something can have a lot of value, but it's not really um you don't bring a lot of information in your videos, but you bring value. The value may be that the people find the videos funny, you help them pass time at work, or you just help them relax. That's the value, okay? But it may not be informational. Now, the last one is your delivery. I'm going to go and break down each pillar so you'll know exactly what each one means. First up is the video.
This is the actual aesthetics of your video. How is your lighting? Is your video in 4K? Is your video in 1080?
Right? What's the aesthetics of your video? How does your video feel? All of this stuff goes in to you getting clicks on YouTube or you um presenting an authority figure or you being believable on YouTube. Like this background that I'm in right now looks believable. Does that make sense? Next up is the audio.
How does your audio sound to the people?
Does the audio feel good? Does the audio sound good? Is the audio popping? Is it is it too high right here and too low down here? All of these things tie in to making a YouTube channel successful.
Audio is one of the easiest things to fix, but yet a lot of creators can't get the audio right. Third is the SEO. This is your titles, your descriptions, your channel tags, your video tags, your metadata. How how is YouTube's AI reading the video? All of this pertains to your SEO. If you say exactly what you're going to do in a video, that actually helps your SEO. For example, if you made a video showing people how to fix a chain on a bicycle, somewhere inside the video, preferably in the beginning, you need to say, "In this video, I'm going to be showing you how to fix a chain on a bicycle." See, YouTube transcribes every word that you say, and AI knows exactly what you're doing in the video. So that way, when someone searches how to fix a chain on a bicycle, YouTube is going to pull your video up and it's going to rank higher in the search engine. Make sense? Yeah, it makes sense. Coming up number four on the list is the most important pillar of them all. This is the thumbnail. I've done over 300 one-on-one sessions. 300 one-on-one sessions. And only three people had thumbnails that were ranked above an eight. Only three people. So that means that 99% of y'all watching this video probably have no idea how to do a good thumbnail. But guess what I have for you over on the school platform. Guess what I have. All right, tribe. This is my school community right here. If you go, you see we have 196 members. It's literally only $33 and you get all of these courses. Okay? And you scroll down here, you get understanding YouTube thumbnails, the good versus the bad. You see all of these are modules that you can do. All right? They range between four to about 10 minutes. I'm going to go back to the classroom. You scroll down here. Uh YouTube course thumbnail and Photoshop understanding YouTube thumbnails. Trust me, this is something that majority of you need. And when I say majority, I do mean 99% of you all need to know how to do thumbnails. It is the most important pillar on growing your YouTube page. So, stop being hard-headed and go over there to the school and sign up. It took me over 300 hours to do that thumbnail course, man. Go over there and sign up, man, and stop putting up them garbage thumbnails, man.
>> Calm down, bro.
>> No, ain't no CALM DOWN. YO, AIN'T NO CALM DOWN. CUZ I'M TIRED OF I'M TIRED OF THEM COMING ON MY VIDEOS. CAN YOU LOOK AT MY CHANNEL? AND I look at their channel and they talking about I ain't got no views. Can you look at my channel and help ME? AND I GO LOOKING ON THE CHANNEL AND THEY GOT THEM GARBAGE.
>> COME ON, RELAX. YOU GOT TO CHILL, BRO.
WE GOT TO FINISH THE VIDEO, >> YO. All right, I'mma chill. Yo, I'mma chill. I'mma chill. All right, I'mma relax. Next on the list is your delivery. Do you feel personable if it needs to be personable? How are you able to deliver the words? Can I see you reading off of the teleprompter? I'm going to say that again. Okay. Can I see you reading off of the teleprompter?
That is one of the fastest ways to disconnect from your audience. You put the teleprompter on your iPhone. You set the iPhone or whatever up and I I'm watching you. Hey guys, in this video today, I'm going to be teaching you how to grow a YouTube channel. When you first grow a YouTube channel, you do not want to read off of a teleprompter because it will ruin your delivery and the audience will feel disconnected. You see what I mean? Did you feel that disconnect? Now, next on the list is your information/value. What kind of information are you giving in the video?
Is the information valuable? Why? This is one of the most important things you have to ask when you're looking at this pillar. Why would anybody watch it? What are they getting from watching my videos? What value do my videos bring?
What information am I giving to the people watching the videos? All right, tribe. So, people ask me all the time if I know if a YouTube channel is going to blow up or if I know if a person is going to be huge on YouTube. The answer is no. I do not know. When I'm talking to any of you, I can recognize, however, what your potential is. Some people have a natural cadence when it comes to delivering. Some people are naturally great at storytelling. Some people are naturally great at shooting videos. Some people are naturally great at doing thumbnails. Well, no, I take that back.
Nobody's nobody's naturally great at doing thumbnails. All right, that's one thing. Nobody's naturally good. I haven't met one person yet that's naturally good at doing YouTube thumbnails because YouTube thumbnails are science. Once again, that's why you should go over to the school so you can properly learn how to do a YouTube thumbnail. Okay, but let's get back to the video. It's not about that. I believe on a scale from 1 to 10, okay?
10 being the best, one being not so good. If you get all of the pillars above an eight, you will be better than 99% of YouTube. Very rarely does anybody come to me and they had they are high on the pillars. Very rarely. That's why I have cohorts. That's why I have one-on-one sessions, and that's why I have the school to help you elevate the pillars above an eight. And at that moment, I am telling you, the only thing that is stopping you is time and consistency. All right, tribe. Thank you for watching the video. I am Trey and you are watching Learn with Trey. As always, God bless you on this YouTube journey and I'll see y'all next video.
