[00:00:19]So, if any word that comes after cut this word cut is a verb. If you see the word cut, the word after it is a verb.

[00:00:59]then anything that comes after it is without a doubt a fact. Okay.

[00:01:16]That it that means it's second. Any word that you see that ends looking like this that for the feminine of sukoon. The that that indicates sukoon. Such a word is always going to be a verb. Okay.

[00:02:42]If the morphology of a word allows it to receive the feminine ت the with a سكون then it is a verb and not anything else.

[00:02:51]An example again, قد قامت الصلاة قد قامت الصلاة. So, here there are two indicators that the word قام is a verb.

[00:03:01]The first indicator is قد. The second indicator is ت اتتني ساكنة قد قامت الصلاة. So, Arabic language consists of three words and these are the ways to identify which word is which. Lastly, now this is going to be the easiest one.

[00:03:19]والحرف ما لا يصلح معه دليل الاسم ولا دليل الفعل. Okay, the حرف is that which has neither of the above indicators. So, if you're looking and it has neither of the above then it's going to be a حرف. Now, here's the thing.

[00:03:37]When we're when we're talking about this, we're not saying that it has to have these things right now.

[00:03:43]We're saying that if it could receive this, if you could possibly give it تنوين, if it could possibly give it a feth a kasra at the end, then it's an ism. If you could possibly give it sawfa or sa, then it is a fi'l.
