This video provides a comprehensive revision of Unit 1 for C and C++ programming, covering the definition of a computer as an electronic device that processes inputs to produce outputs, the history of C language developed by Dennis Ritchie in 1972, the basic structure of a C program including documentation, linkage, defined constants, global declarations, and main function, and the three main types of operators: arithmetic operators (+, -, *, /, %), relational operators (<, >, <=, >=, ==), and logical operators (&&, ||, !).

C&C++ | UNIT-1 FULL EXPLANATION | 10 MARKS SEMESTER-2 | OSMANIA UNIVERSITY | 2026 | @shivanipallelaAdded:
Back to our channel. So students in this video, we will do a unit unit one explanation of C and C++ subject. So as you are having today only you are having your examination too. So this video will give a quick revision of unit one. Okay.
So first unit is introduction to C language variables, data and types and operators also. So in this the first is important is what is a computer. You need to learn about what is computer.
What is computer? A computer is a electronic device which it takes all inputs and output devices and it performs whatever the calculation we have done. Computer means input and output. It gives input and output and performs all the operational and calculation and it shows the output. Got it? Whatever we are putting into the device that is called input. Whatever the outcome we will get that is called output. Okay? So here only important thing I'm discussing now. Again, you please don't give me in the comment section about why you have been said that that said you don't keep that.
Okay? So here the first important is a history of C language. Okay? This is important. History of C language it was first developed by Dennis Ritchie in the year 1972. Okay? So in the year 1960 it is also called as Algol was developed by international committee which was abstracted and too general.
Got it? First it was established and developed in 1972 and later international committee has developed as Algol in 1960 and next in 1967.
This you need to remember the dates.
Okay? 1972, 1960, 1967, 1970, 1972, 1978. Like the same like a generations of computer and like that how you have read in the semester one same like that you need to remember this point rather than this what is important is structure of C language ma.
Okay, so this is important one. Here you will have total five subheadings. Here the first one is documentation section, second one is linkage section, third one is defined constant section, fourth one is global declaration and fifth one is main function. Okay, so here you will have a syntax of basic structure also we can say it basic structure of C or syntax of C program. So like in include studio.h include conio.h like this type of things you will have no. So that is the thing. So you need to elaborate the answers here. I have already uploaded the PDF. Again people are asking to explain some explanation videos. To be frank in C language how much I will explain also you will not understand it, okay. So it is it's it's not like practical subject also but it's like same thing you need to remember it, okay. They we are not having any shortcuts like that. So as it is you need to remember and whatever the tips I have given that you need to follow it okay and one more thing what is the important thing here in this unit is uh one minute I will tell you.
So operators in operators in C operators in C is important only like arithmetic operational relational operator, okay, logical operator in arithmetic we will perform plus or minus multiplication division percentage that is also known as modules. So, if you want to calculate this type of data types, this called operators. That we will call it as arithmetic operator. Relational operator is less than, greater than, less than equal to, greater than equal to, double equal to. Like that symbols you need to perform it, okay? So, this you need to remember it, okay? Next uh logical operators, double and, double logical or, not. So, this type of things will come here. And what can I say that operators is important, basic structure of C language is important, data types is important. So, these three questions is important from unit number one.
And uh this PDF already I have uploaded.
So, once you please check out in uh Telegram group.
And again people are asking about the uh important questions, again quick revision. So many videos I have done for C and C++. So, try to understand it. Uh if you are not understanding my explanation, you please don't watch the videos. Some of them are asking the videos. For them I'm doing. And some of saying that uh you are just showing the screen. Without showing the screen, how can I explain you the answers? That I'm not getting. And uh here in C and C++ remaining chapters also I will tell how you need to learn, okay? I will not at all explain anything. It's not at all there, ma. What I need to explain it, okay? You need to remember like that only. Programs is important. Whatever I'm saying in C language, programs is important. That you need to concentrate it, okay? So, this is the thing. This is all about the video. And I will upload the remaining videos also now. Just stay tuned to our channel. And all the very best for your examination and well as the preparation. So, this is the last exam of semester two. And uh just uh attempt all questions, okay? See you all in the next video. Bye-bye, students.
