The Truth Behind the Japanese Arson Attacks in EbetsuHinzugefügt:
It was we hate you. Anger it they decided to do this. Three fires within the two weeks. What are your thoughts on that?
>> Actually, after visiting the place, after trying to find out from our experience with that place and the history, I guess it's not about Islamophobia.
It's all about some wrong practicing, wrong actions, a lot of mistakes which irritated the Japanese society, Japanese people around this area. They were Sorry, triggered. The Japanese were triggered many times from the mistakes of some Muslims there. And because of these mistakes being piled up up by by time, they became so angry and this anger it they decided to do these crimes in a short time because it was not targeting the masjid. The masjid that was in Ebetsu, it doesn't it's not it doesn't look like an obvious masjid, does it?
>> Yeah, it's kind of caravan. Basic structure. So, there was no pointing arrows to say it's a masjid. I don't know if they understand Japanese this is a mosque or not, but It was still targeted. It was targeted, but before this incident, this accident and after this accident, like two yards of cars, like business cars are cutting the cars, doing business in this place, of Muslims were burned. So, before the masjid, they targeted one yard. Mhm. And after the masjid by few days, they targeted another yard for Muslims. So, it was we hate you. Hate you, not hate your religion. So, mosque or no mosque, it was a direct attack on a minority community. Yeah.
>> Hokkaido. And you mentioned that it could be possibly as a result of small mistakes being compiled one on top of each other, a boiling point with the community, right? What were some of the main issues and how can we work towards preventing that from happening in the future? Yeah, definitely. Again and again, even these advices are being given from the Japanese themselves. They're saying to foreigners. Regardless Muslim foreigners, non-Muslim foreigners.
Please, there are some red lines for Japanese.
