Small towns often foster authentic community connections where residents support each other through challenges, as demonstrated by a family's journey to a former coal mining town in Alabama where they found acceptance, honest business relationships, and community support despite initial skepticism from family members.

Small Town LivingAdded:
To me, this is one of the prettiest things I got.
Pale peach, simple, but I love that color.
Let me tell you about small town.
I've been pretty open with y'all.
All my channels.
Life, you might as well say, in my life.
But I'm a little older when I started than I was. You can't stay young forever. Wish I'm still in my early 50s.
That is some uh most favorite paintings [snorts] that they left out here. Right here on the side of the vehicle. I told my wife yesterday, I was like, "Let them stay out there. They ain't going to hurt nothing."
Man, they hurting. They They hadn't hurt nothing. They hadn't rained.
They hadn't just fell.
We ain't loaded.
Watch out, girl.
She likes to be in the video.
Got one over at the fence.
The burning bushes all the way down through there.
Besides that pretty maple tree.
Either way, when I moved here, this is small town.
Alabama's what this is. That's what I consider it.
My wife thought I was crazy one day when I told her, I said, "Let's move away from the town where he's at." And my mom and dad didn't take me serious or nothing.
We live right I mean, beside my mom and dad right before we moved out here.
I talked to him one day. I said, "I think we're going to move to this small town in Alabama."
And my dad laughed. He said, "Boy, you ain't going nowhere."
And my mama she took it more serious. She said, "No, you can't do that right there."
But we didn't have no kids. This This was really strange. The doctor had told my wife that we couldn't have no kids or nothing like that. I ain't never showed y'all this other side of my property.
That much. I may have. I ain't going to go all the way to back.
But anyway, I will later on. There's a reason right now. I'm setting up some more cameras and everything in the process of it. Oh, oh.
Oh.
She was like, "Jeff, please don't move down there."
The doctor had already told my wife that we we could never have kids and it broke her heart. It broke my heart, too, but it broke Sasha's heart 100 times worse being a woman.
But God is in control and he brought us a miracle probably within 6 months after we got here.
This is known as Cold Town, too, y'all.
I'm going to give you a picture. I may go downtown before long and just show y'all this sweet little town.
I mean, I've never when we moved down here I want to say something about the town.
Down there where you pay your water bill and stuff, it's just small little area.
But I talked to them women and stuff while I'm in there. They treated me right.
Good as gold.
Steve, there's a guy down here I didn't know about till later on who he really was or anything, but he worked down there years ago.
He's just fine as a fellow I've ever met in my entire life. That man shook my hand. He'll remember I'm telling the truth. He come up.
I can't remember if I had the fence or not because I was really I was been so long.
Uh I believe it was right before the major trouble even started. He come up and shook my hand somewhere right here.
Stephen, we had a good talk.
Uh I I told Sasha I'm so happy we And the women get back to the women where you pay the water bill and stuff in the police area, they was good as gold. They talked to us just like a little friendly country town will.
They talked to us and I knew right then there is a place I feel like we belong.
And getting back to Steve cuz somebody may be from this area may watch this and know Steve and they'll know what I'm talking about. That man is good as gold. I'm going to go ahead I will I'm not going to say his last name but his son used to have a shop and he is a awesome mechanic.
I was super busy one week and I had something to do and my dad used to have a S10 and he may remember this to this day. He didn't know who I was. He didn't know me from a Adam's house cat house cat and his dad didn't either. But anyway, I'm so happy that day I went ahead and we took that S10 with a 350 to it and uh he worked on that truck his son did and he let my dad stay there. Me and my wife left. We had something to do. We didn't live far road. We had we had a little something to do. So I said, "Daddy uh just go ahead and come with us." And Steve's son looked at my dad. He said, "No." He said, "I trust you. Just stay right here in my office and everything."
And he didn't know my dad had never met him in my entire life. My dad is already over and he'd already I know a lot of y'all know this. He'd already had a massive stroke after my momma died. He he didn't pass away for 5 years and in the same day that my momma died on. That that shocked me to this day. But anyway, he didn't know my dad even he let him sit in his office where his cash register was. And this is God's truth. I'm not playing.
The whole time he fixed that truck. and I got to tell y'all he fixed that truck totally he put an auction sensor in it is what he did.
And it was a tough area where he's at and that man looked make it look simple.
I could tell by looking to looking at him and talking to him he's going to be awesome mechanic and I knew right then there he's going to be a honest mechanic like we used to have.
He's He's like a old timing mechanic even though he's a new age here. He's a younger man.
But my day was so happy that little ass thing would run. It was didn't have no weight in that truck.
Cuz it had a little 50 amp 350 amp. But either way I'm going to let y'all know this no matter what happens in this town or what's happened now since I know the future really changed a lot with drugs and everything else.
Really has. It's like an epidemic. So many people has lost their children, their grandkids far on and far on. Their family members to OD'ing and everything else. But I'm going to let y'all know there is some awesome people lives down here and I have met them.
And they didn't know I had channel or nothing either. I can't remember I found had channel start right then when I uh shook hands with Steve but I was trying to keep it on a very low profile and stuff.
But I got welcomed this town but every every single one of them and them women did down there too.
But anyway I'll do a video later on. I may go ahead and represent this town.
I'll go ahead and show y'all.
It was a old coal town. Still got the pictures right now and everything at the uh right when you're coming in the city.
And there's mountains everywhere.
Right up the road stuff where it used to be mountains and stuff where they uh got that coal.
I'm sure the law of the mountains has leveled here using as much coal found.
It used to be a booming town years ago when the coal boom happened.
Well, I thought that I'd show y'all this town.
Y'all all have a good day and hit that subscribe button. Give me a thumbs up.
It'll help me out. Thank y'all.
