As a regulator, we have a unique view across the whole market. We receive large volumes of data across multiple asset classes.

Just a few years ago, much of our work was reactive. But trading strategies have evolved. They become faster, more automated, and more complex. And so have the risks.
The figures are stark. Organized crime now represents 25% [music] of the suspicious transactions reports we receive.
We recently had multiple successful outcomes for insider dealing. We won't hesitate to use the full range of our regulatory powers and criminal powers to take [music] action against wrongdoers.
And even where our cases don't lead to public outcomes, we still act. We disrupt the harmful behavior, >> [music] >> we educate companies and individuals, and we help firms to strengthen their controls.
