Similar activities are the group together into the department or the divisions.
Sir example purchase activities in the purchase department.

Simple in any firm you have to give duty to the right person. Now store keeper looking after store. Now accountant people handle account. Now that is the main thing. So the very important we give duty in this process.
We give duty to the right person and give him the power. That is very important. Now delegation of authority.
Authority is given to the each person to do his work.
Authority must match with the responsibility.
Example, manager can approve purchase.
Very important. Supervisor can give instruction to the worker. Storekeeper issue the materials. Yes or no?

So organization structure how actually very important this line is very important how an organization is organized because in my organization various people are working and the level is is different different there's a top person again I'm saying this there's a top person staff members line managers supervisor worker foreman departmental head many people. So guys there's a order now who will report to that person or the responsibility the communication level in what manner. So these tells us line functional line and staff. Just take the example of PM. PM means production manager. Below the production manager, we have a four main and the last but not least there is a work. So guys this is simple what the flowing look at workman to report that person foreman to report that person and production manager to report that person that is important.
He gave order to that he gave order to that and he advised to that to do to do that work. So guys military means what very important let's discuss one by one.

Functional organization means what? Is a type of organization in which work is divided into different departments according to function or specialization.
Means each department is going to manage by an expert.
Each department where are actually in the functional organization we have different department. So each department is going to handle by the expert. Like example of departments in the firm we have a production department, a finance department, marketing and HR department.

R&D manager, finance manager, marketing manager, whatever type of manager and the main person is president, top of the authority guys.
Below the R&D manager we have a task of design task development task test and task finance manager accountability purchasing finance part sales and customer service below the marketing manager same like division part. So thing is what that is very important. So guys features what we have a department wise structure in the functional organization actually work is divided into the departments like marketing finance and HR specialization actually employees become experts in the specific work because we have a separate department and clear reporting clear reporting is what he is the main so the people who work in design part the people who work in development part The people who work in testing part directly report to their R&D manager. That is the meaning that is the meaning teamwork.
R&D man R&D expertise is responsible for the team work. He collect the main person of the uh testing department, the design department and the the department which is under the R&D team work to achieve the main target. Employees in the same department work together in the better efficiency for that. Now suitability this type of organization large organization suitable for the companies with many department and employees.
I told you a specialized work where expert we need it routine and repetitive work department wise operation clear roles and responsibility.
Next is important line and staff. Line and staff organization guys. Line and staff two person two actually two authority here. Line and staff it is a combination of line organization and the staff organization.
Line authority is different. Staff authority is different. Actually line managers takes decision and staff expert provide guidance. So line authority gives direct order instruction example production sales. The staff authority advice to them what line manager. So guys in a big company we have a combination of line organization staff organization.
Example of a factory. Let's take example of factory. Very simple example [snorts] in an in a factory there's a production manager. Yes or no? Production manager control the workers only. Huh? But HR is also there for HR is also there. Now HR expert helps in what? Recruitment. Huh?
